These are lovely condos compared to everything else. There's never anyone in the hall. The person that said it was crowded. It's so not crowded. Several people actually live here. There's always parking. There is an elevator for handicap and elevator to take you to your room if you don't wanna climb stairs, the boardwalk is very safe and nice. I love the big decks. That's why I always stay here. The balconies are fantastic for drinking coffee playing cards on the table and chairs. There's always a sitting area on a table and chair area And in the corner there's a sitting area around the corner for the price. They are fantastic. The one we just stayed in 70 one had new furniture a person with us needed a recliner. Everything reclined and I love it was brand new. The kitchen is laid out so well I love the Jacuzzi tub that cleans itself after every bath and they're like that in every room Every condo you won't find a better place to say across the street is the pizza place the wonderful wine bar with French wine across the street down the road is the islander and I mean barely down the road. The Grand has an app listing all the things it offers ~ I can't list them all here. Still the lawn games (bocce, corn hole, ping pong, mini golf) and bicycles merit mention! Don't miss the 3:45 pm history of the hotel and cannon firing! It's expensive to stay here, but it is fun. The grounds do not disappoint ~ the staff miss no detail in keeping this property in top form. Our room was nice ~ but my theory of hotels is that no matter how luxurious the lobby, the rooms are basically the same. The night light on stove was out and I called and it was resolved. The service is great and the Condos are fully equipped and functional. The kitchen is always fully equipped. The Condo I stayed in this time could use an upgrade of the master bathroom but I still give an overall review of 5 because of the service and excellent customer service. Shoutout to Desiree whom I had the pleasure of speaking with the very first time I called for a reservation a few years ago after the owner I originally booked with discontinued Airbnb shortly after COVID ended. Everyone is so professional and friendly. Desiree is superb and I always speak with her but I also know when she's off I still receive awesome service.

There was someone playing live music at certain times of the day. The room was clean and had a simple but nice setup. The shower had great water temperature and pressure. We had an ocean view room which was worth the extra cost. Waking up to the beach every morning was so satisfying. Reading on the balcony while listening to the ocean sounds and watching the waves was everything that I needed. The hotel has beach towels that are easily checked out through a machine. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available first come first serve to hotel guests which is very convenient. There was a heated outdoor pool, a volleyball net and a few games inside. We ate all of our meals at the hotel. We ate at the grab and go food spot. I ordered the feta and spinach croissant, a chocolate chip scone and a cappuccino. We also ate dinner at the latitude 30. I ordered a ceasar salad and calamari. For breakfast at latitude 30, I ordered the French toast dish that comes bacon and I ordered a side of eggs. We also ate at the fine dining restaurant onsite where I ordered the seared scallops dish and the vanilla crème brûlée. All of the meals that we ate at the hotel were very tasty. The restaurant staff were all kind and the utensils were spotless. I believe food may have also been served at the bar near the pool, but I didn't try any food from there during my visit. The gentleman at the lobby bar was also friendly and attentive, we didn't catch his name. The list of things we wished were different is short. Could have used speakers playing music during the times at the pool when there wasn't live music. Wait times in the restaurant were long. (Food was hit or miss...not horrible but mostly unremarkable... However the spinach dip at the casual restaurant is off the charts and the wagyu steak at Voyagers is incredible!!) Robs Condos Gulf Shores Plantation Unit 4110 I rented this…read morecondo from Robs Condos, (Stayed 5 1/2 months) and they withheld my deposit due to an extended stay cleaning fee. I left this condo in very good condition, but he insisted this was a legitimate fee due to the length of the stay, and he was billed for this by his cleaning company. I discovered his cleaning company bills everyone for this service, not because of excessive dirt, but because of the length of the stay. Rob's condo rental bill stated the rental fee was complete, and did not say anything about extended stay cleaning fees. I lost my deposit, because Rob's Condos did not know he would be billed extra from his cleaning company. That is not my fault! He could have easily included this fee in his "Complete" pricing!

It has been closed almost more than it has been open. Too bad the times it was open, it was almost unusable because of the COLD water. The indoor pool isn't much better. It doesn't take over 3 months to fix a hot tub, and the "Waiting for parts" response is getting old. Too bad, my landlord could be losing a $5000.00 + rental for next winter. After it hits their wallets, they might get it fixed!!
