Great food. Great drink options. Tastes good. Service left a bit to be desired but this is also inside of a gas station

The place is classically decorated and clean. First, to me, the sign of a great restaurant is an owner or manager who comes by the table, to see how their guests are doing. The owner, Tracy, did just that, asking how everything was and visiting for a short time. That was appreciated. For our meal, we had bread sticks with parm, Lasagna, Manicotti and Angel hair pasta. It was a very nice meal with loved ones that we enjoyed very much. Everything was really good and at a fair price. What strikes me the most about Fritella is not just the food, but the family feel. While we were there, a group of ladies showed up for lunch, then proceeded to enjoy a game of bridge with their friends. This is exactly what I think of, when I think of Frittella. Family, Friends and Food in a relaxing and warm atmosphere.

I got the menu and ordered a build you own pizza. Ordered pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and mushrooms. Server appeared a little nervous it didnt help that some of the party was joking with her and carrying on amongst themselves. But she was good. She brought my pizza a short time later. Looked like the placed the pepperoni on top of all the toppings so they hadn't melted into the cheese like all the other toppings. Already red flags. Pizza was piping hot which is a good sign. When I went to get a slice all the toppings slid off not good! Anyways I ate it but extremely mid pizza at best. I mean it looked great! One of the other guys ordered a build your own pizza and on pizza you could have up to 7 toppings I believe so he ordered all his toppings and asked to have triple pepperoni as well as the other 3 toppings. We joked that they were only gonna give him 3 more pepperoni. I should have gone to play the lottery cause when his pizza came out it looked like mine plus 3 extra pepperonis lmfao I tried the fired calamari it was good but had no flavor at all! And the little piece of lemon was under all the calamari. On the plus side they do give you a good portion of calamari to the point if my friend who ordered it went outside to make a call and we ate a hood amount he came back and said we could eat some and he never noticed that we had eaten a bunch already lol. The group said their past plates were really good Would i come back yes to try the lasagna and pasta Pizza 3 outa 10 not bad tasted pretty good Calamari 5 outa 10 you get a good portion

Whew! I'm a Mississippi native so Louisiana is like our great aunt and New Orleans is our first…read morecousin. I knew when we pulled up the food was going to be good. When I tell you the spirit of Louisiana and NOLA was in the place! So you will miss the place if you aren't paying attention. The sign is small and the building looks like it used to be a church fellowship hall. It's not fancy and it's small, however, don't discount it. Don't judge a book by its cover and great things come in small packages. It's a family owned and run business. By the looks of it, it can probably seat 40 people and I'm pushing it with the number. However from the time you walk in until the time you leave, you feel like you're at your great aunt's house. It was five of us and when you walk in, it's seat yourself and first come, first serve. The food came out piping hot and cooked fresh. My husband and brother-in-law got the catfish platter with red beans and rice (no pork) and Mac-n-cheese. My sister and I got the Nawlins boil that had a crab cluster, shrimp, corn, potato, boiled egg and a sausage link. My nephew got a shrimp po-boy with fries. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fish and fries were crispy. The Mac-n-cheese isn't creamy but it isn't dry. Perfect amount of cheese and flavor. The red beans and rice had the perfect balance of flavor. The boil...my goodness the boil. They have the amount of the boil down to a science to make it a full meal. At first glance, I didn't think it would be seasoned well because the season looked like a dry rub. It wasn't saucy or juicy - until I took my first bite. I almost walked to the kitchen to kiss the cook. They are not skimpy on any of the food either. Even the po-boy had an overload of shrimp. When we were there, it was a packed house. There was also a large party who was rather disgruntled - not because of the service or food but because they were impatient. Remember this is a family owned business with 2 servers and maybe 3 cooks that cook to order. So if you're looking for quick food, this isn't the place. If you have time to sit, enjoy some great food with great company in a casual home style restaurant...this is your place.

The restaurant looks almost like a converted house from the outside, but nicely kept with parking around the side. The interior is simple but upbeat in its New Orleans decor. The owner cheerfully met us at the door and invited us to sit wherever we wanted. She was hajppy, helpful and patient throughout the visit. We ordered all of our favorites to try; gumbo, etouffee, catfish, shrimp, dirty rice. While I have had better crawfish etoufee, the shrimp and catfish were king! The fish was mild, cut in a thick filet and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp was also perfect and very pleasing. It was all served with a grilled piece of bread that went well with the meal. It's good to have these folks in Bryan. I would definitely dine at Remnant of Nawlins again.
