I have had termite preventative services with Bay Pest Control of Ocean Springs, MS since 2017. They did not send a reminder for my yearly spray. When I went to check on it a month later, they sent an associate out like it was a new request. I would have thought they would have a grace period. They are not honoring my years of service and want to start me over like a new customer. I have called them 3 times, to speak with a manager. I spoke with her the first time and she stated she would call me back the next day when she had the paperwork in hand. She did not. I tried again, two more times, with no luck. Selling our house, buyer hired this company. Man found "evidence" of termites, there was none. He wanted $200. We did not give it to him and he gave a poison pen review to buyers. About as bad as it gets in the pest control business. Used Bay for a commercial account and ended up dropping them. The tech that they sent out was very unprofessional and sloppy. Ended up calling them back four days after they sprayed after noticing brown banded roaches running around. After returning to spray again the tech made some smart ass remark about spraying everything the first time, wrong! Before signing a contract with any company make sure you ask around and get references. I applaud the owner of this company reaching out however no-one has attempted to contact me on Yelp. My name would not be on the account cause it was an account I managed. The tech that showed up was rushed and unprofessional had coke bottle glasses. They exterminated my house on Feb 9th, on Feb 12th I woke to find one of my dogs dead. I called them to inform them and tell them not to come to my house again and was told "well you are under contract now". On February 14th I had to have a second dog admitted to an ER hospital. I asked this company multiple times for MSDS, chemical list of what they put in my house and warning labels, their reply was to google it myself. They would not even fax the poison list to the vet when my dog was admitted. Instead of trying to find out what happened to my pets, they posted my vet bill with a lie that my dog had the flu, even though Bay Pest wrote my dogs true diagnosis at the top of the bill in ink after speaking to the vet. Instead of calling me, they prefer to communicate through their Facebook business page and Facebook messenger. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional business. We switched to Bay Pest from another company this summer, mostly because Bay Pest offered the prepaid all inclusive plan. Sugar ants apparently find our house irresistible, because we've seen them everywhere, in different locations. Each time I've contacted Bay Pest, the office staff have sent out a tech that day, or as soon as possible the next. The techs have offered practical advice on how to stop the ants from getting access, and they have thoroughly sprayed both house and grounds. The last tech, Tim, was really knowledgeable, and took his time spraying and covering every opening in the kitchen with ant trap. It's nice to know that, even though these tiny ants are relentless, the techs are even more so. read more
