I am so happy with the result! With the use of laser treatments, massage, stim and exercises, Jim has helped me tremendously. I am now able to lift small weights without pain, lift heavier groceries and exercise without causing neck and shoulder spasms. I'm now on the path to better health. Jim is an experienced professional who is also smart, kind, comforting and helpful. My visits were about an hour long and staff were always attentive, friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend Jim O'Brien, DPT and Harmeling Physical Therapy in Danvers.

I was asked questions, they did simple tests including watching my gait as I walked. I was given a few extremely simple exercises for my core, none for my glute. I did the exercises and didn't see any improvement after 10 days. I went online to WebMD and found exercises to build strength in my glutes that took amount 10 minutes a day. After a week, I could get into my car and climb stairs more easily. The side benefit is my balance is better. The cost for the one visit was $315.00. I expected more. FYI about a decade ago I had a back issue, instead of going to a P.T. I went to well qualified Personal Trainer who worked with me and helped me to strengthen my back. In the future I will go to a personal trainer at a gym. $315 would have gotten me 6 sessions.

He was still waiting and the call bell was still ringing! There was many days when no rehab PT or OT would show up. He would go to group exercises classes but he was not independent in movement both lower extremities ! The head nurse was nice, the greeters were friendly. The Dr assist was kind and good. His muscles were breaking down from non mobility. ( he's in his 80's) He was sent to a rehabilitation facility for PT , rest and what have you . It didn't go well ! He ended up signing himself out' because the care wasn't very good . Needless to say he ended up back in the hospital. The hospital recommended that he go to a rehabilitation facility for Physical Therapy and care . He refused to go back to the previous facility. Thankfully he didn't !!!!!! He was sent to a place called Hathrone Hill in Danvers Ma . If I could give this facility 10 Stars I would! From the first time I went to visit to the day he was released, I was impressed! You are greeted by friendly and informative staff. They show you how to check in and give directions to the room . As my husband and I went to the elevator we noticed how clean everything was. We also noticed the PT areas and activity areas were also very well maintained. We made over way to our friend room and dinner was being served. OMG ! It looked , smelt and from what he said , tasted delicious. ( the other facility's food wasn't even close to being that good ). I don't think it's appropriate to name them as I don't write bad reviews. Hathrone Hill is worth writing about. I think it's hard enough to see a family or friend going through medical issues. So having a place you feel comfortable with is a major stress relief ! I waited until my friend was released to write this because truthfully I was ready to write this review from day one ! I waited until he was released because I felt that I needed to write a review of this importants , that was not just the first impression but also the last! Hats off to everyone involved in the process and care of the patients in your facility. God bless you all

From the very first visit--which began with an in-depth and thoughtful assessment--I was thoroughly impressed. After just nine sessions, Dr. Labell had him running again and equipped him with a lasting foundation of exercises and stretches that will benefit him for years to come. Dr. Labell truly sees the big picture and is genuinely invested in his patients' physical and mental well-being. The clinic itself is exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and filled with a positive, motivating energy from everyone working toward their recovery goals. I'm extremely grateful he was recommended to us and can't recommend him highly enough.

Every single time Bryan has steered me in the right direction. When I go to a PT, I want guidance to diagnost my issue and help to get me better. This is exactly what they do. If you want a "shoulder to cry on" or if you want a place to see you every week and milk your workman's comp, this is not your place. They will give you the tools to avoid surgery and get healed, but you are responsible for doing the work. If you do what they recommend, you'll get better. Simple as that. If you don't, you won't (and will likely end up on a surgery table somewhere). Go there open-minded. Listen. Do the work. Get better.
