They had so many really special items in every price range. I am told, that her specialty, is the rugs. All hand made. Since I would have trouble getting one on a plane back home, I had to skip that. But, they are lovely. Brought some very cool keepsakes at a fair and affordable price. Could not be happier!

While their online store may not be the easiest to use or search, it's packed full of gorgeous art, cards, and prints. We spent a little while scrolling through their offerings and decided on two beautiful prints to send to the mamas- one in Kansas, and one in southeastern MN. We ordered super early, figuring that there'd be a delay, but no- I got a personalized email from the Siiviis crew the same day, letting me know that the prints would be going out way ahead of schedule. Way to make Amazon look like slackers, folks! Plus: they gift-wrapped them! For free! And they're a local business! She had many great tidbits and stories. She helped us plan a day trip even from here to Bayfield. All of Sue's recommendation made it one of the best trips! We even saw a calf born when we were there and Sue took us out to watch. This place is truly fascinating and worth a stop. Also, the gallery is free! Totally worth it!

The artist I met was quite the character and I had a memorable experience picking out a beautiful glass sculpture. It was impressive the sheer amount there was on display - and being hand-blown means each piece is unique. I also appreciated there were plenty of smaller items for us tourist travelers to easily be able to pack and take home. Did I mention how affordable some of the pieces were? I couldn't believe it! Oulu is a gem of a gallery.
