I don't have much to say after my experience but I doubt I would return unless asked to go again. Who would have ever thought Asian-Cajun Fusion would exist in College Station? My mother asked me to come with her to try the gumbo as she was going to sample it before she decided whether or not we would have it on Christmas Eve. The gumbo was cold and we sent it back. They nuked it, stirred it, and gave it back to us. It was adequately seasoned and they even gave us some Cajun seasoning and pepper in case we weren't happy with it. We also both ordered the fried shrimp and fish plate which was decent (the breading on the shrimp was good) and the fries were okay. The tartar sauce, ranch, and ketchup were all good. In the end, it doesn't look like we will be eating gumbo for Christmas Eve.

They're super popular and were very busy on a Friday night. They needed more wait staff. I waited 15 minute to order my drink. The food came out fast. The gumbo was pretty good. The boiled shrimp was okay, maybe a little boring. My friends enjoyed their crawfish, snow crab legs, corn, and potatoes. The decor was on-brand. Not sure if I'll be back. No true veggies on the menu.

My husband and I decided to eat here for lunch one day and everything met our expectations. We loved everything from the vibe of the restaurant to the interior decorations that make you feel like you are on a ship! We had a fun time reading all the writings on the benches and walls, although some of it could be inappropriate to the little ones. So just be mindful of that. The service was quick and our waitress was friendly, so no complaints there. We both ordered the Fried Fish and Shrimp combo basket. For $10.99 each it was quite a serving! The fish and shrimp were fried to a golden crisp and seasoned to perfection. The Cajun fries were also crispy and seasoned, not too spicy. We will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Original seasoning is awesome, but it gets very salty when you about to finish the seafood. Crawfish and snow crab legs are great. Nice interior, feel like eating in a seaport.

This review is NOT about just the food, because then it should be a 5-star review. The boiled seafood is really really good (comparable to what I had in Louisiana). The quality of the seafood was fresh and the crabs especially were really good. However, the service in this place really left a bitter aftertaste. I will explain in a few points. 1. On Google, Yelp, and on a chalkboard in the restaurant itself, it is written that the restaurant closes at 10 PM. However, they started wrapping things up by 9:30 PM and started rushing us. When we enquired, they said they had already closed at 9:30 PM. 2. My fried was using a crab cracker for his crab claws, but the waiter just took it from him because they had 'closed down'. The same waiter threw away my friend's leftovers when he had gone to the restroom to wash his hands. 3. When I pointed out to them that Google, Yelp, and their storefront states the closing time as 10 PM, they just excused themselves stating that those times hadn't been updated. So, because of the incompetence and stupidity of the workers, the customers had to suffer. 4. The server himself seemed a bit confused from the beginning and kept messing up from time to time (filling up a drink cup with ice when specifically instructed to do the opposite, forgetting what condiments we had asked for, etc.) and took over 30 mins to get our order to us (another reason why we were there for so long. We had reached the restaurant at 8:15 PM. Overall, really pleased by the food and disappointed by the service. I would return again, but just do to-go orders from now on.

I am so happy this place exists in College Station. Stupiddd delicious! I'm down here for work and decided I must try some of the typical Texas/southern foods. So of course crawfish boil was on the list. I absolutely adored the boil here. The Rajun Cajun sauce was like nothing I've ever tasted. I got the 4 out of 5 spice because I am unfamiliar with the spice levels of Cajun food, but it wasn't spicy to me lol. I'd go for 5 star if I return. Anyways the seasoning was incredible. The size and cook of the crawfish was delectable. And the prices are unbeatable. I had such a great dinner here! 15 out of 10 recommend.

Interesting experience. Cajun crawfish and some Asian items on the menu. The crawfish was okay flavor-wise but they didn't clean them. They were still dirty and then swimming in the oil and spices. The dirt got on the sausage and other add-ins. Not super appetizing. I also tried mochi here for the first time which I don't think is my cup of tea. They are jelly-like on the outside and ice cream on the inside. The texture threw me off. Not sure if I'd eat here again just because of the dirty crawfish. Crawfish prices are too high to still have them swimming in mud.

I have simple tastes. I ordered three pounds of spicy boiled crawfish. They were delicious. They were large with most of the "meat" the size of shrimp. I will return the next time I'm in Texas.

EXCELLENT! I did not expect to find something like this in a small small town. We were on our way…read moreto college station and wanted to get something to eat as we got closer to our destination. We checked Yelp for something other than Mexican food and this place had really great reviews. As soon as we walked it we knew it was going to be good. The menu isn't too large, which to me meant that they have spent a lot of time perfecting the things that are on the menu. The service was really good and as soon as we sat down, we ordered a couple of sodas and the Boudin balls. We took a couple minutes to look at the menu and everything looked really good, but the spicy chicken sandwich was really calling out to both of us. So we ordered those one with potato salad and one with rice. The Boudin balls were delicious. They were pretty large in size and the sauce that it came with had a little bit of a kick to it. My favorite thing was that it was mostly meat on the inside and the flavor was incredible. Same with the chicken sandwich. It also had a kick and by the time I was done my mouth was pretty warm. I thought the potato salad was a great way to help cool it off, and it was just as good as the sandwich. I loved the batter on the chicken, and I thought the bun was toasted perfectly. This would be a place I would go to regularly if I lived in the area. Parking was pretty tight and most of the spots were taken up so we did park in a spot we weren't supposed to, but luckily we didn't get towed!

Whew! I'm a Mississippi native so Louisiana is like our great aunt and New Orleans is our first…read morecousin. I knew when we pulled up the food was going to be good. When I tell you the spirit of Louisiana and NOLA was in the place! So you will miss the place if you aren't paying attention. The sign is small and the building looks like it used to be a church fellowship hall. It's not fancy and it's small, however, don't discount it. Don't judge a book by its cover and great things come in small packages. It's a family owned and run business. By the looks of it, it can probably seat 40 people and I'm pushing it with the number. However from the time you walk in until the time you leave, you feel like you're at your great aunt's house. It was five of us and when you walk in, it's seat yourself and first come, first serve. The food came out piping hot and cooked fresh. My husband and brother-in-law got the catfish platter with red beans and rice (no pork) and Mac-n-cheese. My sister and I got the Nawlins boil that had a crab cluster, shrimp, corn, potato, boiled egg and a sausage link. My nephew got a shrimp po-boy with fries. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fish and fries were crispy. The Mac-n-cheese isn't creamy but it isn't dry. Perfect amount of cheese and flavor. The red beans and rice had the perfect balance of flavor. The boil...my goodness the boil. They have the amount of the boil down to a science to make it a full meal. At first glance, I didn't think it would be seasoned well because the season looked like a dry rub. It wasn't saucy or juicy - until I took my first bite. I almost walked to the kitchen to kiss the cook. They are not skimpy on any of the food either. Even the po-boy had an overload of shrimp. When we were there, it was a packed house. There was also a large party who was rather disgruntled - not because of the service or food but because they were impatient. Remember this is a family owned business with 2 servers and maybe 3 cooks that cook to order. So if you're looking for quick food, this isn't the place. If you have time to sit, enjoy some great food with great company in a casual home style restaurant...this is your place.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we look forward to our visit again this weekend for my Mom's 80th!! Look, this is a college town when it's all said and done and you wouldn't know it in their establishment. The pace is slowed down from the college hustle and bustle, which is a nice change of pace and their vibe is just laid back, relaxed and elegant.
