It's so beautiful and relaxing here. Just like the pics. Idk why I'm seeing a few bad reviews. Because this is our happy place tbh. The pool is so nice and always feels perfect temp. Never cold. You can watch movies in the pool house or use their kitchen and bbq equipment. We borrowed their bigger grill because we had a small one. They have games to play in the pool house and u can watch a movie on the big screen next to the pool. They have a workout room if you'd like. A dog park for your fur babies. A park for the kiddos. They also have a lot across the street to walk down to the bay and sit in lounge chairs to see the water and stars. Or sit ag picnic tables. They have picnic tables at every rv lot now as well. It's perfect. It's the best rv park I've ever seen. That's for sure. Plus it's RIGHT next to the beaches. U turn right and go over the bridge and you're on dauphin island. U can take the ferry across to gulf shores as well. You have fort Gaines here and fort Morgan across the ferry. Yes. Wifi has worked for us the whole time we've been here.. but we also always bring an extra wifi box. The people are always so nice here You can buy propane or ice if u run out. I really don't know what else to say other than it's awesome. Yes the prices went up some since the last time we were here. But the prices of everything has went up due to the economy right now. It's still much cheaper than anywhere else we've stayed. I mean we paid $1200 to stay at Austin lake cabin for a week, $800 for Kalahari water park resort for just 3 days and $800 for here for two weeks. Or u can do a month for $600. Idk. I'm gonna go relax by the pool as I type this. It's so relaxing and calm here.

The speed limit is 5 MPH and we all obey (low dust and much safer). Friendly folk stay here. Some use it as a base to explore the area, some to recharge their batteries. The office has two single person bathrooms with a bathroom (cleanest and best smelling bathroom I've ever used). Sit by the bay or go fishing from the pier while George the Heron waits for handouts. Evenings feature a social circle around the chimera. This campground is a hidden gem 15 minutes from the hub-bub of activity. Well-behaved dog friendly with a designated walking area. No playground, pool or game room, but the office has books and games to borrow, as well as a coffeemaker. Laundry and Ice are on site. Going west, you can go to Fort Morgan of take the ferry to Dauphin Island (check out Sassy Bass bar and grill). Going east, you have Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and all the Gulf activities you can afford. BTW... go grocery shopping at Rouses, excellent deli, great seafood and meat (aged beef) and ready cooked food. Happy Pappy Coffee is my favorite stopping place.

Since I have left the 9-5 grind, semi-retired, sold my house and hit the road with my husband, respectfully retired about 3 years ago, we have learned a few things about full time RV living vs. camping. At this time we are at a lovely adult leaning Sioux Bayou RV Park which sports a cute little beer bar called the Hideaway. The management and staff could not be more accommodating. It is very basic...very natural, located on the Sioux Bayou. The butterflies, dragon flies, birds of all types adorn this simple RV park into a perfect paradise. There are alligators, we named our buddy Gary the Gator. Never feed the Gators! There are bald Eagle flying overhead. There are migratory patterns that allow a rare look at birds you only see while migration. The moon and stars decorate the night. If you find good people, beautiful views and natural experiences a good life, you will enjoy pulling up and relaxing.

Nicely done. The bathhouse facilities were also just as spotless. They have a well-appointed little store as well on site but its only minutes away from everything you could possibly need. Its very peaceful and quiet. The staff here were VERY helpful and gracious. The entire place was just neat as a pin. Ill be recommending this RV Resort to everyone I know!!

The park managers here are the BEST!…read more Last week I had some issues with ants and I asked Allan if he could help me, and did it without hesitation! He came over and started helping me move everything, got bit by fire ants, and went and got some poison to throw out. I later put some more out and was waiting a day or two to make sure that the ants were all gone. I work long hours and its been pretty dark by the time i get home, so i havent had a chance to get my area back together. I came home the other night and he had placed my rug back, pallet and my chairs neatly back where everything belonged! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He did not have to do that for me, but I am so grateful he did. I told that long story just to show how much he looks out for everyone! Also, Angie works so hard in the office. She is usually still in the office by the time i get home from work, way past closing time. They have made my time here so enjoyable!

The bathhouse, laundry room, activity room, gym, and pool were all well maintained. They have trash pick up at your site at 10:00. They clean restrooms at 11:30. It's all laid out so you can plan your day. A lot of loungers and chairs at the pool. They put us on the outside line for campers and we were grateful to not be in the middle backed up to another camper. Staff were all very friendly. We will for sure return to this campground.

The property is immaculate and the amenities are first class, the sites are spacious and very level with well maintained utilities and there is plenty of room between the sites. We were looking for a campground in close proximity to Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and this location checked all the boxes. We got delayed and arrived the day after our original arrival date and the staff worked with us to extend our stay. If you're considering a trip to the area I highly recommend you look at booking a stay here this is definitely a place I'd book again...
