Mushroom Flatbread

We stumbled upon this bar thinking "how fun, a dueling piano bar." What we didn't expect was an incredible ambiance, most hospitable staff, and an incredible food and beverage menu. But our server, Lauren, made the experience exceptional. She was patient, kind, and lively. If you happen to come to Nashville, you have to stop by Bayou Keys and ask for Lauren!!

I had no idea that we walked past this place several times, almost like a hidden gem. I'm so glad we found it! Absolutely loved the music. Everyone was extremely talented, the crowd was encouraged to be involved, and they were so great about taking requests. Anyone who gets into character for an Elton John song gets a 10/10 in my book!! I highly recommend reserving a table. We reserved a table in advance to enjoy music and drinks.

A great night in Nashville!

I'm not a fan of country music, but really wanted to see live music while I was in Nashville. Thankfully, I wandered past this place after my conference and the friendly security guy answered my questions. I was surprised there was no cover charge! It would have been worth one. I felt totally comfortable sitting alone at the bar as a solo woman. I loved and knew almost every song that they played. The male and female entertainers were very talented (knew percussion too) and had a great vibe on stage. They called people up on stage, engaging them with props. It was a lot of fun. The musicians welcomed & encouraged song requests. I had the best Moscow Mule I've had in town during my stay. At 9 pm the place was friendly with good vibes--quite a few tables were doing the girls' night out thing. Highly recommended!

Great entertainment and very talented musicians on the stage! We ordered the charcuterie board, beignets, and margarita flatbread. The beignets were smothered in powdered sugar (a little too much for our liking) so we only ate one, but the other appetizers were good. I also ordered the sunflower drink and wasn't a fan- tasted too much like black licorice in my opinion. Although the decor is cute and falls in line with a Louisiana-feel, the huge fake trees surrounding the stage really block a lot of view and take away from being able to see the entertainment. Overall, it's a fun place to visit!

Fun place for late drinks in Nashville Very entertaining piano players and good drinks Service was pretty quick and efficient

The musicians were ok but not awesome. I'm sure some people will love the show but kind of cheesy to me. It becomes a little gimmicky. The singers engage the audience and encourage them to sing songs but this gets old and boring quick. I guess if you want something different to do in Nashville and have a few hours to kill, this show is ok. Would I ever go back and visit this show again- No I'm good.

12/10!! Love that we have a dueling pianos venue! Show was so great. Service was attentive. Love when the crowd is really in it!!

Lively, fun piano bar in the heart of Broadway. The service is a little slow, so just sit back and sing along to the music. I was a little surprised that sings started to repeat after 1.5 hours. There's only so much YMCA one can take before it's time to move on to the next venue.

What a night! Loved the energy and performance.

Wow. Energy. Belly laughs. Singing non stop. I'm coming back! The range of genre including the audience was off the charts.

Y'all. This little hidden gem is tucked under Lainey Wilson's restaurant and was the BEST piano bar I've been to.. we weren't able to make a reservation online but were there before 6 so when it opened we were able to snag a table. They do also offer open seating at the bar and standing room is available too but FYI the food menu is different than the upstairs restaurant. The music starts about 6:30 which is a variation of all kinds of music not just country, Lori was HILARIOUS. Our group had so much fun laughing and singing along with her. I definitely want to go back the next time we're in Nashville.

If you are looking for a fun place to visit with good bites and drinks this is your place! It's in the lower level of Lainey's Wilson's new place and it is always hopping. The talent of the dialing piano players will blow your mind. The night we went there were 3 musicians and they were all great. We shared a charcuterie board and it was more than filling. The place is dark and mysterious looking (kinda hard to see menus) but so fun. Check it out.

Dueling pianos from back of bar. Lots of different seating options.

If you are up for a full dinner, the food is second to none. For many years I went to hear the great John Johnthis, and was so excited to hear that Terrific Terri is now holding down the fort. The first time I heard Terri play and sing was at a wonderful restaurant in Green Hills -- since gone the way of all flesh. I told Terri after the show "I'll bet your parents were shocked when you came into the world White and Blonde." (She told me later that was the finest compliment she had ever received.) Of course, I said that, because she covers Dionne Warrick like no one I have ever hear, and get's down on the Blues. It is hard to say whether Terri is a better singer or jazz pianist. She is simply terrific at both. Terri has a great personality and talks to the audience between tunes, which is both enlightening and entertaining. So I am awarding V'Lounge Five Stars and look forward to my next vist.

The rack of lamb was equally impressive, cooked exactly as requested and full of rich flavor. The sides took it over the top! The creamy macaroni was indulgent and smooth, the mashed potatoes were buttery and well-seasoned, and the green beans with bacon added the perfect savory touch. Fried green tomatoes. The asparagus was fresh and cooked just right, adding a nice balance to the meal. And let's not forget the drinks--"1853" and "The Lira" were both exceptional and complemented the meal beautifully. Desert bread pudding. Overall, a delicious and satisfying dining experience from start to finish. Definitely worth every bite!

Kudos to my husband for finding this restaurant. Food is my hobby and The Standard was not even on my radar. It is somehow not talked about much in food circles. It should be! Valet is available for the restaurant. I recall it being around $20. We opted to valet since it was freezing the night we dined here. I can't imagine self parking options in the area would be less expensive. The restaurant is in a historical home. Such a surprise in downtown. It's an impressive 15,000 square feet with multiple floors. The first floor offers dining spread out over several of the rooms of the home. Two delicious cocktails were a great start to the meal. We chose different takes on old fashioned cocktails. The Lobster Dip was great. I enjoyed it and my husband flipped over it. It was served with a nice herb bread. The Standard Filet was tender and delicious. The potatoes hash cake didn't have an overwhelming truffle flavor. The flavors on the plate complemented the steak well. The steak was well prepared and not overly sauced. My husband really enjoyed the Bone-In Pork Chop. All of the flavors of this dish worked well together. The Chocolate Mousse was chocolate perfection. This was as delicious as my mom's chocolate mousse which is the highest compliment I can give. Make sure to order your own because you won't want to share this dessert. The Standard offers historical charm with fine dining quality food. What a fun spot for both locals and tourists.
