The new owners are rude I was spending abort 300 a month there and they always take my stuff out even if no one is waiting they told me they didn't know where stuff was until I said I was calling the police then all of a sudden my stuff appeared I. Came here last night for the first time with my daughter. I'm always hesitant about going to these types of places because I get sketchy vibes from some of them. I happened to forget my wallet at home and luckily they have card readers on half of the machines so I was able to use tap to pay on my phone. They have snacks and drinks and the ability to get laundry goods there. The owner even showed up while we were there because one of the older washers took another patrons money and they were able to refund it to her. They did some matenience and upkeep on some machines too. The only thing I would add here is more electrical outlets as my phone was dead and someone was using the one charger up front so I had to charge mine on a folding table on the side. I would also put the wifi password out since it said free wifi but there was no password listed anywhere inside. It's in a business plaza that has hair and some food spots too. I was able to use two of the mega load washers and one of the double load washers and then dried my clothes and my daughter's in two of the dryers. The restroom was also cleaned and stocked too. My "state of the art" machines broke down. After paying high price for cleaners to do wash/fold I went to a coin laundry for the first time in 8 years or so. I was dreading it. This place made it so easy, machines that take credit cards WONDERFUL. It's clean and attendant is friendly. read more

Expect most washers to be full of laundry and completed with wash yet they sit there over 10 to 15 minutes so others can't clean their laundry. At times even unclean clothes just sitting there for over half an hour without even wash cycle started. Staff doesn't care either. I've also had people harass me for money at this business for quarters or money. My most recent visit I waited over 30 minutes with over 5 washers done in a cycle and still they were sitting there in the size I needed there were none available. This happens on a regular basis. Definitely not going back. The male attendant is not friendly or helpful at all. I found a spot just minutes from here in a much better area and no sitting laundry. I don't expect someone to watch and take it out just after it's done but you're not at home. This isn't a lounge have courtesy for others around needing to clean their clothes.... read more

One thing Jacksonville lacks is laundry mats. I had a drive to one living in Belfort/Bowden area when my washer broke. After reading reviews about how clean this one was and the fact that they took APPLE PAY I was game. The machines were super fast and cleaned my clothes well. It's worth the drive. Be careful. I used my credit card in their machines and two days later was notified I was a victim of credit card fraud by use of a skimmer. This was the only place I had used my card before this happen. Potentially a coincide, or the lack of real security and constant loitering could have led to someone placing a skimmer on the credit card terminal. I tried to call just to give them a heads up but no one answers the phone, no name is on the voice mail (just dead air) and the voice mail is full. Just a little shady sounding. Be careful and know your surroundings if you chose this location. Be very careful. read more

A home renovation which led to my washer and dryer spending the last six weeks in my living room required me to use a laundromat to clean and dry my clothes. I tried several before I came to the bay shore laundromat on Atlantic Boulevard. I can highly recommend this laundromat. It is air-conditioned, it has free Wi-Fi, it has four mega-load machines along with many other washers of various sizes. I've been able to do all of my laundry in one machine for $5.75 each time I've come here. It has eight mega dryers and multiple smaller dryers. I've been able to dry all of my laundry in one dryer for about three dollars. The mega-dryer is 25 cents for eight minutes. It has a plentiful supply of rolling carts, some of them with bars to help you hang up your clothes as you pull them out of the dryer. There is a clean restroom for customers. There are also several vending machines-I haven't use the vending machines yet. Oh! Another thing I like about it is that the machines take credit cards or even Apple Pay. If you don't want to use a credit card, there is a coin machine. There are plenty of chairs - hard plastic/nothing fancy. Generally, I can do the entire weeks worth of laundry in about two hours. read more

It is such an inconvenience to have to leave your home to do laundry!! But I don't mind coming here to do my laundry. The facility is always clean, the machines work and are very reasonably priced, It's never been extremely congested when I come and the attendant who's on duty is polite. Just a little FYI I have noticed that the "older" dryers get hotter and give you more drying time than the newer ones. Oh, and they have free wifi, snack machines and a TV woohoo. read more

SO happy! My dryer broke and I had to get laundry done ASAP! This place is a hidden gem! I've never been to a laundry mat and was a little nervous but everything was so simple and they offer Apple/credit card payment on all of their machines so you don't have to worry about remembering change and if you do, they have a machine! It's clean, quiet, and only a few people here which I personally like. I can't stress enough how clean everything is! Which is so important when washing your clothes. The wait time on the machines is reasonable. There's such a variety of load sizes for the washers and dryers and I'll be back when I need to wash my bedding for sure! The prices are pretty good but I don't know what's standard and over all I'm really happy with my experience here and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, simple laundry mat experience! They even have a little vending machine that has travel size detergent and dryer sheets! This place is great! read more

This is the best laundromat Ive visited thus far in Jacksonville. Most of them are old, shoddy, dirty, and poorly maintained. Bay Shore Laundry is clean, bright, well-maintained, modern and the owners are very friendly. I drive by several laundromats, even by passing the one in the apartment complex I live just to experience a clean, safe and inviting environment that can be found here. I love the fact that Bay Shore has free wi-fi which is very important nowadays. Doing laundry is time consuming, and its is very timely and considerate that a laundromat has this convenience. The owners are awesome. I enjoy the conversation and the laughs when I visit. Even if I have no need to use a laundromat ever, I will definitely keep in touch with them. read more

This was one of the best washing experiences thus far. The owner Chuck is extremely nice, very helpful, and welcoming! After noticing my husband and I forgot our laundry detergent Chuck came to the rescue by providing us with detergent and fabric softening sheets when it was time for us to dry our clothing. There is free wi if and cable. Chuck was nice enough to offer changing the cable station so that my husband can watch one of his favorite shows. The washers and dryers are very efficient. The new dryers (small ones on the right side) completely dried our large king size comforters within 18 minutes ((no kidding)). We felt at home! I wrote a review a few months ago from my ex Leneal L page. I decided to come and write again on my own page! It has been months since the last time I came and washed at Bayshore due to my busy schedule. I must admit Im still pleased!!! I left my debit card on the large wash in the front, Chuck promptly tracked me down to return the card. I had a ton of clothes and during my drying process I left several items on the dryer. I called and left a message and Chuck called me back advising he still had the items and he also completely dried them. Chuck is awesome. He's truly a stand-up guy that cares for his customers. read more

awesome place ! very clean , free wifi , attendant on duty very nice and helpful to a first timer like me . mega, triple, double and single loaders range in price from 5.50 - 1.75 plenty on carts and folding tables. dryer 25cents for six minutes for smaller and 25 for four minutes for larger - pro tip i learned from attendant bring hangers to air dry some close so you dnt a lot of money on the dryers! over all first experience at coin laundry and its right up my poor college student ally ! lol read more

I believe It was a bra caught in the dry'r, the owner went and fixed it so not to destroy his machine and peraonally I dont blame him seeing how the machine cost more than her " peraonal clothes".. let's see sweetheart, yes what has this world come too? Oh yeah its called respect and thats what the owner was doing by fixing the problem since you were not in sight to be found to tell you about the problem.. if your clothes mean so much to you and are so very personal then do them at home in your own privacy where you won't have " creepy" people touching your things... sounds to me your a few colors short of a crayon box to me ;) .. Back to the main situation here. The owners of this buisness are amazing, kind, helpful and all around full of love and would help in anyway if you needed... the machines are amazing ive never had an issue with them.. its comfortable there, clean and you can meet some great people as well..
