i've called a dozen times, leaving proper messages, with absolutely no response. no follow-up, and no one ever picks up the phone. i have a referral from my doctor but they don't seem to care at all. maybe if they would ever respond to me so i can actually get the care i need, i'd have something good to say about them. read more

This is a good place. Each provider has specific strengths. The front office is polite and helpful. Insurance coverage varies.

I've now seen one psychologist, one psychiatrist here at Bay. Hadn't planned on two providers, but medication was recommended so that's where I'm at. Sadly that means I have to follow up and be booked with both providers (of course two bills). Providers are okay. The receptionist needs to go though. Rude, rude, rude! Doesn't matter if in person, or on the phone. It's always if as when you call in for something no matter what it may be (even making payments), you're a bother to her. Also don't bother her if she's visiting with a friend who stops by. She won't help you until she's done with her personal, non related work business. Quincy is her name, and she needs to go if you want clients to keep coming back. I likely will establish elsewhere and pay a new patient fee because she's that horrible. So if they can her, I'd assume that's whom the other Yelpers are talking about, they would get a 4. With her a .5. Not even a full 1. Sorry, but it's true! read more

I was charged $150 for a session that I never attended because of a confusing address situation (two counseling services at one address: of course I went to the wrong one), and an inadequate and unprofessional receptionist. I tried numerous times to speak with the therapist, Ms. Perez, and the office accountant to explain the circumstances but never received the courtesy of a call. If this is the way patients are treated, I'm glad I opted out of their services! Rude, heartless and cold. read more

DO NOT SEE DR LAURA PEREZ. I am self pay. I paid for my first appointment $150 and gave her a month to gather all my paperwork from previous doctors. On my second appointment, she had not collected a single piece of paperwork from ANY of my previous doctors, so I paid for a second appointment for no reason, ANOTHER $100. She also failed to refill anything she said she was going to. I feel like she took my money and did nothing for me. She wasted my time, and took my money. read more

Has the worse care. From day one, the psychiatrist was arrogant and rude to me for the first time of being diagnosed and coming up with a plan. I was already going through deep depression. After a few years with him he sent me a letter to dissolve his care with me and stated he's moving on to another area of expertise. I called the office some time later to finalize my account and the receptionist asked why I was leaving and I told her the doctor said he's moving on and she said no he's not. I had been coming here about 9 months. I saw Laura Perez. I've been seeing a therapist side by side, and therapy & psychiatry are very different. Laura was very to the point, factual, asked a lot of detailed questions without any warmth or kindness but I think it's because it's her job to find the facts to determine medication- that's what they're there for. She helped me find a great medication that works well for me and I appreciate that. As far as the atmosphere of this building, I hate it. The receptionists are cold and rude, and sometimes seem to have a hard time keeping paperwork and details straight, my copay was different every time no matter how many times I told them I had met my deductible, they could never get the billing right. I decided to have my own PCP take over my medication management so I wouldnt have to come back to this place. Laura was the only psych I've seen, so i have no opinion or experience on the others. read more

Dr. T saw my 16 year old daughter for depression. He was actually more harmful than helpful for her, and even said some things to her that were blatantly cruel. His medication management was lazy and she felt unwelcome and 'like a hassle' when she went. She tried talking to him about it but was brushed off. It's hard to find psych care for adolescents....but I would recommend an extended search instead of trusting this man with your child, especially if he or she is in a fragile state of mind. read more
