I have been working out for a very long time and have to say DiHard is the best! Every instructor…read moreis phenomenal and Diane (the owner) puts her heart and soul into make DiHard a home for people of all fitness levels. You will not find a more welcoming gym with kick-ass workouts. Do not miss out on this place!!!

DiHard is an AWESOME gym/studio for a plethora of reasons:…read more - I call it a studio because you don't HAVE to be a "member" to work out here. You can drop in to certain classes and buy blocks of passes - A few times per year, those class blocks are heavily discounted, like 20 for $100. That's right -- classes get as low as $5 per! - First class free! - Something for everyone, and at every fitness level. Bootcamp, spin, barre, drum core (yes, that's real), TRX, boxing, Zumba, core, cardio... you name it, DiHard has a class for it! - A *true* no judgement zone. We work out, we sing along with the radio, dance, laugh, cheer each other on, lay on the floor and refuse to get up, or none of the above. Or all of the above! DiHard quickly becomes a community to anyone who goes. - There's a Facebook group. It's like a free 24/7 accountability coach and motivator. - There are fun competitions, like Biggest Loser, events, like the charity spin ride, and packages available throughout the year - The owner, Diane, looks like she's 28. She's not... but the proof is in the pudding my friends! I would go here just so I can look like Diane! - Beyond her Benjamin-Button-esque qualities, Di is a super engaged, supportive, and interactive owner. She asks for feedback on the class schedule, she communicates with "members" (for lack of a better term) daily and takes a ton of pride in her business. What else do you need to know... it's on the MindBody app, cash or check only, there are mats, free weights, bands, and basically everything you need there, and don't wear your outdoor shoes inside during the winter (wear boots, carry sneakers). That's it!! See ya there ;*)

There's a reason Lift Positive won Best Personal Training for 2020!…read more Rob, the owner, is absolutely fantastic. He really takes the time to get to know you, and creates a personalized training plan to catapult you toward your goals. As an engineer, I love how the system is structured such that your workout is quantifiable and it's easy to track progress. As a busy working human, I really feel like I'm maximizing my time and getting the best workout each hour-long session. I really like the concept of semi-personal training because let's be honest, you don't really need someone staring at you watching you do reps for 3600 seconds straight. Having a few other people there (up to 4 total per session) helps build a sense of community while still providing the attention and guidance you need. As someone who had been on and off the workout train for a bit, I've dealt with gymtimidation at a lot of other gyms, but not this one. The name rings true as this is definitely the most positive and friendly gym environment I've been in! I've never once felt judged here, not even for my weird taste in music. What I value about this personal training experience is that Rob is so encouraging, he makes you want to do better for yourself. I've hit a lot of personal records here, and I've lifted weights that I didn't think I could. At the same time, he will never make you do something that you're not comfortable with. If ever I feel like an exercise wasn't working my body quite right, Rob gives me pointers as to how to adjust the exercise to my body. He's also full of nutrition tips--a one-stop shop for holistic life advice! After just a couple weeks I feel much stronger than when I first started, and I'm equipped with new knowledge and exercises. Maybe most importantly, this experience gives me a new sense of (and appreciation for) discipline which is sure to help me maintain my forward momentum and reach my goals. Also, Rob has a dog named Rufus who hangs around sometimes and is super affectionate and fun. I probably should have just led with that.

When I walk into most gyms, I immediately become overwhelmed and feel generally, pretty out of…read moreplace. At Lift Positive Fitness I actually feel comfortable and cared about. There is a community here that I didn't know was possible to have at a gym. This place has strength training, weights, fitness classes, and some semi-private personal training. I have been super impressed with the owner, Rob. I have followed him here, after following him through multiple places he has worked at before opening up this place. Over the past 7 years, Rob has been the most dedicated trainer and human being I have ever met. From making me run with the treadmill OFF for 30sec intervals, to more Farmer's Walks than I thought were humanly possible, to getting me to the point where I could do more pull-ups than half the guys that walked by me(and yes, they were obviously unassisted). He made me realize that I was strong, and powerful, and he actually kept me motivated. I have completely fallen off my game the past 3 years, and I cannot wait to get back at it. When he opened this joint up-I RAN my butt in there...and you should too. I have limitations at the moment due to some spine stuff, but Rob is going to work with me as soon as I get restrictions from my PT's and doctors. He will meet you where you are at. If you want to go to a subpar gym and give yourself a pat on the back for going on the treadmill for 30min-be my guest-I've been that chick and it doesn't feel good. If you want to feel like you just kicked a**, then check this place out. I ASSURE YOU- you will not be disappointed.
