Great Experiences! We have been seeing Dr. Sakhi for 5 years now. My son has a rare genetic…read moredisorder and Dr. Sakhi was the first dentist he allowed to look inside his mouth and clean his teeth. Since he struggles with severe anxiety, he has to be sedated for cavity procedures. This was the second procedure he needed to have and doing it in the office was preferred all around for ease, timeliness and cost. The entire staff was professional, demonstrated compassion, kindness, and encouragement. The anesthesiologists from Dream were superior. Everyone communicated the process and after care thoroughly with follow up calls and texts to ensure he was well. On a side note, as I read the other reviews, especially the negative ones, I struggle to accept their opinion of this dental office. This dental office is out of network for us and possibly for a lot of people which will lead to higher prices. And you know your child best and need to be advocate for them, so if Dr. Sakhi's practice isn't the right fit for your family, that's okay. However, we believe our son receives the best care for his type of disability and I believe Dr. Sakhi can pride herself on taking care of children like my son who cannot and will not have care in a "regular" dental office. At one time, when Dr. Sakhi didn't think she could help us, she referred us out, this is not poor care but rather the opposite, it's caring enough about your patient to ensure they get the best possible care. And when we needed to postpone his procedure due to insurance issues, they worked with us and continued to monitor my son's dental health. They didn't pressure us, they waited until we were ready and for that I am grateful. Thank you Tooth and Co!

Preferably someone who doesn't run their practice like a shady car dealer trying to upsell you on accessories you don't need. We had been referred here by our dentist because our 3 year old daughter needed a small filling in her baby tooth. First off, I was told that at least two appointments would be required - one for our child to be examined and then a second appointment for the filling. For a simple filling, mind you. At the first appointment they basically confirmed what we already knew - our daughter had a small cavity in a baby tooth. Then it got interesting. We were told that she would need to be administered a general anesthetic and put under for a few hours while the doctor worked. This was supposedly to eliminate the possibility that the child might react negatively, i.e. cry, whine, etc. and thereby prolong the procedure. Doctor knows best, right?! I suspect the doctor has figured out that by scaring young parents with stories of teeth gone bad she can charge exorbitant fees for anesthesia, surgery prep, and other unnecessary treatments. Suffice it say that we balked at putting our 3 year old daughter under a general anesthetic for several thousands of dollars and possibly risking serious health consequences. After a few phone calls, we found another dentist who filled the BABY TOOTH cavity for a little over $100 and without any anesthetic whatsoever. Just a little calm talking and joking around for a few minutes to make her comfortable.

Such a great dental practice for our boys, we don't mind the drive!…read more We were referred here when our current family dentist found a cavity in our 4 year olds tooth. They tried to fill it, but he had anxiety...enter the least stressful dental experience ever. First, let's talk about booking...super easy and friendly ensuring they accounted for all of my son's needs. All paperwork was sent ahead of time for me to fill out. Now the space, it's friendly and bright and welcoming. Each chair has a tv for kids to pick their movie. The dentist and staff explain everything clearly to the kids to ensure they are ready. They take their time. Bonus: they requested costumes as our appointment was close to Halloween, so fun!!

Such a nice dental office tailored towards kids. Wonderful customer service from check in to check out. The front desk girl was so nice and welcoming and very friendly and helpful in explaining first visits and what to expect. The lobby is nice and inviting for the kids with TV's interactive wall pads and books and learning games. Our hygienist was so nice and great in explaining everything to our little one and what to expect. He was so good and cooperative. Surprised both me and Nana. They have a movie to help distract the kids and explain and show everything they are going to do before they do it. The only thing I questioned a little was putting the cleaner head on my kids hand and then in his mouth. I thought she would swap out the cleaner, but not so. Not a biggie, and maybe I'm just a germo-phobe. Dentist was great. So friendly and so gentle with our toddler. Explained things well and very nice. Absolutely so glad we chose this place and they have other locations.

We were referred to Camp Smiles after moving to Minnesota. Our initial interactions with the…read moredentists were fantastic. But as the kids got older, something shifted and I did not feel the dentists (or billing) cared about their patients. What pushed me to write this was that my daughter had a tooth that wouldn't come out. So we made an appointment to have it taken out. Our regular dentist wasn't available so we saw Dr. Bobbi. Dr. Bobbi was so disrespectful to my daughter who is 12 years old. Not only did she put down my daughter's feeling about wanting the tooth out (Dr. Bobbi told her to just wiggle it out, which she had been trying since Nov. and my daughter was sick of it and wanted it out), she also told her she shouldn't be allowed to brush her teeth by herself because she had plague near her gums on the side of her mouth where her loose tooth was. My daughter cried in the car after feeling like a baby because of how the Dr. spoke with her. We just recently got the bill and found out from the bill that Camp Smiles isn't in network for us anymore. When we went for the visit, they took our insurance card and didn't tell us that MetLife is out of network, after asking if our insurance is still in network. This just was upsetting because companies like Camp Smilies should know what insurance companies are in-network and if they had questions to check before the appointment, since I specifically asked. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Coming straight from your billing departments, you do not offer estimates as you don't have access to all insurance billing plans. Please don't share information that isn't accurate regarding billing. We also had issues with their billing when my son turned 12 years old. They billed our insurance as an adult. Our insurance wouldn't pay for his cleaning because he was 12 and wasn't covered as an adult. There was a lot of back and forth, which Camp Smiles said was in their policy to charge for a full adult cleaning for a 12 year old, but I was never sent that policy after asking multiple times. My recommendation is to find a different pediatric dentist. This one will just give you headaches with billing if you have children older than toddler. And do not see Dr. Bobbi. I don't feel like she should be a pediatric dentist with her "chair side" manner.

The two locations are only about 12 minutes apart, and it's an easy mistake to make. Unfortunately, I was told there is a strict 10-minute grace period and that I would need to reschedule. I understand policies exist, but a little flexibility or understanding in situations like this would go a long way--especially when the locations are so close and confusion between them is probably pretty common. Just something to keep in mind for future customers.

ATTENTION parents with kids that have disabilities: This place may seem good but if your child has…read moreany type of issues such as anxiety, do not bring them here. This place has no ability to handle a child who is scared. They are pushy and have no feedback to help in that type of situation. They will just give up and tell you to come back later. The workers have a very short fuse for these kids and are very rude and when your child leaves they will feel defeated like they are somehow bad. They want to get people in and out as fast as possible with no deviations from THEIR schedule regardless of the situation. I understand that people have appointments but if you claim to be able to handle kids you should have protocols and plan ahead and allow more time for the appointment when you know the child is scared coming into the appointment as they have met him and worked on him previously. Since we have 0 services rendered we will be attempting to not pay for any of this along with the LOAN we took out with their lender to get the work started. Honestly, if you are claiming to be a place for kids then freaking act like it. Not all kids are the same. We are so upset right now and will never return here and do everything in our power to help others avoid this place like the plague. P.S. Think about changing the name of your business.

I had taken my…read moredaughter here a few times before, and had an appointment set for her this March that I had made 6 months ago. The office called and put up a fuss about our insurance, then a week later I got a call saying they canceled my daughter's appointment because they didn't like her insurance. They called and canceled only 4 days before her appointment. Imagining discriminating against a 5 year old, and denying her dental care simply because her insurance changed. We still had a valid insurance, they just care more about profits over people. Obviously, client loyalty means nothing to them. I would never recommend this dentistry to anyone and will be letting all the moms in my friend circles and beyond know about our terrible experience.
