Bottom Line: Excellent customer service, quality workmanship and a nice lounge…read more I recently took my car to Chesapeake Car Wash for a full detail and I was impressed with the service they provided. I arrived a bit before the official opening time and I really appreciated that I was still warmly greeted. After turning my car over to the staff I was shown to the lounge and offered complementary beverages. When it was time to retrieve my car I like that a staff member ushered me to the enclosed garage where they worked on my car so I could inspect it before driving off. I walked around the car but didn't see anything that needed a touch up. I thought my car was relatively free of "stuff" before turning it over to the staff but apparently they found plenty of junk remaining which they gathered into a white trash bag during the cleaning process. I really liked this approach because it shows they moved the clutter to clean the nooks and crannies and it gave me the opportunity to sift through my car junk and to make a decision about what to keep and what to toss. The staff was very courtesy and customer-service oriented. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be much better about getting my car cleaned in the future.

The interior service was unacceptable! I asked to speak with an associate. This is an overview is the comments I made and the response of the employee. There was mediocre attempt to vacuum the weather tech floor mats were still dirty. We require extra payment to power wash the mats. I am a first time customer and this service was provided at other similar places. The vacuum service was subpar. Many places I could still see where they had not touched. The employee stated they could re-do the vacuum service. The arm rest had a coffee mark on it and was still there. No remark with a shoulder shrug. The seats still had crumbs in the creases. There also no attempt to wipe fingerprints off the center console where there is brushed chrome. And the outside was no better. There was no tire shine applied to my tires. And the rims were not cleaned and mud was still on the mud tire wells There was the offer of a redo of the vacuum. There should have been entire redo of the interior service. As a first time customer, this was a horrible experience. Not sure if this is the level of service that is typical or if the facility is poorly managed

The $59.99 membership is worth it as long as I use it at least once a week. It was a lifesaver during snowy weather, letting me remove residue from road treatments and salt. In the Spring and Summer, it easily removes pollen as often as needed. Be sure to try different locations--service depends more on management and staff than the facility. I've found the best spots in my DMV area and stick with those. I get the best service early in the morning or after 6:30 PM on weekdays. Weekends are crowded and rushed; I avoid Saturdays but occasionally go on Sunday mornings. Recently, I needed to transfer my membership to a different vehicle due to a mechanical issue. The first customer service representative (unnamed) did not complete the transfer, and I was billed for a month without being able to use the membership on the new vehicle, as it is tracked by the vehicle tag. Therefore, because the transfer was incomplete, I could not use the car wash. I called customer service at 410-824-1135 and spoke with Latrice, who resolved the issue, transferred my membership, and handled the unused month. I must admit I was frustrated, but Latrice's patience and temperament helped us resolve the situation in one call. Thank you, Latrice! Flagship Carwash needs more employees like Latrice. She was pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, and is definitely a rarity in her field! He made sure my mirrors and cameras were not only clean but he got some moss/algae type stuff off of them as well. He even detailed my tires and wheels. It's hard to find someone that will wash an RV in the area because not everyone has the space and I can't do it in the storage yard.
