I was wrong. I went from constant pain, numbness, loss of movement/strength to stronger than I was prior to the injury. I have zero issues now and without a doubt it is thanks to the amazing staff at APT in Cambridge. My routine was customized for me and they watched my every movement and would adjust to whatever was it wasn't working - and that is all just them being true professionals in their field! And I can't say enough great things about how personable they were every single time I came through the door. I am truly thankful for the work they put into my recovery. Do not hesitate to ask them for help, you will not be let down.

I completed the phone call, paperwork, and scheduled my intake date. However, I noticed the address they sent me to was different than the one listed online. I assumed one location was a headquarters and the other was the actual treatment center. Well, let me tell you  the moment I arrived, I realized nothing matched what was advertised. There was a young woman standing outside with two trash bags full of clothes, smoking and drinking. She told me it was her third time at this facility and that she had just gotten out of detox. I didn't judge that part because it is a treatment center, but things went downhill fast. Inside, they immediately placed me in a small room to complete intake paperwork. My first red flag should have been the flies constantly buzzing around inside the treatment facility. The second red flag was their intake process. I had my belongings separated: clothes in one suitcase, shoes in another, and hygiene products in a third. Their first step was to put all of my clothes and shoes together into a machine they called "the zapper" (Its purpose was to kill bed bugs). In my opinion, that's disgusting. Shoes that have been worn outside should not be thrown in with clean clothes. Once the zapper cycle finished, they dumped everything into a hamper, shoes included. Next, they took me into a room to count my medications. The nurse placed them on a small tray, but I noticed powder residue from someone else's medication still on it. This was unprofessional and unsanitary. Then, they made me strip out of the clothes I was wearing including my underwear and Ugg boots and put everything into that same zapper. They do not disinfect it in between different people's belongings. After the cycle, they expected me to put those same undergarments back on. At that point I was already uncomfortable and disgusted. When they finally took me to the room where I was expected to stay, it looked like a three-person cell. I seen the inside of a jail, and I can tell you: this was no different. The staff member pointed out two hooks for my coat, but I didn't even want to hang it up because there was black residue on the wall. The comforter on the bed had stains. When I asked if it was clean, she insisted that she had "just cleaned it herself", but it absolutely did not look clean or sanitary. Nothing about this place resembled the "luxurious" environment they advertise--quite the opposite. It felt like a jail. They sent in the director, nursing staff, and other employees to convince me to stay and they could "wipe down the walls." No facility selling itself as a safe and supportive treatment center should need to promise to wipe down walls after people check in. They also failed to mention the facility is walking distance from a jail, and many of the patients are sent there directly from custody. That is something people should know in advance. I am giving this facility a one-star review. The experience was horrible, the advertising is extremely misleading, and it cost me $120 for an Uber back home because I refused to stay in those conditions. They provided transportation to bring me there, but since I did not complete the program, they refused to take me back. This is unacceptable. I am the daughter of a Patient of Dr. Narrs and I live in Florida....so....I do not have direct access to appointments with my Mother. My mother is 90 years old with Aggressive Dementia. First of All....NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE @ Dr. Narrs Office. There will be a message offering several Assistant Names....and you must leave a voicemail.....which usually doesn't get returned for several days. Early on....I felt that Dr. Narr was NOT going to be a FIT Doctor...since....upon Asking Questions regarding my Mom's Health via the Patient Portal... Dr. Narr automatically refused to answer my questions of concern via the Patient Portal. Most of my questions were regarding INACCURATE INFORMATION in my Mother's Medical Record on the Patient Portal, which I wanted to clarify...allowing the Dr to provide the most accurate care. Dr. Narr was not interested in my corrections....and stated that she would not be responding to my questions via the Patient Portal. In fact....she actually REMOVED HER NAME FROM AVAILABILITY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS via the Patient Portal. WAIT....IT GETS WORST! After EVERY Appointment, I actually had to call Dr. Narrs Office (several times) to have them post After-Visit Summary's (it was not even automatic). The WORST MOMENT WHEN I DISCOVERED DR. NARR's Office DISHONESTY....WAS WHEN I CALLED FOR RESULTS OF A Urinalysis test for Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). I was told the Urinalysis was NEGATIVE FOR UTI....and....I asked Assistant to please mail me results. They agreed. Several days later....I received another call back stating that they had made a mistake....and THE RESULTS WERE POSITIVE FOR UTI AND THEY WOULD BE ORDERING ANTIBIOTIC PRESCRIPTION. So...Had I not asked for results to be mailed to me.....My mother would NOT have been treated for a UTI. CARELESS, DECEPTIVE and FAILURE TO TREAT. When a Doctor is NEGLIGENT and FAILS TO TREAT you ....This is Medical Malpractice. Several Months later....My Mom was experiencing Urinary Frequency & Delirium, which is usually a sign of UTI....and....I called Dr. Narr's Office and explained that my mother was calling me several times per day and very angry and trying to escape the Assisted Living Facility, which was out of character for her. The Assistant stated that Dr. Narr did not feel that a Urinalysis was necessary to test for UTI. I begged them to do UTI, which they eventually did...however....Dr. Narr called me back speaking very rudely and stated that THEY WERE DROPPING MOM AS A PATIENT SINCE I NO LONGER TRUSTED THEM....AND....SINCE I WAS RUDE TO THEIR STAFF. Well....YES.....How could I trust them when they originally lied stating She was Negative for UTI. Well....Dr. Narr DROPPED MY 90 YEAR OLD DEMENTIA MOTHER....WHO MAY BE VERY NEAR DEATH. Dr. Narr is extraordinary. She is extremely knowledgable and patient and will take extended amounts…read moreof time making sure she understands everything about your health situation. Our whole family visited her and we all felt that she was a good fit for our family. Our children prefer not to see any other physician for any reason. She is the only one they trust!
