I have called Dr. K on weekends and in the middle of the night in emergencies. As first time parents we shared our concern with info we had heard about vaccine risks and the practice allowed us to space some of the shots out a few weeks (if I remember correctly) but calmly told us they would not skip vaccines. They were patient but firm and we appreciated it. Dr. K cares about you and your kids. The staff truly cares about you and your kids. I couldn't have asked for a better pediatrician.

My second born, was a perfectly healthy newborn, until after his two month apt. He received the normal vaccines at which time he started to have a lot of problems; episodes of crying for more than 3-4 hrs, reflux, issues with his bowels, and eczema. I brought him in for a follow up, and was told the green mucus stool, was caused by a dairy allergy. I was breastfeeding and my diet had not changed. I removed dairy from my food and even tried a dairy free formula that never helped him. They tested his stool multiple times for blood, because they said it is was a true dairy allergy eventually his stool would have blood. It never did. I refused his 4 and 6 months shots, because at this point I had read the FDA inserts and SEVERAL medical studies that listed his symptoms as a reaction to the DTAP. I brought this up to the provider who questioned my sources, and when I told her pubmed, the cdc, and science direct she still didn't believe me. I showered her the FDA inserts of symptoms and her explanation was that the eczema was because newborns skin has to get used to the outside world.... And insisted that it wasn't from the vaccines. I then asked for the information on the lot numbers and brand so that I could report his symptoms to VAERS, it was at this time that Dr. K finally called to get involved and said we would not be able to stay due to their vaccine policy, after a very heated conversation of me bringing up the research and the fact that they clearly didn't care about my child enough to allow me to delay, or believe that this was a reaction despite the research and proof. Mind you I have been an ER NURSE for 8 years, and my first was fully vaccinated. After we were threatened to be removed we found a new pediatrician, as we did not feel that they truly cared for our children or safe there anymore. Fast forward to our new pediatrician and we reviewed his medical history and the previous mentioned events, and this provider informed me that this was an adverse reaction to the dtap without even telling him what I believed. He informed us the risk for more severe reactions on another dose is ten fold after these symptoms. He said we were so very lucky that we were educated enough to do the research and put our foot down, because had we not known and gone through with it he could have been seriously harmed. My first born also had speech delay I brought this up regularly from 14 mths on at BAP, and was ignored and told that he was fine. After leaving this office, we were referred to a speech therapist by the new pediatrician and were told that at 2.5 yrs old he had the speech of an 18 mth old. We have been advised by lawyers, that we have a good case for medical negligence and malpractice.The sheets they send you AFTER the apt never once told me that these issues could occur, that is not true informed consent. If you have ever had a baby with these symptoms, do your research and trust your gut.

I am the daughter of a Patient of Dr. Narrs and I live in Florida....so....I do not have direct access to appointments with my Mother. My mother is 90 years old with Aggressive Dementia. First of All....NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE @ Dr. Narrs Office. There will be a message offering several Assistant Names....and you must leave a voicemail.....which usually doesn't get returned for several days. Early on....I felt that Dr. Narr was NOT going to be a FIT Doctor...since....upon Asking Questions regarding my Mom's Health via the Patient Portal... Dr. Narr automatically refused to answer my questions of concern via the Patient Portal. Most of my questions were regarding INACCURATE INFORMATION in my Mother's Medical Record on the Patient Portal, which I wanted to clarify...allowing the Dr to provide the most accurate care. Dr. Narr was not interested in my corrections....and stated that she would not be responding to my questions via the Patient Portal. In fact....she actually REMOVED HER NAME FROM AVAILABILITY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS via the Patient Portal. WAIT....IT GETS WORST! After EVERY Appointment, I actually had to call Dr. Narrs Office (several times) to have them post After-Visit Summary's (it was not even automatic). The WORST MOMENT WHEN I DISCOVERED DR. NARR's Office DISHONESTY....WAS WHEN I CALLED FOR RESULTS OF A Urinalysis test for Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). I was told the Urinalysis was NEGATIVE FOR UTI....and....I asked Assistant to please mail me results. They agreed. Several days later....I received another call back stating that they had made a mistake....and THE RESULTS WERE POSITIVE FOR UTI AND THEY WOULD BE ORDERING ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIPTION. So...Had I not asked for results to be mailed to me.....My mother would NOT have been treated for a UTI. CARELESS, DECEPTIVE and FAILURE TO TREAT. When a Doctor is NEGLIGENT and FAILS TO TREAT you ....This is Medical Malpractice. Several Months later....My Mom was experiencing Urinary Frequency & Delirium, which is usually a sign of UTI....and....I called Dr. Narr's Office and explained that my mother was calling me several times per day and very angry and trying to escape the Assisted Living Facility, which was out of character for her. The Assistant stated that Dr. Narr did not feel that a Urinalysis was necessary to test for UTI. I begged them to do UTI, which they eventually did...however....Dr. Narr called me back speaking very rudely and stated that THEY WERE DROPPING MOM AS A PATIENT SINCE I NO LONGER TRUSTED THEM....AND....SINCE I WAS RUDE TO THEIR STAFF. Well....YES.....How could I trust them when they originally lied stating She was Negative for UTI. Well....Dr. Narr DROPPED MY 90 YEAR OLD DEMENTIA MOTHER....WHO MAY BE VERY NEAR DEATH. According to the invoice, after insurance I owed a total of 653.88 and had only paid 539.26, so I still owe $114.62. According to my bank statements, I have paid them 677.67, so based on their invoice, they actually owe me $20. Guess I'll have to call them and get berated again.
