I have dealt with chronic pain including myofascial pain & a connective tissue disorder, among other symptoms & accidents, for over 13 years now. I was going to another location that completely(!) dropped the ball, and did not provide the level of care & support needed for a more complex case, or even a basic one. I was lucky enough to get into Mike's schedule again, and even the hour drive there, and back, is completely worth it. I'd rather drive an hour to and from Chelmsford twice a week to receive quality care that I know will help me get stronger & manage my symptoms, rather than drive 5 minutes to a place that honestly made me hopeless (again) and feel like I was never going to get better, and that they did not care in the least. The experience here with this team is nothing short of extraordinary. They also will help with providing any resistance bands you need for home exercises without giving you a hard time about "what insurance covers." They provide cupping, dry needling, etc. and are flexible with allowing you to use the space for your exercises as long as you need. Mike has an extensive education in sports medicine and how the body actually works from an experienced perspective, not just from reading books exclusively. He has a very hands-on approach, which is necessary for certain ailments to be able to handle certain exercises. He's said he has had the same training as any other physical therapist, so it goes to show that other pts at other locations don't apply what they learned in school. Any question you have about your body, or exercises to do or not do, he has the answer based on your personal situation. Not only that, I've worked with others at this location who are trained with Mike so you're in good hands no matter who you see here, or at their location in Billerica. Special shoutout to Lisa, Caroline, Snowy, Dante, & Bella who've all been super helpful & supportive. Caroline & Snowy have been helping me with dry needling, and they are extremely caring and compassionate. Lisa is an absolute angel at the front desk. If you want to be taken seriously and given the opportunity for real results that improve your daily life, this is the place to go. I would put anything on it. When your feeling down and disappointed with what happening to your body, she has a way of making you feel better. I had a fracture of my knee and was in rehab (which was useless, all I got from them was pain medicine I finally discharge myself and made an appointment with Michelle. After 3 months in a wheelchair I had enough of the run around with people not listening me. Michelle told me she would have me out of the wheelchair within a month. She had me out of the chair in three weeks. She built up my muscles in my legs to get me ready for surgery. I had the surgery to replace my knee. Started therapy and she said I would get rid of the walker in 4 to 6 weeks. Because of all the work she put me threw before the surgery I was walking without the walker in about two weeks. My loved one went here for…read morerehab after having surgery. he was transported there on a Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm , the place was like a ghost town. .he sat all weekend in a chair , He was not checked in that day as almost everyone had left for the weekend. He was completely neglected , when he rang for to get out of bed no one answered, he had to go the rest room , no one answered the bell , it took a long time for someone to come, he was a fall risk and was not hooked up to a bell to go off of her got up, was suppose to have compression for blood flow after surgery it was not done for days, special diet was told and he received a glazed donut with syrup , dinner was often at 6- 7pm and was awful , the food is terrible looks very scary, the hall carpet was filthy , ( had to buy food ) room was not cleaned, his water never filled, he was never checked on, they drawer blood and left the blood bandage and items they used in the counter, never changed his clothes, never washed him unless I asked. never checked on, employees sit at thedesk , the staff is very loud talking in the halls day and night , Covid was there and we were not told , a lady in isolation was two doors from my father, scary scary place. I discharged my father early and brought him home with me. please be careful , this is no longer the place your parents rememeber.Sad to say.

I found Fyzical by the suggestion of my at home Physical Therapist after my first operation and I have continued with Maitul Patel at Fyzical in Chelmsford through the three surgeries. I have no doubt where I should go for the shoulder PT. My recovery has been accelerated through the process with good guidance from Dr Patel who pushed me to achieve the new strengths and ability to walk smoothly and successfully without pain after many years.
