I work in the medical industry so am very particular about where I go to be treated, and this location passed with flying colors. The location is new but the business is not. The owner has a few other locations in Michigan. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Mark, who I later found out was one of the owners, and Jeremy one of the nurses. Both were incredibly kind and explained their options to me. Once I had completed my paperwork Jeremy took me back to start my iv. He did it seamlessly. After my iv was in Jeremy walked with me as I selected a room to relax in. There were multiple to choose from. I opted for the front room which was bright and welcoming. The couches were comfy and I there was a television for me to watch if I wanted. After I was settled Jeremy hooked my fluids up and I was running. During the infusion Mark and Jeremy checked in on me to make sure I was doing ok. They were beyond amazing!!! I highly recommend this place for all hydration/vitamin needs. They even offer NAD infusions which are truly life changing!!!! I wish I lived closer because this place would be a monthly stop for me. I can't say enough great stuff things it. Their sonographers…read moretravel around the country to perform breast ultrasounds, and then radiologists read the images. I have dense tissue that can obscure growths in mammograms, so I felt interested in doing this ultrasound. In early January I scheduled an appointment for one of their sonographers to do an ultrasound for me in March. The exact location was communicated to me later, and it was a hotel's meeting room. The cost would be about $300, which I would pay with an HSA, credit, or debit card at the time of service. On the day of my appointment, HerScan emailed me four forms for me to complete online. When I arrived at the hotel's meeting room, the sonographer started the appointment on time. She had experience working in hospitals, and she interacted very nicely and professionally with me. I am a Registered Nurse, and from what I know, she seemed to perform the ultrasound correctly. Eight days later, HerScan emailed the results to me. The results said that I was Category 4, the highest category, because they found abnormalities of cysts and a lymph node without a fatty hilum. They recommended a follow-up mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. the results did say, "In most cases, follow-up imaging does not result in a cancer diagnosis." I shared these results with my OBGYN provider, and she told me to schedule the diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. I asked HerScan to electronically send the images to my chosen imaging facility, and they promptly did so through PowerShare software. Almost two months later, my chosen sonographer and radiologist did my diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. The radiologist said that I have many cysts and slightly enlarged lymph nodes (NOT without a fatty hilum) that are likely benign and that I should return for another ultrasound in six months. Now I have peace of mind.

Highly Unreliable Service - Caused Significant Emotional Distress and Unnecessary Expense…read more Her Scan = Her Scam. My first red flag was seeing their advertisement on Instagram... I unfortunately fell for it and booked an appointment. My second red flag came when I arrived and discovered the scan was being conducted in a hotel conference room. Although the space was nicely arranged and the two staff members were pleasant, it did not feel like a professional medical environment compared to a hospital or established radiology facility. I proceeded with the breast ultrasound and was extremely disappointed with the service. After 7-10 days, the report returned a Category 4 "suspicious mass" classification that caused me severe emotional distress. When I received the alarming results, I immediately called Her Scan customer service for clarification. Their response was standoffish and completely unhelpful. They stated they could not answer my questions or explain the meaning of the findings and simply told me to speak with my doctor. There was no "I'm sorry you're going through this" or any sense of support. A robot would have been more compassionate. This lack of empathy left me even more confused and intensified my anxiety during an already stressful time. Fortunately, I sought prompt follow-up care through my established medical providers. THE HER SCAN RESULTS CONFUSED MY DOCTOR! So I had both the diagnostic mammogram and subsequent ultrasound revealed the finding was benign and cystic in nature... a clear contradiction of Her Scan's initial assessment. My physicians expressed concern over the accuracy of the Her Scan report and were unfamiliar with this company. LADIES, UNDERSTAND THAT DOCTORS DO NOT RECOGNIZE HER-SCAN!! IF YOUR DOCTOR DIDN'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, THEN DON'T DO IT!!! YOUR DOCTOR WILL JUST RE-ORDER AN ULTRASOUND AND MAMMOGRAM!! HER-SCAN IMAGES ARE POOR QUALITY!! -- COSTING YOU HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!! The inaccurate and alarmist results led to hundreds of dollars in avoidable medical expenses and weeks of unnecessary anxiety. Shame on Her Scan for being so predatory toward women. What a shame that this company, owned by a private equity firm, clearly doesn't care about women's well-being and only scares us further for profit. I am formally requesting a full refund to compensate for the emotional distress and financial burden caused by their error. To all women considering this service: I strongly advise against using Her Scan. Schedule your regular mammogram and screenings with a reputable medical facility instead. Their reports create confusion with your regular practitioners, trigger unnecessary additional testing and costs, and are not widely recognized or trusted by most physicians. This experience only added stress and expense without providing any reliable value. Her Scan failed to deliver accurate results or meaningful customer support and fell far short of acceptable standards for breast imaging services. If you have extra money to spare, enjoy experimenting on yourself, and would like to ride an unnecessary emotional roller coaster, then by all means go to Her Scan/scam. I will not be returning and strongly caution other women to seek care elsewhere.
