Food was excellent & served prior to show starting. The prices were on the low end for the quality. Atmosphere was very low key, comfortable and music acoustics were wonderful without being too loud! So glad to have visited & looking forward to going back.

This was a quick scooter ride off the main drag, and we actually decided to check it out initially since my wife's name is Lindsey (and because of the reviews, of course). Cool, expansive, wrap around bar as you enter, with a big stage. We attended a radio event where one band was finishing up, and one performer was about to go on. Both were quite talented, and we looked afterward, and apparently we watched the #1 harp guitarist in the world, so that is something. Very quiet atmosphere, and we whispered our order for drinks. But, very cool, as each artist told stories about their songs in between. I can't speak for other events, as maybe it gets louder, but the quietness was sort of cool, as we felt like we were there for a unique experience, which we embraced. The guy that finished actually saddled up to the bar and watched the harp-guitarist during his meal. I want to compliment Nicole behind the bar, who gave us spotless service during our stay. Can't speak for the service out on the floor, but Nicole definitely made our visit much better. Definitely recommend it, and see you there next time we are in town...

Went here for a concert and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere! It's a very laid-back venue with lots of seating and full table service. There is an upstairs and downstairs area, but both spaces have a great view of the stage. Our server was very nice and attentive even though we did not order a lot. My friend got the chili, and said it was great! Would definitely come here for another concert!

Having chili nachos with some good local brews, food is very tasty and server is very attentive, waiting on the music to start. We ordered the nachos with extra jalapeño's and queso cheese Very tasty that way. Would highly recommend this place.

Such a fun club to watch local bands. Some tables. Plenty of standing room. Great acoustics. The bartenders are fast and efficient. Cocktail prices are on par with other venues. I had a great time seeing Guilty Pleasures.

Headliner stage left - rugs and mic stand should have been my clue - oops.

Great music spot ... Wifey and I saw Ray Wylie Hubbard and loved the show and venue. Keeping this review short given all the other similar comments - in summary * great sound - lots of good seating * free parking in front lot - goes quick. * arrive b4 doors open for a great seat * arrive semi early for a good seat (hour early) * arrive last minute to stand at bar * invite yourself to sit with others. * food is bar food plus ... good for concert venue * place order when u arrive - or u wait long time * watch balcony seating on left or right of stage - hanging speakers could get in way * when ordering drinks be specific about brand otherwise you get most expensive on menu :-/ Enjoy the show!!

Saturday Backstage Nashville was the ultimate highlight of our trip. We didn't want to mess around and just got a VIP reserved table. These seat four and are closest to the stage. Acoustics are great. Table service is on point. Good food/drink menu as well. The show is really cool as you see a variety of songwriters tell the stories of their songs and then sing them! Such wonderful talent. Daytime shows every Saturday at 12.30 pm. Great way to start the day!

You likely won't meet a bigger fan of live tunes than me, and this is one of my favorite venues for live tunes. I've been in Nashville 4 years now, and been to this joint, I'm roughly estimating, 20+ times. It's the best! There is not a bad seat in the house! Service is awesome, quick and kind. Location is great. Parking is spotty, but I 8/10 times find a spot. The music they bring in is fantastic. Totally my jam which is likely why I keep coming back. Favorites I've seen here: Beth Hart, Dave Alvin, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Kingfish, Alex Williams, Monty Montgomery. Have tickets to Ray Wylie Hubbard in April... cannot wait! Food stinks, but I don't care -- I'm not here for the food. Thanks for everything, guys! I promise to be back many more times.

Have tickets to saturday night show. Should I show up at doors (5:30) to eat dinner first? If tables are first come first serve, how would I eat dinner otherwise?

Arrive when they open. Seating is first come, first serve. They fill up quickly. You can order a full dinner there.

The Samantha Fish show is general admission. Will everyone with a ticket have access to seating?

I think all seating with tickets or without (buy at door if avail) is first come first serve. There is a lot of seating around the bar, and several seats at tables in the very back (sounds great, but can't see anything). I think I have in the past… Read more

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!

It paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce and those baked beans? OH MY GOD. The baked beans were seriously the star of the meal for me.. sweet, smoky, flavorful, and completely addicting. I could've eaten a whole bowl by myself The mac & cheese was also creamy and delicious, just solid comfort food all around. My husband loved his chicken too. Super juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all which is always a win with BBQ chicken. I also tried the Tennessee Sour and let me just say... they do not play around with drinks out here It was really good, but one more and I probably would've been done for the night lol. The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. We had read somewhere that Acme Feed & Seed (in an historic 1890 building) offered a quieter alternative. We gathered around a nice table near the stage on the first floor, and maybe there were a dozen other people there? Yet, on the next Broadway block things were in full swing? We weren't complaining, but wondered why? The first floor at Acme has been described as a high-energy "Funky Tonk" atmosphere featuring a main stage for live music, a large bar, and fast-casual dining. Our band during our stage was even a little different than that, and what an enjoyable group is was! The Mudbug Stompers brought us the sounds of old-time jug bands, Dixieland jazz, blues, trains, baseball, and crawfish boils. Although this is a Nashville Band, we could have easy been on or around Bourbon Street in NOLA. I was particularly impressed with the trumpet player and the lead singer who played a mean mandolin. Add the string base, sax, and fiddle, and we experienced a very impressive whole. We were highly entertained and engaged, and we're still talking about the experience!
