I then was charged 4 times on my card. I called hotel and again and spoke with Eva. She stated that she remembered me cancelling and would fix it. She was very kind and I felt better. Once the GE got involved she completely changed her story and flat out lied. She stated I did not cancel. I have the record of my phone call and luckily recorded Eva apologizing to me and stating she would fix her mistake. I am disputing this with my bank and then Will see them in court. Phil Patel the manager/owner was no help at all. They lost a lot of business with us. As we travel there regularly for softball tournaments.

The peloton in the gym doesn't connect to anything. Okay annoying but maybe there's a connection issue. Then the water fountain in the gym doesn't work.... Okay again not a big deal the front desk gave me a water bottle. This is where things get UNSAFE though. The iron cord doesn't fit in the outlets in the room, causing sparks and a very lose connection. And the deadbolt in my room didn't actually work. Based on other reviews on here I'm afraid to lodge a formal complaint, since I travel to the area for work and there are only a limited number of hotels. I don't plan to stay here again but if the others are fully booked I'll need a back up option.

The hotel abides by "quiet time" from 10pm until 9am in respect and comfort for the guests - the first time I've seen that! Thank y'all!

A Masterclass in False Advertising…read more If you're looking for a hotel that bears absolutely no resemblance to its online photos, congratulations--you've found it! I expected a well kept, clean establishment. Instead, I was thrown into a live-action survival horror experience!!! Upon arrival, I was greeted by an army of roaches that clearly considered themselves paying guests. They definitely seemed more comfortable than any human I saw. Mold was visible throughout the property, as if they were going with some kind of toxic interior design theme or an abandoned building aesthetic. The room was so unsanitary, I considered sleeping in my car. However, after further review, the parking lot wasn't far enough away from this dump for me to feel safe. The bathroom was particularly memorable. Nothing says "welcome" quite like pubic hair, urine, and dried man spooge! The vibe was definitely more "crime scene waiting for forensic analysis" than "hotel suite." It was clear that cleaning is treated as more of a suggestion than an actual job requirement for the staff. The pool? Calling it a pool is generous. It was more a giant bowl of slime that looked capable of developing its own ecosystem! I half expected a swamp creature to emerge and demand a room key!!! The elevator was also broken. I guess dragging luggage up and down the stairs was their idea of a fitness package!!! The most disappointing part was the staff's complete lack of concern. Every complaint was met with indifference, as if roaches, mold, and biohazards were standard features included in the room rate. Customer service apparently checked out long before the guests did. I usually try to find something positive to say in a review, but in this case, the best part of my stay was checking out. If this hotel spent half as much effort cleaning the property as it does editing its website photos, guests might stay instead of fighting for a refund. Seriously, the online photos should be submitted for consideration in the fiction section of a bookstore because they have no connection to reality whatsoever. Save your money, save your sanity, and save yourself from sharing accommodations with an entire roach community that clearly have long-term leases. The only thing pristine about this hotel was the imagination of whoever created the advertisement.

We came for the B&B and stayed for dinner instead of going into Dublin. So glad we did!…read more The hosts were amazing and fit us in at the last minute when we found out there was a restaurant on-prem. We were seated at 7pm and both the service and food were amazing. We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. There are also some donkeys and horses on property who love to get their heads scratched.

My breakfast was a beautiful omelette, fresh fruit, buttered toast, tea, juice, or coffee, fresh jams, and all delicious. The farm is cute and quaint and not too far off the main drag. The friendly kitty was a treat as well. I will tell you, the night I stayed they were feeding a book club and the smell of the food was making me salivate from my room! I was offered but declined and now I regret it so much! Planning on going back with my husband when we can eat dinner as well! Can't wait!

When I got to my room, the bed was unmade and the room had clearly not even been cleaned. It reeked of cigarette smoke and my friend's room smelled even worse. When we went back to the front to tell the guy, we once again had to wait for him to finish his personal call to tell him the conditions of our rooms. His response was "I don't have anything else so you can take it or leave it. I'd be happy to cancel your reservation." Didn't even offer to have someone come and clean the room. Would rather drive 50 miles out of the way than stay here. You probably should to.

Our second stop was at the Quality Inn in Madison GA, also a good motel, but on our return north, we decided to alter our daily travel this time and stopped for the night at the Quality Inn in Dublin GA. This was our first time there, and we were satisfied with it. It appeared clean and was comfortable, which is all we want from an overnight motel stay. And breakfast the following morning was very good with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, sweet rolls, cereal and yogurt. Desk clerk was very friendly and suggested dinner at a nearby restaurant called the Pickle Barrel. I've reviewed it in a separate post.

It was a pretty nice place, but had a weird smell. At first I thought it was tolerable. Once I returned home, my luggage and clothing reeked so terribly that I had to wash them in Tide hygienic ultra pods twice. So as a Marriott girl, I came here. Not sure all the hate. When I checked in, they automatically addressed my ambassador status (which I don't care about, but just putting it out there). I got upgraded from a regular king room to a king suite, which has a lot more room and is really nice for a longer stay like mine (seven days). I got a free water as an ambassador. The room is clean, the bed is firm, but decent. The room doesn't smell terrible. Could use a little more storage space (only two full sized drawers). Located near several chain restaurants and about four miles from Main Street for some smaller local places. I think this is probably gonna be worth the drive.

They come home from the wedding at 9:00 PM Saturday and the key doesn't work, they have no way of getting in their room for their toiletries, medication, change of clothes etc. They were put into another room for the night. Sunday morning, they still cannot get into their room. The hotel had yet to call a locksmith Sunday morning at 10:00 AM which should have been the first thing on the list knowing it would take some time to get there. The General Manager, Christine Pate, refused to speak with me and when I called the hotel the front desk person (who was not briefed on what happened over night) would not help except to offer socks and food. GM did not want the door opened by the fire department or police. They comped the room which is the VERY LEAST they could have done. but now have to wait over 2 hours for locksmith-Should have been called earlier. Medication is the important issue here. These young adults cannot leave and get back to their homes because they need their personal belongings. I guarantee that if this was happening to me or my husband this would have been handled already. We will never stay with a Marriott property again which is a shame because that is all my family and company use for travel. Hilton here we come!!!! Seems to be a pattern here if you see all the reviews on here.
