There are 5 private covered balconies on the south side of the home, and their are two additional private covered balconies on the north side of the home that offer incredible views of Ole River. It was still Just as Peaceful, Beautiful, With Awe-Inspiring Views! The Sunrise and Sunset views, Simply Magical. We like to get the LARGE sweet... Well, because we simply Like to. Each stay was an 8 day stay, and it always seems To Fly By, but I guess Magical TIMES usually do. The rooms are Clean, Spacious, Nicely Decorated and we are pretty much, are there in our Own World, until we Exit, as we Desire it! Oh and I will Not to forget that The Resort is Beautiful and Staff, Friendly. We plan on Making it a Yearly, and Maybe a couple of times a Year, Same Room, Same Length of time!(Though we extended a day this stay LOL) We were just in our Zone, but realized One day Extension would be enough, as we had to get back home!

The size of the 3 bedroom unit is amazing and the expansive balconies w/grills and hot tubs are just over the top. Super quiet and made for families to just be together. Every amenity is spotless and super clean. The staff are always friendly and prompt. They have heated the lazy river pool during the cooler days and that was the bomb for us adults to chill out. Make sure you book with spectrum as they have a free breakfast buffet daily. We can't wait to go back in September!

Oh and your not far from the Alabama/Florida line, so you can buy lotto tickets or just make a run to Florida.

This condo community treated my girls like pieces of sh!t the entire time we were there. my daughter is deaf and requires hearing aids, of which she can't wear in the pool for obvious reasons, so the girls were talking exceptionally loud so my daughter could hear, and their language offended someone bad enough for them to call the cops on the girls. Instead of acting like civilized humans and asking the girls to lower their volume or watch their language, they called the cops. The police were so kind and said they had 20 unnecessary calls that day, ours being one of them (way to waste the cops resources). Then they threatened to tow our second vehicle because it didn't have a parking pass, of which it did. That's not to mention the condition of any cooking utensil or pot or pan. Bring your own unless you want teflon flakes in your food. The lights flickered when the microwave was in use (oh and if your microwaving for quickness, don't). It took about 20 minutes for one of the girls to cook a frozen food that on a normal microwave would take 2 minutes. The lights flickered anytime a hair dryer was used. The dishwasher was not screwed into the counter so you had to pull the dishwasher out to even shut the door. A lightbulb went out in the master bathroom and it was never fixed, the TVs played only stations from the 1990s, so if you need TV to sleep, bring your own. Zero streaming service, but oh wait, they left one DVD to watch, so generous ‍. The mattress in the spare bedroom was 57 years old and you could feel every spring. Chairs on the patio will flip you on your @$$ if you're not careful. A full time resident fell over drunk right at the entrance of the complex one day, but I'm pretty sure it was whoever was complaining about my girls nonstop, because after we helped her drunk @$$ up, no more trouble. We weren't the problem, it was the"association" filled with old jealous bitties that didn't like me and my girls staying there because they are young and fun and GORGEOUS! So, to end this review, do not stay at the Landing if you're under 75, taking young people to enjoy a week at the beach. Don't stay Here if you wish to cook any at all. I forgot the toaster also didn't work. Do not stay here if you don't want to be harassed the entire time.

Here are the issues we encountered: *Pubic hair in the tub *Chunks of used soap in tub *For 2 days we kept getting blocked in (or out) of our parking spot by contractors & spent time each day trying to find someone to move them multiple times *No a/c for a good chunk of one of the days *No advanced notice that maintenance would literally barge through the door as my husband tried to keep keep him out thinking he was breaking in *Photos posted are either of another unit or they've not updated them as it was quite different than the images posted *Showed a beach front deck (that said beach access from it wouldn't be available due to construction) but that was for a totally different unit and there is no beach front back deck *Once the a/c worked again it took 2 days to get the unit below 75* *The main bedroom ceiling fan is so noisy you can't use it on high *Living room ceiling fan was so poorly installed it shook that we thought it would fall out of the ceiling so we couldn't use that *Had to pay extra money to leave the unit to find something to do when it was so hot due to the no a/c but we're sunburned so we didn't want to leave that day *Kids at another unit ran up & down the upper level & screamed/yelled so loud that we were woken up in the morning and late at night *Filthy sofa bed
