We came for the B&B and stayed for dinner instead of going into Dublin. So glad we did! The hosts were amazing and fit us in at the last minute when we found out there was a restaurant on-prem. We were seated at 7pm and both the service and food were amazing. We felt like family. The owner stopped and chatted with each table for a few minutes after the main course. The B&B was also a pleasure. We had a special need and the owner was more than happy to accommodate us. The room was cozy and had a couple of easy chairs that you could watch TV from. There was also a couple of bags of snacks and a fridge stocked with sodas and water, all complimentary. If you love animals, there is a resident cat who makes his way along the outside porch as an ambassador to all the guests. I was actually here for the Bed and Breakfast and not for the regular restaurant fare but I loved it all the same. My breakfast was a beautiful omelette, fresh fruit, buttered toast, tea, juice, or coffee, fresh jams, and all delicious. The farm is cute and quaint and not too far off the main drag. The friendly kitty was a treat as well. I will tell you, the night I stayed they were feeding a book club and the smell of the food was making me salivate from my room! We had our second dinner here last week and both would have received 5 stars on the dinner experience alone. The food is amazing and the price point for the gourmet experience is really good. Having lived in Atlanta for 20 years, I was shocked at how low the price was for the experience. Both meals were completely different but Maria's parmesan soufflé is one of the best things I've ever eaten and her lasagna is the only lasagna I have ever wanted more of. The portions are perfectly sized and coursed appropriately. The service and ambiance are fabulous, we never wanted for anything during our meal and never waited for the next course. Heinz leads the servers and helps them throughout. His personality just adds to the experience. This year I was lucky enough to spend the night at the farm and we had a great night. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Maria even makes scrambled eggs taste gourmet (they asked what our party of 4 would like). Cannot recommend enough. read more

Review is based only on Ristorante da Maria. This is what I think of when I think "date night." Dinner is by reservation only and is Italian. What you do is review the menu online since it changes weekly and call ahead. She prepares just enough food for the number of guests she is expecting. You get to choose your meat entree (beef/pork, chicken, or seafood) when making your reservation. Dinner is served in five courses. All food is homemade by Maria. It is also my understanding she has traveled to and from Italy to learn recipes and techniques. She also does cooking classes. Location is secluded and set off the main road but is easily found with GPS. Surrounding scenery is picturesque. On the particular night we went, we were lucky enough that is wasn't crowded and had the entire patio room to ourselves. Wow! Dublin Farm was the perfect stopping point on our way to the Keys from Indianapolis. We were greeted by Heinz, who was very nice and got us settled in to our lovely room. Because we were there on a Sunday, we were not able to have dinner there, so Heinz recommended a restaurant called Company Supply. Let me say it was amazing! We returned from dinner and walked around the farm and got to pet the horse and donkeys! A rare treat for us city dwellers. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. In the morning, we had an amazing breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, homemade biscuits, and coffee. They even asked us what time we would like breakfast. My brother and his girlfriend stayed here overnight and I came for dinner with them and my mother. I can't comment on the hotel portion (though they seemed to quite enjoy their stay), so I'll just talk about the restaurant portion. First, the grounds, atmosphere, and general decor of the place are stunning. If a rustic barn-house atmosphere could be high end, this would be what it would become. Overall, the dinner was a great success. We got a private section with our own waiter. Two bottles of wine and several courses of great, delicious food. The view from the window was also very nice. The bill was very high (over $300 for the 4 of us). It's the highest bill we've actually ever paid for food anywhere, but it was quite tasty and we had a great time. As you might've noticed, I deducted a star. This is because my mother and I both have rather delicate stomachs and digestive systems. Both of us had stomach aches through the night and were still ill through the next day. However, my brother and his girlfriend were both completely fine, and they had exactly the same dishes we did. It could've been any number of factors that didn't agree with my mother and I, including the cooking oil they used (who can say?), but as such, I had to deduct a star because of that. If you have similar stomach issues, I may suggest not eating dinner here. Otherwise, though, this was a good experience and we all quite enjoyed it! read more

We stayed one night in this lovely bed and breakfast on our way to north Georgia. It is out of town, in the countryside, very serene and peaceful. We enjoyed the quiet comfort. The inn was lovely, well kept, and our hosts were very gracious. Breakfast the next morning was prepared at the time we selected and made individually for us. The eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruits and jam were perfect. We may go out of our way on our next trip through Georgia just to spend a night here! We had an anniversary evening here, with dinner and a stay at the B & B. The entire experience was incredible. The B&B rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a stocked mini fridge. The view overlooking the field of horses is serene and relaxing. Breakfast was made to order, according to our menu requests and time preferences. The dinner, though, was the most impressive piece of our experience. Truly, the food was nothing short of spectacular. Heinz is a warm host and is happy to help with beverage choices; in fact, he talked my husband into trying several quite tasty German beers. We found this great B&B when we were looking for a place to stay on the road. Every hotel in Dublin was booked to capacity. We were recommended the Dublin Farm and so glad we were! We arrived at dinner time and had a great meal prepared by Maria. Had a great nights sleep and fantastic omelets for breakfast. Price was similar to staying in town, but we could actually relax! We stayed for valentine's Day weekend. It was a perfect spot, like a quick trip to an Italian villa in the country. The rooms are furnished in a beautiful country style; spacious and very comfortable. We did not want to watch TV, and therefore were not disappointed that there were no flat screen tvs. They still provide VCR and tapes. The main reason to come here is the food, and relaxation. Maria is originally from the Northern part of Italy and cooks authentic Italian food. This is not your lasagna, marinara stuff. Homemade gnocchi that melts in your mouth, the chicken roasted with artichokes was excellent too. If you want her recipes, you can arrange a cooking class trip. We enjoyed the dinners and breakfasts ( not continental- but do not expect grits or potatoes). Beware, there is nothing around but the country,the Dublin historic district is minuscule. So bring a good book, and enjoy the food. And yes, they have wi-fi. read more
