I was very pleased with my experience at their facility. Bonnie is a great ambassador and the initial client contact person for Complete Game PT. Her friendly and informative manner made me feel comfortable from day #1. She was always pleasant, responsive and helpful. Andy was my primary therapist, but I have also had the pleasure to work with Greg as well. I found them both to be extremely knowledgeable about the body, my injury and what exercises and processes were needed to get me back in action. The professional, calm and patient demeanor they both present was both comforting and reassuring to me as a patient. After 5 weeks, I had gained most of my range of motion back and the pain had been reduced by about 80-85%. Andy developed a regiment of specific exercises and stretches for me to continue with after my last visit to continue my progress. The rest is up to me. Most of my experience over the years is with Al Visnick but I've also seen Judy & Todd who are fantastic too. Most recently they weren't under my insurance but I went there out of pocket anyway because I don't trust anyone but Al Visnick to work on my spine. I have chronic issues with my spine and neck, exacerbated by my profession. Among his many talents, Al is an expert on the spine. Not only did he completely adjust my thoracic spine and neck to be better than ever, but he trained me to change my working environment and setup as well as my postural habits to the point where my chronic pain has essentially disappeared so long as I follow his advice. And because of the great work he did on my neck and spine, along with the simple at-home exercises he taught me to maintain it, I am able to very quickly get back to being pain free if I ever slip back into old habits. He's taught me to manage this essential part of my life so that I can work longer and more productively without any pain. I am forever grateful to him for this as I'd not be able to do my job without it. In addition to Al being a miracle worker, there's Todd, who is meticulous and amazing. My husband went to him for his chronic back issues. He used to regularly throw his back out and suffer a lot each time, but not only did Todd fix it every time, he taught my husband how to avoid re-injuring himself, as well as how to do maintenance and recovery exercises and stretched at home to the point that my husband hasn't had to go in for many years now. I've also gone to Judy a few times and find her extremely helpful not just for the physical therapy but also for her attentiveness, the questions she asks, and the incredible advice she gives. The exercises and stretches I was prescribed were effective and got me back to health quickly. The PTs were very perceptive and picked up important clues to my problems that I couldn't see. Michael was especially good at this. The equipment - balls, weights, machines, tables, etcetera - was all clean and well maintained. The main room is pleasant to be in with lots of natural light. Thought it was just for 6 weeks, I was assigned 3 different therapists, each handling me for not more than 2 weeks because the first two were leaving the practice and they couldn't accommodate me otherwise. So, I was put through 3 different treatment styles and exercises at the end of all of which I made ZERO progress with my condition. In fact on the contrary the condition worsened, which according to the orthopaedic specialist was because of some of the exercises that had been recommended. Filing a poor service complaint with the insurance company proved useless since they didn't share any specifics of the follow-up they did with Emerson other than stating that they weren't happy with their service. Very disappointing!

I had a bad skiing accident where I could not put a shirt on or turn the steering wheel left. First, I went to another national known PT place and they did a very good job. A few months later, I had stabbing electrical pains shooting down my left arm. I went to the doctor. The X-rays showed disk compression on 4 neck vertebrae, and I think C6-C7 area was the one pinching down on my nerve. This was the one that was effecting my tricep area in my left arm. So, I was given another prescribtion to go to PT. I was like how is another PT session going to cure a nerve issue? I knew I needed something above and beyond what the national chain offered and found ProRehab. What convinced me to go was that they stated on their website that they specialized in shoulder injuries and someone had written a solid review specifically on their shoulder...I was sold. After a thorough investigation with George at ProRehab, he felt it was not being caused by pinching in my neck area but rather the nerve was getting pinched in the shoulder area due to poor posture from sitting at my desk on the PC all day. He was confident that he would be able to solve the nerve issue within time for my "graduation" in two months. That kind of made me chuckle and I thought no way. Sure enough, wow!!! I feel like I have a new left shoulder. What made the difference for me to be so impressed with ProRehab, over that of the National PT chain? 1. The use of electro stimulation. 2. The deep muscle message after the elctro stimulation 3. The specialized equipment that isolates the shoulder muscles. You don't get these at the national PT chains. Period. My first complaint is that when I got the invoice, I called with a billingquestion. I called on October 16th and they did not get back to me until October 23rd. The concerns I wanted to discuss were regarding my 2nd & 3rd appointments. I was billed significantly higher for the first appointment, which totally made sense because it was an evaluation. The other 2 appointments were not billed the same yet they were identical appointments. I was there for 1 hour and they put ice on my neck/back, they massaged it and they watched me do my exercises. The woman in billing (she was nice) said the notes stated that at one of the appointments it took me a few minutes longer to complete my exercises. I find this so sleezy. SO SLEEZY!!!! I was there for 1hr, no longer. Whether it took 18 or 22 minutes for the exercises, I was still there for 1 hour. They end with the massage so clearly that was cut short in order to get me out of there within 60 minutes. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. I could never trust them as far as billing goes. Make sure to review yours closely.

Since 2019, I've had several procedures to alleviate the pain of osteoarthritis. First, a left rotator cuff repair then, in the fall, a left knee replacement, by Dr. Scott Sigman. High praise for him and his team. I had minimal post op pain and was walking the day of surgery. Several years later I had the pleasure of bilateral hip replacements, 1 yr apart, by Dr. Stephen Designa. Again, minimal post op discomfort and, with physical therapy, return to normal with no more pain. And such tiny incisions--I can barely see them! Thank you and bless you, Dr. Designa. Now, in 2026 I'm back for more magic, seeing Dr. Howard Wu for bilateral shoulder arthritis . He is urging me to have the surgeries, first the left which is giving me the most discomfort and limited range of motion, then, after a time, the right. But, since I'm elderly and also caring for my disabled husband, I've been putting it off. He's right,of course, I need them ,and I'm not afraid but he listens to me and, I think, understands. It's comforting to know that, when I'm ready, he'll do his best to give me real golden years. We baby boomers are lucky. Modern technology and talented surgeons. Dr. Steven Alter never denied my requests for out-of-work notes, and I appreciate that. I did not…read morehave surgery with him, so I can't comment on his surgical skills or outcomes. From my experience, I felt his bedside manner could be better. I often left feeling like my injury and concerns were being minimized and that I wasn't being fully heard. My impression is that he has a very direct, surgeon-focused approach, which may work well for some patients but wasn't the best fit for me. I can't say he's a bad doctor. However, beyond providing me with time off from work, I don't feel much was done to fully evaluate all of my complaints. For example, I never received comprehensive strength testing for the various issues I reported. One thing that also concerned me was that the office seemed to use a standard template in the medical notes. Some of the statements about my care did not accurately reflect what occurred during my visits, which I found frustrating. I've also spoken with three other people who were not particularly happy with their experiences when I mentioned Dr. Alter. Of course, that's anecdotal, and it doesn't mean he isn't an excellent surgeon. This review is simply my personal experience as a patient. I will say Amanda the medical receptionist was great, every request I asked for, she promptly responded to me with the information I needed.
