I wish I could give them negative 5 stars it started from the paramedics treated me so bad I was trying to explain to them the best way I possibly could what was going on with me on top of that I was having a full blown panic attack one paramedic smacked his teeth and said just breathe with an attitude, they got me outside in the cold I'm shaking soooooo bad pointing at the blanket they did not put it on me they made me ride like that to the hospital I'm shaking so bad and couldn't control my breathing the one paramedic asked the other for some pill to shove down my mouth at this point I became beyond terrified because I didn't know what they were trying to do, they treated my situation like it was no emergency they drove soooo slow and took the longest way to get to the hospital. Got to the hospital the the Dr asked the paramedics what's wrong they told him just anxiety (that was not the reason they just wanted to get rid of me) Dr Patrick looked at me and said why are you in the emergency room for some anxiety with an attitude, mind you I'm still on this stretcher trying breathe normal and in pain so I couldn't get my words out so Dr Patrick asked me out loud in front of everyone You still smoke weed? I mean so loud other people heard him in there room like why are you reading things off my chart to everyone isn't that a hippa violation Dr Brennan Patrick Ellis? Shout out to the security team at the ER entrance. The nurses did an amazing job with my son but to see even non-medical staff be just as concerned with patient comfort is above and beyond. Someone buy that man a Gatorade and some lunch. read more

its been a tough year as my son died 10 2 2017 520 am emergency room. My son and i walked in emergency room i put him in wheelchair walked down to find help my son died in wheelchair from allergic reaction and never saw Dr till after he was gone when you get to office in emergency room behind glass window tell them you need help for my son could not breath due to swelling in throat when my son jumped out of chair from no longer getting any air nurse on duty hollered sir sit down 2 times he went to sit down collapsed in floor nurse hollered sir get up your not making anything any better. I hollered he cant breathe he got up and got in chair with no help at all from nurse poor nurse making wrong call on situation put his head down and died what kind of cold nurses do we attract in this area there was no help no compassion the Dr was no better. It has taken me a long time to say anything because you cant do anything he is gone now staff at emergency room were a uncaring poor collection of so called professionals who still work in this profession. Sad part is they get paid to make wrong calls on peoples lives had they of been part of a real team of emergency care workers they may of administered help of eppi pen instead of trying to be some type of dictator .The nurse on duty rolled my sons body into actual emergency room 2 attendants asked do you need some help answer from nurse i guess i do now. DR in er came rushing past my sons body to escort me out of er saying i had to leave opened door sent me out. What kind of Dr passes a emergency person in need of help? my son died with out any compassion or help from a nurse who is not fit to be in the medical field my son was not a piece of meat . He needed help which none was given maybe someone else can be saved from dying when you cant breathe its serious the hospital needs to be there for emergency room emergencies . there was 1 patient there that day many employees in nurses station talking about someone not in good mood because their dog died well my son died thats a little more serious . The hospital needs to come down, it does not meet the needs of the public maybe my son meant nothing to the nurse on duty that morning but he meant something to me. I say want to live? Dont go to Dorchester General Hospital. I live this experience every day. I nerver dreamed when my son and i entered the ER that he was going to die he didnt do drugs he had a allergic reaction. My hope is by coming foward with my story maybe someone else will be saved. Be aware when you enter ER dont assume your going to get help. Cambridge hospital is not there for you! These are the simple facts that happened that morning some man running around with clip board for me to sign after er realized they dropped the ball so they would not be liable.
