So, it was a no-brainer to choose them as the venue for our wedding's welcome party. The pricing was very reasonable for such a large space and served as the bar tab for all our guests. We opted for in-house catering, and the pizza and wings were delicious as always. The staff was super accommodating and wonderful, making the food service, bar, and audio/visual a smooth experience. Our guests had an absolute blast and it was a great way to introduce so many of the people in our lives to one of our favorite Maryland institutions. Thank you Crooked Crab!

Halloween Happening Fundraising Event…read more Definitely for those under the age of 8 or so 10 if you restrict TV/movies etc from your kids and they haven't been predisposed to certain things. Not bad for $15 per person They don't offer any discounts not even military.. You walk up the paved walkway purchase your ticket ($15pp), I think under 6 is free but don't quote me on that. And you wait in line. We waited about 45mins before our group of roughly 20 went into the Haunted Barn walked down a lil hill to the mini maze, and we all loaded up in the trailer for the hayride. Please dress for the occasion, it was 43 degrees out and they don't have space heaters outdoors or fire pits etc to keep you toasty wok you wait. Although a fire pit and selling s'mores kit would've been another selling point. They did have apple cider, canned sodas chips candy and popcorn for sale. I'd suggest pack your own snacks and drinks. Oh and they had glow sticks for the kids. Organization could've been a bit better, lighting to the restroom would've been nice and more scary props. And that god awful smoky smell from the fog machine or whatever was horrendous like old fireworks just bad.

There is also an outdoor porch area where the bridal shower was occuring. Most of the seating inside was high top seating. All the wines are made in house and there was a large selection! Our server (who may also be the manager/owner?) was very kind and explained some of the wines for us. We got 2 of their flights and they were all excellent. The Library Collection has some unique drinks. They do sell most of their bottles to go (pic of pricing in this review!). They also make food and they all smelled great. First thing I notice was how laid back and cozy this place looked. The staff were dressed in normal clothes and were very welcoming. The either scene felt like you could stay there all day with your favorite group of people. Went with the beer flights and fish and chips. The waiter suggested to try their award winning beer as one of the choice and I see why it was top tier . The food was fresh and delicious and overall had a great time. Four thick slices of fresh toast with an amazing flavored butter. The brownie was bigger than expected and mildly sweet. The salted caramel gelato was a nice compliment. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting this location, and everyone had such a great time. One of the co-founders, Greg, personally led our tasting and was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, and checked on us throughout the afternoon to make sure everything was going smoothly. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I also appreciated that some friends who don't drink were still able to enjoy themselves thanks to the non-alcoholic options. The property itself is beautiful with scenic views, plenty of space to relax, and such a peaceful atmosphere. We had amazing weather the day we visited, which made it even more memorable. There was PLENTY of seating still - lots of large and small tables scattered throughout the property. They also have seating inside the winery at a small bar. The wine itself was really nice; we had several bottles of the rose at the table. It was light, crisp, and easy to sip in the nice weather. I was impressed that they also had 2 non alcoholic wines; the non drinkers in our group were happy to have some options made just for them (which were delicious also). There is a third party pizza business that had food offerings; we had many different types of their pizza which were all good. Very smart to have a food option for folks to enjoy while we sip our wine. Overall, the property is wonderfully maintained and the wines meet all expectations. Some of my colleagues were new to axe throwing too and picked it up really fast. For the catered food, I really like the pizza and beer pretzels. The host Sydney from The Plot Twist did a great job hosting and the ladies from Linganore were excellent in helping through out the class! There is a small parking lot that for everyday purposes is a perfect size. The bathrooms are well maintained and individual bathrooms. I returned another day to try their wines and was not disappointed! I enjoyed them so much that I took home 3 different bottles which me and my girlfriends all enjoyed. I'll be back for their Caribbean festival and can not wait!
