Really wish this gave cleaner vibes. The room gave an eerie feel and definitely had elements that made you question the cleanliness. We had 5 people so we got a room with a couch. Boy oh boy, have you ever wondered what it's like to sleep in a place and worry about your health while doing it? Have I got the place for you! If every other hotel wasn't sold out I wouldn't stay here again. From the attached picture I think you can tell that cleanliness is the last things on their minds. If my friends wouldnt have insisted we not drive all the way through to our destination I would have kept going. On our way through We needed to book a room on the fly. To my dismay most of the hotels were booked in the area and we found one room available here. The basic room was $163 for the night and I would be fine with that (even pleased) if the hotel wasn't so gross. The hotel smells foul. The 3rd floor smells like weed despite you sign a waiver at check in acknowledging the No smoking policy. The rooms are dated, filthy and just feels grimy. We got in at 10:30 pm and woke up at 6am to get out of there and back on the road. (The previous review about unsavory regulars sitting outside smoking and and swearing was true last night too. I would leave 0 stars if I could! There were 2 beds in the room. The bedding had blood stains in one of the beds. The toilet seat was broken so it slid around, there was dust on many of the surfaces, the toilet paper roll hadn't been changed. Newly renovated nice looking and very comfortable pillows. Great water pressure in the shower and a great breakfast to boot. Needed to stop somewhere for the night on my way from Cincinnati to Disney world. I saw the tall Baymont while filling up gas and decided to check there for a walk in rate. It was a great value for what I paid. I got a nice 2 bed queen suite with a separate living room and a comfortable pull out couch for the kids. There was a fridge, microwave, and nice sink in the mini kitchen. They had a great breakfast with waffle maker, great choice of pastries and cereals, decent coffee and bunch of juices. On top of that, there was sweet old woman making omelets. Overall great stay and if I was in the area I'd stop again. read more

Very very clean. I was very impressed. The room we booked was unavailable so they gave us a free upgrade to a jacuzzi room which was very nice. I felt very safe even after dark. My ONLY complaint is that "the regulars" sit right outside the entry door smoking and using awful language. read more

This unfortunately isn't the dirtiest room i have ever walked into but it is trending to be in the very near future. As a Wyndham hotel it's very disappointing. Upon 2am arrival there was a scab from last guest and blade of grass between flat sheet and top sheet that I didn't get a picture of cuz honestly just wanted to go to bed and what looks like a blood stain. Entire hotel smells like an old bowling alley that used to be smoked in that is now non smoking and has been repainted to cover 50 years of nicotine. My husband had a bit of an asthma attack when we first got into room due to smell/ environment and had to remove clogged AC filters to help cool the room. This morning we saw all the other things that have been noticeably neglected for some time now. Carpet needs steamed cleaned in the immediate future or it will be to far gone to save. Lobby, hallway, and entry way floors have not been mopped in what I would assume to be weeks and piles of dirt have formed in corners. Gentlemen that checked us in was super friendly and welcoming and really the only positive thing I can say about stay. The lady that was behind front desk in the AM barely looked up when I went to the truck this morning to retrieve a few items. My husband addressed a few problems with the room with her at check out and she gave excuses like we are short staffed so your room wasn't as clean as it could have been and the shower recently broke. The shower rod fell off the top of shower when he got out of it and razor shield was left behind in shower from previous guest. After excuses she didn't offer an apology so that type of attitude is heavily reflected throughout this hotel. See pictures.... I feel like this was decent hotel that is going down hill very fast because routine cleaning procedures are being ignored. I understand short staff but the place was empty at checkout so there was plenty of time for the desk clerk to grab a mop and make lobby floor and entrance presentable. First of all, security was very concerning. The side door was stuck open with no way to close it. We were given keys to a room that was already occupied! Secondly, the whole place smelled of smoke. Our room smelled like someone had sprayed an entire bottle of air freshener to try and get rid of the smoky smell. Third, the upholstery was all extremely dirty and several of the door handles were broken. Absolutely appalling. We would have left for another hotel regardless of the late hour we got in, but it was an extremely busy night and there was nothing else available. read more

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The hotel itself is dirty. When I checked in the bathroom smelled of soured linens. There appears to be black mold around the tub fixtures, and the fiberglass on the bottom of the tub is separating in layers. There's also a stink bug flying around. I think I will be checking out tomorrow if I can find another hotel that's in my budget. Don't stay here. Seriously. Even if the rates seem really good, don't stay here. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is a DUMP! The hotel is filthy and stinks of stale cigarettes and excrement. You can see the dirt and dust everywhere. The first room we were given nearly knocked us out with cigarette stink ( smoke-free facility). The second room was slightly better but visibly dirty ( furniture stained, bathroom dirty). The keys didn't work and the "maintenance person " was having a very difficult time figuring out how to fix. The rest of the staff looked like an ad for drug rehab and were very unprofessional. we left and found another hotel. We didn't stay and neither should you! read more

My stay was alright the things that I didn't like were the shower had red stains from shampoo im guessing all over it. They didn't vacuum or inspect the floor too well. The knobs on the air conditioner were broken off so I had to unplug it when it got too cold. Beds were clean and comfortable for the most part. read more

We called and made reservations and asked if the pool was working we were told yes. We checked in and was told the pool has been down for 3 weeks, WOW LIE 1, we were told it will be fixed tomorrow but tomorrow never came, LIE 2, the workers called the owners and they were told it will be fixed soon when they got around to it, our room was dirty and smelled very bad, the toilet was dirty, tub was dirty, curtain had food on then the mirror had dry tooth past on it, we then asked if they could do something with the bill and was told NO we left. read more

So far not impressed at all. Warm water no hot water. 25 dollars a night for pet yes 25 dollars. It should be just 25 dollars not for both nights extra people are less. Breakfast just ok. Not one of the stronger Baymont's we have stayed in. Towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, was it left by a previous guest or put there to by the maid? I'll never know and did not use it. Our door did not properly lock and it appears as if one of the previous lodgers blew up a pop as there were splashes on the wall and on the back of the door.Has a fridge and microwave in the room so that's nice. The cabinet that the fridge is in is broken on the bottom, like the one side of the fridge fell through it. I have definitely stayed in worse hotels, though! Told the desk staff and she was extremely apologetic and got us a new room quickly. Second room was nice and non e of the issues of the first room. Chalking it up to miscommunication amongst staff... no worries. Beds were firm and the pool is a nice amenity. Only issues with the second room was the heat didn't work and neither did the bathroom fan. The Friday Night Karaoke is good for laughs . The breakfast bar was closed in the morning which was not too surprising as we are still in the COVID Pandemic. read more

We stayed here on a drive from MI to FL. Great midway stop. Easy to find right off I-75. Pool was a nice perk for the kids to burn off steam after a long day in the car. Hotel was exceptionally clean, staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. Beds were comfy! Free breakfast and the staff member in the dining room was lovely and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through. read more

Found this place while driving across counrty. Luckily this place had great reviews and I'm glad i made the decision to stay here. It looks like there was a lot of new renovations. The carpets were brand new fresh paint new machines including refrigerators and microwaves. The beds were nice and firm including pillows. Definitely the best motel I've stayed at once very long time. I will definitely visit on my way back next week. The staff was more than qccomodqting. The indoor pool is not heated!!! The only reason I picked this hotel was for my kids to swim and the pool was very cold. The rooms were not cleaned right my son found someones bank card in the night stand. The hotel is short staff it's like they lived there in the hotel. The only thing that was good was the breakfast and pet friendly the hotel allows large dogs. Oh and security the back enterance was always left unlocked for anyone to gain access to the hotel. This is independent owned hotel and is a disgrace to the Wyndham Corp name!!! Oh and don't stay here for business either they have no access to printer or fax and one computer that is down. read more

This is the absolute worst hotel we have EVER stayed in. Sheets were wrinkled in a body-design, dirty and smelled, so we know we were sleeping on some stranger's used sheets. I got a bite from something during the night....so grossed out. In the morning, we found both the hand towel and face cloth had blue gel toothpaste on them. EWWWWW. Hallways were lined with rolls of carpet and used mattresses, parking lot, covered in used carpet that had been pulled out - we had to drive over it to get in. Would NEVER have stayed there but we we had driven 12 hours and were late for a meeting and also were traveling with two little dogs. To add insult to injury, we were billed TWICE because the sketchy desk clerk said we hadn't paid for the dogs, which we had. It was listed as a $32 'service fee'). He said he 'couldn't see' our reservation, didn't want to give us a copy of what he added to the bill until I insisted. On it, he charged an additional $40, and then wrote what we were charged by the reservation clerk (less $35). Ended up being charged $145+ for a $61 room. Horrible. Horrible. Not even as a last resort. Sleep in your car...even without knowing you, I'd bet your car is cleaner. read more
