Very solid travel choice. Well run, managed, maintained property. Seems quiet and newish. Employees take pride in job. Far enough from Knoxville to maintain privacy. Breakfast is an abomination!!! Terrible!!! Worst hotel breakfast ever!!!! If breakfast is a component in planning, SKIP this inn. Seems like a bean counter assembled the cheapest components that might relate to a breakfast. Instant oatmeal in pot with 3 inches warm water on top. Coffee area is hidden. Frozen breaded chicken for breakfast???? Something is passing for eggs!!!! Get a grip - there are several other motels nearby. There is a group of teen age girls in line for the waffle machine. Breakfast area is Slammed at 7:00AM ( opening time on Saturday.) Open at 6:00AM to relieve congestion. MY solution: take coffee and depart to a much better breakfast location. Surely, a Regional Manager must be brought in to FIX this MESS. Redo and rearrange breakfast area. Discard all components of current breakfast bar and use a meal consultant. read more

First I would like to say although the cleaning staff was nice and understanding the management is not becoming of what Marriott's brand stands for. The room I was placed in was clean for the most part aside from being under disrepair. Holes in the walls where lights had been removed, dirty ripped replacement lamp, mirrors missing on the walls where the hangers were, ripped furniture, and visible exposed tv wires. When shown as brought to the managers attention she made it very clear that this was acceptable to Marriott's standards because all the items in the room weren't fully installed or on back order. Needless to say because of her attitude and behavior I asked to be checked out of the establishment. This is the first horrifying Marriott experience I've ever had. I am a gold elite member, card member and property owner, but if this is the new standard for Marriott then we should all be worried. I would highly advise you to stay somewhere else. read more

It was nice. The people at the front desk were welcoming. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was weak, not many options but it is a Fairfield so my expectations weren't high. We were on a road trip so if you're looking for a place to crash for the night it's acceptable. read more

The lobby was so beautifully decorated for the Fall when we stayed in November! Everything was very clean. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the beds. We stayed in a 2nd floor double queen room. The beds were too firm and pillows WAY to soft. Once you laid your head on them, its like all the air came out and they flattened to nothing. read more

The hotel room was nice enough for the price although there was no cleaning service for a 3-night stay. When we asked if that was published anywhere the front desk worker didn't know. We also had an issue with check-in. We had two rooms booked but when our travel partners (daughter and boyfriend) tried to check-in they were told we only had one room. The hotel then charged them a higher rate for a new room and cancelled one of our rooms. When I tried to rectify this, the manager was combative and defensive and refused to accommodate the difference in rooms. This could have been handled much better even without the financial restitution. read more

Needed a place to stop after a day of traveling with the family. No real complaints, the rooms were clean, the staff friendly not much more you can ask for. The soaps in the shower were empty, however I don't much use the soaps on the wall anyway. Oh and pork sausage and powdered eggs, why must hotels serve these lol. read more

Lovely clean place, smells good, lush pool towels, spacious workout areas. Nice outdoor pool with a grill and outdoor bathrooms and nice patio chairs. comfy beds, very nice. However, some qualities could be improved. the pillows are down feather so they are quick to go flat. i had to double it in half to sleep correctly. I got to breakfast shortly before close and the hot water wasn't hot at all. neither was the full time coffee bar. pool had just opened and it had some dirt in it and it was murky and cold. not the end of the world. at least they have one. THEY DON'T TAKE CASH so don't try to buy snacks with cash in the lobby.. Overall i would stay again, given I bring my own pillow and get hotter coffee/water. read more

This hotel was recently acquired by some venture capitalists... seems to be an investment property, not remotely customer oriented. The "pretty" lobby decor was a ruse. Don't fall for it. Was overcharged substantially for a sub-par room for a one night stay. Ice bucket was gross and covered in lotion. Temperature knob on the fridge was broken and kept falling out. Every staff person had communication issues, either sullen or vague or bored. Could not get documentation receipt upon checkout and staff were rude about it. Fruit was rotten on the breakfast bar. Room view was of the air conditioner with a Walmart behind... Why even have a window? Parking lot design and slope made it difficult to push luggage cart to vehicle, so I had to carry everything through a muddy median in sandals. Manager response was surly and apathetic when I wrote to them. Will not be back. Do not stay here. read more

A very new hotel( almost think new car smell) Our stay was great! The room was spacious with tons of USB & electrical outlets, the wonderful Marriott type mattress & pillows, plenty of fluffy towels, and an above average complimentary breakfast buffet. The outdoor pool is smallish, but apparently adequate because it was completely unoccupied. They also have a fitness center and guest laundry facilities. The staff we encountered at both the breakfast & front desk were also very pleasant. Would certainly stay here again. read more

We were hoping to make it home today during our trip back from Stugis. But Mother Nature had other plans and hit us with heavy rain and lightning storms. It took us 9 hours to cover 300 miles on our bikes. So, change of plans. Wven though we finally made it out of the storm front, we we're done. Time to find the next Marriott/Sheraton and try again tomorrow. This property was right off Rt. 75 South and became our respite. It is a newer property, so it was neat and trim. Amanda helped get us checked in and she was wonderful. We were able to be upgraded to a suite since we are platinum members which was nice after our long day. The room was comfortable and the the property had a nice restaurant across the parking lot called Harrisons (see review) that was convenient and good. There is also a Dunkin Donuts in front of hotel which made the location perfect. If in area, this is a good rest stop. We will stay again. read more

CONSUMERS BEWARE THIS HOTEL DEALS UNFAIRLY WITH GUESTS I recently stayed at this hotel December 22, 2022, and I would never recommend staying here. Upon check in, I noticed that the bathroom room area sink, and shower had human hair everywhere, the carpet had human hairs everywhere. I immediately went to Walmart and dollar tree directly behind the hotel to purchase cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom and room myself. Don't be fooled by the lobby, this hotel does not offer a clean environment. The hotel websites state this hotel offers a business center, but the computer did not work, the website states the hotel offers daily housekeeping, which is included in the nightly room rate, but, "I" didn't get any housekeeping doing my stay. Trash sat outside my door for two days, I had to move it because of the smell. I had to ask David, repeated times, for fresh towels and each time I asked, he was annoyed. In addition, the refrigerator in my room #310 malfunctioned causing all my purchased food to be ruin. This was the a day before Christmas.I reported the issue immediately to David, who ignored the issue. David claimed he was the person working because of the major holiday. I was never reimbursed for my food loss or food replacement cost. The G.M. Viresh and A.M. Taylor, have refused to pay me for my damages or comp my entire stay. A 2 1/2 Star rating for a Marriott Property should say it all. After an 8 hour drive, we stayed at this hotel on 5/18/24. The room was nice but some of the premium channels on the TV did not work. We called the front desk and they said they always have issues when it rains. Ok, well then fix it it, don't ignore it. It does not happen at any other hotel I have stayed in. Fox News appeared to be blocked. All the other news channels were just fine. We also asked at the desk about ownership and they said it was foreign owned. I didn't know they were political or are they just too cheap to fix their satelite system? "Foreign owned" hotels have gotten much better in recent years but some still think Americans are stupid and who cares if they come back as there is another stupid American coming down the interstate right behind them. We stay in Clinton twice a year, year after year but will not be staying at this Fairfield again. Marriott should provide better oversight. read more

I frequent Marriott chains and have strong status with them. I was traveling and tired and chose to stay at this Marriott location in Clinton. The room was not clean, needed updating, ( has a clock that used the old iPad and iPhone first generation chargers which are long and wide; think iPod 1 charger cord) , and there was a hair clump in the bathroom floor. Additionally, one of the towels appeared to have been used and rehung as new and was dirty and had some type of makeup smear or something and hair on it. I have a military cut and blonde hair so it clearly wasn't my hair. I had also asked not to be on the interstate side of the building and was given a room right on the interstate so I heard all the traffic and trucks and it kept me from sleeping well. I explained this when I checked out again and showed a picture attached below and they didn't seem to care. It is a great think I know Marriott locations well or this could sway me away from the chain. This location needs to do better. read more

We are originally from Clinton TN, my daughter and I and my grandchildren were excited to see that there was a Marriott hotel at the Clinton exit. We always stay at Marriott whenever possible. we entered the hotel and we saw they were a lot of bikers there and we didn't think anything of it because we are bikers. So I booked two rooms for that night June 9 and and 10June. The desk clerk never spoke anything about the bikers. That night there was music right below us with a boombox. The music wasn't very loud and it ended at 10 o'clock. The next night there was a live band. The music was so loud it was vibrating the windows you could not hear the TV. The band was directly beneath our rooms. I called to the desk and asked when was the music going to stop and that it was so loud we could not hear the TV and the windows were vibrating. She responded back by saying she thinks about 10 or 10:30 it usually stops. I got dressed and went down to the desk. The young lady responded back when I got to the desk by saying you didn't wait till the music was turned down. To come down here. I asked if we could be moved to the other side of the hotel I also told her that I had been sick and they had to call the paramedics on Friday night for me. She responded back by saying there are no rooms available. I cannot move you. I said this music is so loud it's awful. She said well. You saw the bikers when you arrived at the hotel. You knew they were going to be bikers here. I said yes, but I did not know there was going to be a live band. I was never informed of that. She said well it's a convention going on. And you should've realize this when you came into the hotel when you saw the bikers, I told her I was never informed that there was going to be a live band. She informed me that it was a convention and that they had booked a year in advance and they were over 600 bikers attending this convention. I said, I wish I would've been informed that when I checked in because I would've went to the next exit at Emory, and went to that Marriott. I said to her well I booked two rooms and paid over $800 for these rooms. She made me feel like my measly $800 did not mean anything because they had all these room booked a year in vadvance. This clerk was extremely rude and condescending. And just because you're bikers doesn't mean you ride around and scream and do crazy things in her mind I guess that's what this means so when I saw the bikers I should've realized that it was going to be loud and crazy going on there. And by the way, the music was never turned down. It's very hard to turn down a live band. Being in the room that night was a miserable place to be. Next morning when we checked out, I asked to speak to the manager. I wanted to tell the manager about the young lady at the desk, and how rude and condescending she was, and a person should never be in customer service. I was told he would contact me. I left my number. The manager never called me. I did call every day for four days after that wanting to speak to the manager. The manager Viresh Patel is a part of the Ephant group. The manager has the same attitude that the desk clerk had!! No customer service seems not to be important to these people. Therefore, I will make sure I never stay at Ephant group again. read more

Stayed at this hotel in September 2022, stay away. Service level is ok at best. The staff is pleasant and tries to help but the hotel has issues. After arriving and getting to our room we could not get the A/C working after about 20 minutes of trying called desk told the systems are "wonky" it finally came on after another 10 min set for fan on to keep air flowing and block out highway noise. Fan did not stay no so when it cycled can hear I75 and we faced away from interstate. When I call d back down told that's the way it is. Next morning it was raining while eating breakfast could see guests having to move cars around a old red minivan parked in the portico. One guest was parked next to the van for about 5 minutes the desk told the customer had to move his car. Other guest trying to stay dry were shuffling cars. A few min later a silver blue Lexus pulled up and parked next to red van also blocking the portico ended up being the hotel manager. She parked there until we departed at least 30 more minutes. Many customers were talking and complaining about not being able to use the portico on this rainy morning. Hotel is nice service and customers are not the focus from hotel management down there are other options in this area stay elsewhere I have been a Marriott member for more than 30 years this is the worst service from any Marriott property I have stayed at. read more
