I stayed here for work, and because of the time of the year, I didn't have much of a choice of hotels, everything was booked up for graduations. The price was definitely not to be beat, but I have definitely experienced better. Here are some cons to my almost 2 week stay here: 1. Cleaning the room was not a daily occurrence. A few days, my room was skipped, which is not a huge deal to me, but I never left my "Do Not Disturb" sign out, so I shouldn't have been missed. 2. Deep cleaning of the rooms seems to be lacking. You can tell, when you look at the cracks, look at the dirt that has been building up, the paint that is peeling, the floors that aren't regularly vaccuumed very well, that the cleaning is a quick surfacial job and they let the cracks fall through. Case in point, even just go into the lobby and food serving area, same story. Deep cleaning is lacking here, over. It didn't bother me too much, I have had worse, but you hope that each hotel at least does some deep cleaning once and a while. This place is way overdue. 3. There is no alarm clock in the room. I know that isn't a requirement, but its certainly a welcoming necessity. I'd rather have a nice alarm clock than a flat screened tv, because I hardly watch the TV. 4. The bed is really hard. And if you are okay with that, this is your place! I started getting neck cramps throughout my work week, so I was definitely not a fan. 5. The staff could be more courteous. When I checked in, I talked to the manager, filled out paperwork to be tax exempt because work is paying for the hotel. When I checked out, the lady didn't seem to understand, refused to take the taxes off, and told me I needed to talk to the manager in two days. Hello, I am leaving right now, why am I going to chase down the manager in two days? Why can't you call up the manager now? Customer service was horrible, unless you are dealing with the manager, Linda who seems to be pretty nice. Overall, I was disappointed, and the lady at the desk couldn't care less. To balance it out, here are som Pros: 1. Comfy pillows. That is a big deal to me. 2. Free continental breakfast, though I had to leave too early to work I didn't get to try it out. They just have cereal, a waffle maker, and powdered eggs if you are really hungry and want to eat there. 3. Price. The price is really low, and thats great, it saved my work a lot of money staying here, which is good for everyone. Now, I am not too picky, and I can definitely overlook a great deal many things, and if you need to stay here, I recommend a short stay. Long term, I'd try harder to book somewhere else. read more

my rate is definitely a -0 I came and purchased a room for one night and was charged $105 for a roach motel! I called front desk and asked if it was any more rooms available because roaches were falling onto the bed and etc they told me because i had been checked in since 6pm and it's now 11;50 it's nothing they can do .... yeah HELL NO ! read more

The special said $59 and the lady in the office told me the best she could do was $79. So I went ahead because I'm 6 months pregnant and it was already 10:30pm. Then I checked my bank and they charged $94.27 for a room that had fleas and the pipe behind the toilet was leaking so I walked into a wet floor in the middle of the night. The last thing someone that is 6 months pregnant wants to do is walk in toilet water. When I told the office they said "oh sorry" no discount no way of rectifying the situation at all. Will never stay there again! If I could give a negative 5 stars then that's what I would rate them! Not even worth the 1 star rating! read more

Checked into this POS 10/1; walked into the dilapidated room to find blood on the sheets, hair all over the sink and shower, #2 floating in the toilet. Thought I was in a horror film. I Immediately went to the front desk, the lady, name starts with a D, offered nothing instead told me to cancel my reservation through Priceline.com as she knew the dispute would get denied as the reservation was non-refundable and I already checked in. I would rate this negatively if I could. I checked into this hotel Nov 22nd 2003. When I got to my room 104 at this hotel I found hair in the bathtub and slime around the drain ring. I went into the lobby to politely ask for it to either be cleaned or for a different room. The woman at the front desk did not believe me about the condition of the room so she went into the room to look at it. I had to point out the hair and the slime. She told me that the cleaning crew had already been sent home and that she was not cleaning it. She then tried to cancel my reservation and refund my money instead of just cleaning the mess. She said I do not want a bad Yelp review (this hadn't even been on my mind at the time) and to just go. Now this is the day before Thanksgiving. You know I would not get another room elsewhere. I told her I just wanted it cleaned so we could stay in the room. She then handed me a cleaning rag and cleaner to do it myself. I was frustrated but did it so I could have a clean bathroom. Later that night as my husband was moving the lounge chair so he could work on his computer we found a fast food bag and a bloody band aid under the chair. At that point I started looking around the room. There were mold stains on the sink walls, no drain stopper in the sink, holes in the walls in the bathroom, and dead bugs on the bed. We had to stay there that night as we had no other room options. After Thanksgiving dinner with my family we went back to the hotel and decided to just leave as it was just filthy. We weren't worried about a refund as we had left our stuff in the room for most of the day. I went into the lobby to let the front desk lady know we were leaving and why. I did not ask for a refund. I just wanted to make sure she knew we were gone so she didn't try anything. She got hostile towards me and asked why we had even bothered to stay. I told her it was because we had no other choice. She never yelled but just kept getting more and more belligerent. I am so glad there is a video camera there so that when I report this to Wyndham they can ask to see it. What ever you do, do not stay at this hotel. There are many other hotels in Waycross that are a lot better. read more

Baymont by Wyndham Waycross GA Horrible. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. 1) Advertise Hot Breakfast - 1) lie. 2) I was offered coffee and a banana by the front desk. When I said that is not a breakfast - was told it was. 2) Paper thin walls. You can hear people on your sides, upstairs, outside. 2 night stay = did not sleep either night, due to all the noisy people and their TV's! 3) Pool is the size of an outdoor patio. 4) Bathroom did not have box of kleenex and waste basket - was smaller than a shoebox. read more

When we arrived, we were given a room only to find out there was someone in the room already! After getting another room, one of the chairs inside was broken so I almost fell through the seat, the sink was clogged, and overall the room was not very clean and stinky. We also had to get a new key at 1 o'clock in the morning because ours just magically stopped working! Will not stay here again and would not recommend. read more

I have stayed at the nicest hotels along the i95 corridor, so I know value when I get it. I have stayed at the Baymont Inn in Dunn,NC and in Waycross,GA (1 hr. West), and I believe it's the best deal around. Save 65% off you next motel bill and sleep comfortably at the Baymont Inn! Great bed, excellent shower, several TV channels, refrigerator to keep water cold, and kind and courteous staff. What else do you need for about $50 buck a night! If I could rate this property with negative star ratings I would. This place was dirty & disgusting! I've reported them to Wyndham corporation as to the overall condition. This hotel does not uphold to the Wyndham name. There were stains on the so called clean sheets (pictures attached) & cigarette burns in the comforter, a non-smoking room. When reported to the front desk I was told the room & building were non smoking, indicating the complaint wasn't possible until that is, I showed her the pictures. There were stains on the carpet & much more I'm not going to waste your time ranting about. I will say however the young girl at the front desk was very polite & never lost her composure with me or the two other people coming in after me. She should, in my opinion, seek employment with a hotel she could be proud of working for! read more

Toilet didn't work. Mold. Room needed a deep cleaning. The vanity outlets worked after I wiggled the plunges several times. The clock, a lamp and hair dryer were unplugged. Were they trying to save money? If you like weak coffee, instant grits, instant oatmeal and powered eggs, you will like their breakfast. They did have make your own waffles and toast, juices and fruit. I'm still trying to figure out what the $12 room was. read more

Disgusting !! This place was nasty! Carpet was stained! Duct tape and rot in the bathroom ! Bed linens had stains! Around the door had dead bugs! Old garbage in the can from the previous guest. Excellent customer service! Very nice room! Very clean room! I had a fridge and microwave. The best part was I could have my little dog with me. Only paid 10$ a night for her. Overall this was a great hotel! I give them an A+++++. Oh yeah free breakfast. I'm happy I stayed here. I heard horror stories from family about others in the area. So I picked the right one! Absolutely great for the price! Booked through Hotwire as a 2 star hotel at only $55 (including tax) and it far exceeded our expectations. The room was very large and very clean and came with FREE internet, coffee, and breakfast. We had a short, quiet stay but would definitely stay again if we were passing through the area! read more
