Today I went and had a deep clean done , half of it anyways, and overall very happy with the level of service I've received. They clearly go through my invoices and it's clear outline on what is out of pocket vs covered(estimates). I was not seen because I was on time, but took me 8 minutes to find the office building, as it was in a large complex. I waited in line for two minutes, as the front desk was busy talking on the phone not checking me in. They rescheduled me at the office. Called me back within 30 minutes and told me they double booked me and made a mistake. I just called a month later and they said they are refusing me care. Even though they tried to reschedule. This is a scam. Do not waist your time. They told me to find somewhere else, that they will not see me. All because if was a few minutes late, for a squeeze in appointment to fill the hole in my tooth. read more

Had a great experience with Dr. Geisler and the whole office staff. I came in as a new patient after just moving to the area. The office staff was very warm and friendly. Dr Geisler took the time to ask questions and get to know me in her office even before sitting down in the dental chair. The dental assistant was nice also and offering suggestions to try to make the x-rays as painless as possible. The only complaint I have was that there was not enough time to get my exam and cleaning done in the appointment scheduled so I have to return a month later (next available after work appointment) for the cleaning part. My son had his tongue tie released by Dr. Geisler. She was very kind and caring! We just went in for his follow-up and everything is healing great. One of her assistants checked him out and was cheerful and helpful as well. I brought my 2 and a half year old along and the staff even helped keep him entertained. This was the best dentist experience of my life! I was in town on business and had an emergency - so used Yelp to find this place. Dr. Geiser was courteous, professional and changed a filling for me quickly and painlessly. Her assistant, Tracy, was friendly and upbeat. Do NOT go here. Dr is OFF her rocker! She is obsessed with mouth breathing, and will have you tape your mouth shut at night to breathe through your nose (go buy this tape, and go buy these nose spreaders on Amazon; I swear she gets a kickback). When I did not do this, her reaction was beyond unprofessional! She spoke of getting rid of my kittens!! I had never heard of a "deep cleaning" until this place. This is NOT a necessary procedure, and you do NOT need it!! It's expensive, they use local anesthetic and it is completely not needed! She had me do a sleep "study" before she would make me a mouth guard for my clenching. Then after that, she still would not do it since I did not tape my mouth shut! I paid for them to take measurements and get everything ready to get that guard. She then wanted to fix a lip tie on my infant niece ...so many adults have lip and tongue ties, I can't believe they would suggest cosmetic surgery for a baby! Then when my father refused to get x-rays again, as they did them earlier that same year (he goes every 6 months) they wanted him to sign a liability waiver saying if he got any cavities after the appointment, that they would not be at fault! They want your money. They will sell you procedures and products that you do NOT need. I asked an MD (adult and pediatric MD) about all this and she was amazed. Please, RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I tried to work with this dentist, but it was a failed journey. She does not understand dental anxiety nor does she do anything to help. She does not even like to use novacaine unless it was a major procedure. She wanted to finish an implant for me without any numbing at all. (Removing post and placing crown.) She does not use nitrous because she thinks the gas also affects her. She wears a mask but says nitrous "escapes" and bothers her during a procedure. Kind of selfish. I felt tIme and time again she was more concerned about herself than her patients. My husband and I repeatedly brought issues up and were laughed at or ignored. I recently had to find a different dentist as I had an emergency with a crown and Geisler was not available (out of the country). It has been two weeks since I called and her office still has not called to get me in to check on that tooth. I'm finding now that many of the issues she pointed out during my exams do not have to be fixed with the most extreme measures or most costly procedures that she was recommending. She does not seem to understand $$$ that we all don't have her cushy bank account to do $$$ thousands at once. My husband is fairly easy going as far as dentists go. He had his cleaning there by a guy recently and this guy told him "I really don't want to spend that much time on your cleaning" and proceeded to do a crappy job. Charged the same amount but really did not do an appropriate cleaning. What he did do was painful. My cleanings, besides one with a temp, went fairly well. They seemed to understand my anxiety and senditive teeth. The Dr, not so much. Front desk people can be rude and abrupt. Needless to say, my husband and I have found a different dentist in Plymouth who listens to patients and responds to patient needs. She does not see patIents with $$$ in her eyes. Life Smiles is probably an "ok" choice if you have fairly routine dental needs. Not your best choice if you have to have work done and need a dentist that puts patients first. You can do better. Other reviews here that were low seemed very relatable. Choose wisely. I left in tears more than once from pain they created, with no care or concern whatsoever. I brought my first daughter here and had a successful lip and tongue revision. When I brought my twins here I was ordered I have to bring them to the chiropractor first before getting lip and tongue ties revised, which I then did. Then I scheduled my appointment to get it completed. I walked in the office and they took the pictures and said I then needed to visit some other specialist and then they would complete them. I was quite livid I wasn't informed of this before I brought them to their appointment or I wouldn't have wasted my time. It's not easy hauling my twins to appointments while finding a babysitter for my 2 year old. On that note, the appropriate person scheduled to do the lip and tongue tie revisions made an very rude comment to me, in which she later apologized for after I left her office in tears. Maybe we were both just having a bad day but I 100% would not go back here and am quite upset that I literally wasted $300 (we don't have dental insurance) + a chiropractor visit to get pictures of my twins lip and tongue ties and nothing done. Dr. Geisler and her staff have given me the best dental experience I have had in my 50+ years. I have very sensitive teeth, and I have a very high tolerance for anesthesia and numbing agents. As a result, my past experiences with other dentists made me "dental phobic". At Life Smiles, they took the time to understand my needs and gently treated me. Don't let Dr. Geisler fool you. Yes, her office is very comforting and her staff is extremely friendly and funny; however, many of her suggested services were unnecessary and simply inaccurate. I am unsure if this was accidental or intentional but after spending over 2,800, I would expect her and her team to at the very least be honest. After visiting other dentists in the twin cities are, I was informed that the two teeth she informed me were cavities and suggested be filled were in fact not cavities at all. One dentist even said the teeth were "perfectly fine" and that he seen no issues or underlying issues with the condition of the two teeth. (Detailed records were provided) Being a young patient without insurance I am extremely dissatisfied with her exam and office. I feel is if I have been BAMBOOZLED! Every time I am there the only problem I encounter is having trouble keeping my mouth open for my cleaning because I am so busy smiling and laughing. Really.
