I have never met a more significant yoga teacher than Becky. She can trace her yoga lineage back to India a few generations. She has learned from some of the major yoga practitioners of the 20th century and some who are credited with bringing yoga to the United States. She truly teaches yoga holistically for the person that is in front of her. this is not the kind of school you go to if you want to learn 200 hours of Asana. This is the school you go to to be a lifelong yoga practitioner, student, and teacher. If you want to learn yoga, real yoga, as deep as you are willing to go, this is where you go. We drive from about an hour away to go to class, and it is worth every second. It is affordable from a yoga class perspective and she will teach you what you need to learn. And you will learn far beyond what you ever expected was even real. Would you like to stare into the abyss? Would you like to uncover deep truths about reality? This yoga school is not for everyone and that's okay. But this yoga school is for me. I only wish I had begun going earlier and could go more often. The pool can get crowded on the weekends but there is still plenty of room. The equipment is not brand new but every machine and free weight i have used is in working condition. I even worked there in college and this is a first-hand review of my experience and my feelings about how the club handles the safety of its' older members, two of whom are my parents. The fact that Franco's got my original review taken down instead of absorbing the feedback and addressing safety concerns shows they care more about their reputation than safety. I stand by my original review... I'd like to reiterate, please enter at your own risk. There are trainers and employees who are not vaxxed and working closely indoors with members in their 60s, 70s, and 80s who could be at risk because of the selfishness and irresponsibility of Franco's, it's staff, and policies. Is there a vaccine mandate in Mandeville? No. Can businesses implement one? Yes. In my opinion, to hide behind the, "no mandate" defense is lazy and puts profits before safety. We were incredibly disappointed and horrified to learn one of the trainers who works with my elderly members including my dad, had Covid and was unvaxxed. How many days do you think this trainer showed up to work as a carrier before testing positive? It's unclear and scary to think about. Of course getting Covid isn't anyone's fault... But to knowingly and willingly go to work in an indoor environment with people who are elderly and choose not to be vaccinated, all with permission of your employer, is dangerous. I don't think it's unfair or unkind to warn people of a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment. I'd like to offer a suggestion - if you are not going to require vaccinations of your staff, I'd recommend only having those trainers who are vaccinated, teach/train members 60+.

When I signed my name on the dotted line to have my account deducted for $200 per month which included 2 stretches per week in my mind I was headed towards having my issues taken care of. Well, as you all know life gets in the way and some of these types of appointments are not made but yet life continues to move forward. Fast forward I am owed 11 stretches and decided to call and freeze my account until I can catch up on my stretches that I purchased. Guess what ladies and gentleman... they revoked all 11 of my stretches and also told me that if I wanted to freeze my account they would charge me $10 per month! (LOL) NONE OF THIS WAS EXPLAINED AT MY SIGNING. The employees there are great...!!! Besides the young female who explained none of this to me. If I would have known this, aint no way in HELL I would have joined this organization. I politely canceled my account, lost my stretches and have moved on.

Tues and Thurs kids BJJ classes are at 5pm & 5:45pm. Adult classes begin around 6:30pm til about 7:30pm. Also Shield Maiden Yoga on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-10:00am. First class is free and $5 drop in classes there afterwards unless you are a BJJ member. My kids have been going to the BJJ classes for almost two years now and I started in March of 2019 and we have all learned so much! Chris and Christy are both amazing instructors!
