Again, 2 kids came out, changed out bottom peephole, used a ton of caulking and actually took the liberty to cut the wood out in odd little squares. I have been trying to get them back to fix the mess for weeks. The guy I have talked to is arrogant and condescending. Such a bad experience with Homestar, Milgards windows are great, Homestar installation, etc is not. I needed blinds for a rental unit I own and the staff had me measure for them. They did not inform me that measuring at top, middle and bottom was proper protocol and they went with my measurement that was taken at the bottom. When the blinds came for installation, they did not fit. They told me that if I wanted to get blinds that fit, I had to reorder and the blinds that were too large were mine to keep. They said cutting the blinds to fit would void the warranty. Given what they charged for their product, I was less than satisfied and would NEVER go back. They also charged me for a repair that did not work at all. Use someone else for your window treatments.
