Staff is extremely rude. During parking at their location I was very rudely told to "F off". Or to "Call the police if there was a problem." I was simply just trying to park near one of the members of their establishment. I am not sure if this was an employee or a member of the band. But, they did say they worked there. I was not at this location for their "service" but if that is how they treat strangers on the street, it must speak to their ethos of an organization. read more

I will always encourage folks to come here to see the best selection of live music in Nashville. It's a must!!!! Today we saw Bluegrass artists Seth Mulder and Midnight Run- wow! Lively, cohesive and entertaining band that is now responsible for my love of bluegrass! 5 talented artists- banjo, guitar, upright bass, fiddle and mandolin, and 3 terrific singers made this show fabulous . Our server Kayla was great and attentive, and we tried the Southwest egg rolls and now they are my new favorite thing to eat here. read more

Good venue for shows. Parking is limited. They have a handful of free spots out front if you get there super early. Otherwise, you have to use the scan/pay lot across the way. Plenty of tables. Food is typical bar food. Full bar available. Friendly service. read more

This was a quick scooter ride off the main drag, and we actually decided to check it out initially since my wife's name is Lindsey (and because of the reviews, of course). Cool, expansive, wrap around bar as you enter, with a big stage. We attended a radio event where one band was finishing up, and one performer was about to go on. Both were quite talented, and we looked afterward, and apparently we watched the #1 harp guitarist in the world, so that is something. Very quiet atmosphere, and we whispered our order for drinks. But, very cool, as each artist told stories about their songs in between. I can't speak for other events, as maybe it gets louder, but the quietness was sort of cool, as we felt like we were there for a unique experience, which we embraced. The guy that finished actually saddled up to the bar and watched the harp-guitarist during his meal. I want to compliment Nicole behind the bar, who gave us spotless service during our stay. Can't speak for the service out on the floor, but Nicole definitely made our visit much better. Definitely recommend it, and see you there next time we are in town... read more

Went here for a concert and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere! It's a very laid-back venue with lots of seating and full table service. There is an upstairs and downstairs area, but both spaces have a great view of the stage. Our server was very nice and attentive even though we did not order a lot. Amazing music and atmosphere, but the service is painfully slow. The live music and venue are top-notch, making for a great experience--if only the service matched. Drinks and food took an incredibly long time; we waited over an hour and 15 minutes, with one person at our table receiving their meal while the rest of us were left waiting. Spend a lot of money to see an act at this venue . Arrived an hour and a half early and it was already standing room only. The staff, if you could catch one, was VERY rude. We didn't spend any money on food or drinks , and we left before the show even started. We will NEVER be back, and we will tell everyone about your terrible venue read more

Very horrible experience. I was there with 2 friends celebrating celebrating my birthday. There was an incident involving 2 other patrons sitting near us. My guy friend stepped in to try to defuse the situation, which worked, but management butted into the situation AFTER it was already resolved and began screaming at my friend, threatening to throw him out, when all he did was try to explain. Management dismissed me when I tried to explain. I will never step foot back there. I will not be treated that way by anyone. These "guys" think they can treat people any way they like and I have an issue with that! read more

We've been here several times for various musical events. The upper seating is rather dark but gives you a great view of the stage. The sound is always on point with a great sound system. The temperature inside has been good in warm weather. Although sitting on the outside one winter's evening was rather chilly. Service has always been good. The food is just ok. We've had the potato skins which were dried out. The Willies chili cheese nachos were very bland. The Caesar salad was very tasty. Our friend said the burger was good. I really haven't had anything memorable. Excellent beer selection. The music is always great and will keep me coming back. read more

You likely won't meet a bigger fan of live tunes than me, and this is one of my favorite venues for live tunes. I've been in Nashville 4 years now, and been to this joint, I'm roughly estimating, 20+ times. It's the best! There is not a bad seat in the house! Service is awesome, quick and kind. Location is great. Parking is spotty, but I 8/10 times find a spot. The music they bring in is fantastic. Totally my jam which is likely why I keep coming back. Favorites I've seen here: Beth Hart, Dave Alvin, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Kingfish, Alex Williams, Monty Montgomery. Have tickets to Ray Wylie Hubbard in April... cannot wait! Food stinks, but I don't care -- I'm not here for the food. Thanks for everything, guys! I promise to be back many more times. read more

Saturday Backstage Nashville was the ultimate highlight of our trip. We didn't want to mess around and just got a VIP reserved table. These seat four and are closest to the stage. Acoustics are great. Table service is on point. Good food/drink menu as well. The show is really cool as you see a variety of songwriters tell the stories of their songs and then sing them! Such wonderful talent. Daytime shows every Saturday at 12.30 pm. Great way to start the day! read more

We visited here on Mon 9/25/23 We arrived a bit early and had to wait until doors opened at 6pm. This place was recommended by an old high school classmate Jim Hoke who is a long time recording session musician in Nashville, TN. His local knowledge guided us to the reason we visited Nashville - authentic Western Swing music by The Time Jumpers. These pro session musicians are the best in the business. A lively set of tunes from 8-9:30pm. As my bride said: "This music is the reason I always wanted to come to Nashville." Thanks again Jim Hoke. We did have dinner here at the bar. Ribeye steak w/ 2 veg ($20) came hot & med as ordered. I have my 1st Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich-tender chicken thigh perfectly good to crunchy outside & tender, moist on the inside w/ a tangy spicy hot sauce ($15.50). Delicious! Good tequila & club ($10) & pinot grigio ($8). The bartender, Amanda was very pleasant & helpful on a busy night. NOTE: for this show there were about 300 people at table seating, the max capacity is 700 for specific shows. And there are no bad seats and the sound is great. Highly recommended band & venue. What a great afternoon we had at 3rd and Lindsley! We attended the Singer/Songwriter show they had last week. The 2 Grammy winning songwriters told stories of how the songs came to be and drew in the audience when the beautiful songs were performed. The up and coming singers were as engaging and entertaining. The food was subpar. I ordered chicken and sausage gumbo. There was no chicken to be found. I question the server about the whereabouts of the chicken and she said it was sausage only. I showed her the menu, where it clearly stated chicken and sausage. She replied with, "oh...". I only ate about 1/3 of it, as the flavors just weren't there. My fiancé had chili and said it was just okay. I'd recommend eating before attending a show here. Definitely look into seeing a Singer/Songwriter event. This beats hanging out on Broadway any day. Thanks for a lovely afternoon! read more

This venue is amazing. That being said, I went to 3rd and Lindsley with a purpose, to hear Christone "Kingfish" Ingram play some blues in Nashville, TN and Kingfish put on one phenomenal show! If you've never seen him, you should. You WILL be a fan! I was fortunate enough to meet and hear this young man when he was just 15 at a blues club in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and had the pleasure of sitting next to his sweet momma. As an additional bonus, at 3rd and Lindsley, we sat with Ms Thornetta Davis, and her handsome husband James. She's the blues Queen of Detroit! We were blessed beyond measure that night! Thornetta even sent me one of her CD's (because it was my birthday night) and it's so great that we listen to her and Kingfish all the time when we're riding on the bike. I hope someday they get together and sing, I can travel! Our bad experience was our server. She charged for premium, without asking, and took so long to bring the drinks they were watered down when we received them. My husband asked for a Guinness, and after 30 minutes went to the bar to just cancel it. Our server saw him there and grabbed the Guinness and popped the top. My husband said he'd just canceled it, and she said she couldn't put it back. When our bill came, and we saw all the charges weren't correct, we asked for a manager. He gave my husband $2.50 cash for the beer, but nothing about all the watery upcharges. If you go, watch your credit card VERY closely... or be very wise, pay cash. read more

We had wanted to hear music and this visit was excellent with 5 Nashville songwriters. The song writers were excellent and we enjoyed the songs they sung. The food was good and priced fairly. The club was nice and we sat ourselves and there was open seating. We had a great experience and would attend again. This is a great way to experience Nashville away from the busy downtown area. read more

What a great place to come to. Went here for singer songwriter on a Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm. Come early as seats are first come basis and my wife and I got some of the last seats. Although I don't know much about country music, hearing the song writers tell the stories behind what I assume are some well known country songs, was a real treat. Then, they sang the songs, and these writers can sing! It felt like a very special performance that perhaps many folks visiting Nashville don't know about. Drinks were nice here too. Didn't eat anything so not sure about the food. This is a special place for sure, come here if you can. read more

This is a great location for amazing live music! They also have a full menu for what looked to be great food but we didn't eat here during our visit (see my review for Uncle Buds Catfish). There is limited capacity with tables distanced throughout. No dancing is allowed (excepting "sit down chair dancing) and when you get up to go out or to the restroom you are required to wear your mask. The entire staff wore masks from the waitresses to the kitchen/bar staff to the sound engineer. They had two shows in one night and if you wanted to see the second show everyone is required to go outside and get in line while they did a thorough cleaning. I was one of the last in line to leave and stopped by the restroom, where I witnessed the staff doing a great job cleaning using great products and disinfectants. I appreciate all the efforts of this venue. read more

What a wonderful treat!!! Went to see George Birge and Matt Stell - both were amazing young artists. So talented and fun to watch. It was a sold out show and lots of people ended up standing. Lots of 4 seat tables with only 2 people seated. They probably could have encouraged people to make friends and sit together so everyone could get a seat. Fortunately we read reviews which suggested that you arrive by 6:30 for 7:30 show. So glad we did and got a seat. Dinner was pretty good. I ordered pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans. Like home cooked, not gourmet, but tasty and not typical bar food. Friends got finger friendly food and were happy with their choices. Server was good, friendly and checked on us frequently. Ambiance was good. Clean, cute, and a place I'd likely return. read more
