Buyer beware! If you want to cancel your membership, they make it almost impossible to do so. I have read other reviews on here about others having the same problem. Even though THEY communicated with me via text, when I let them know via text a month in advance that I wanted to cancel and they responded- that wasn't okay, I had to go there in person to cancel. They continued to charge my credit card. I contested the charge with my credit card company and immediately they threatened to send me to collections. Of course, I didn't want that on my credit report, so I had no choice except to pay. I spoke with my attorney, who concurred that their business practices are unethical and the contract they make you sign is ambiguous. Others have mentioned- it's 2026, everything is done electronically- I cancel memberships. subscriptions etc via the internet- why not get with the times!? They just want your $$$. It is difficult to schedule classes they are almost always full, you can get wait listed-but you won't know if you get in until you get up in the morning. they charge $25 if you don't show for a class, won't let you in if you are more than 5 min late (unless you know someone there). WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING Club Pilates IN MANDEVILLE -- PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING A CONTRACT. My experience with this studio has been extremely disappointing. I sustained a back injury associated with classes at this studio and later provided medical documentation, including physician evaluation and MRI results. Despite the medical circumstances and discussions regarding cancellation of my membership, my account continued being charged after my membership had been frozen and after cancellation had already been addressed. In addition, I was later presented with extra fees without proper explanation or clear contractual justification. Multiple written requests for clarification went unanswered. After reading other reviews, I became concerned that ongoing billing issues, post-cancellation charges, and poor communication may not be isolated incidents. I strongly encourage anyone considering membership to carefully review the contract, monitor all billing activity, and keep detailed written records of every interaction with management. read more

The classes are great. The times are TERRIBLE. Rarely do they have anyone answering the phone. They charge to freeze an account. To cancel your account you have to go in person. Me and my wife, Carolee, joined at the very beginning. They had their hiccups and so did we with our schedules, but they were very helpful and accommodating. We found classes that fit our needs In skill and variety. The coaches are excellent in every way and they think about safety and ask for medical issues you have before every class. I highly recommend Club Pilates for people who are beginners or have some experience at low to mid level which is why we like it and it fits our needs perfectly. If I could give this place a zero, I would. I signed up for the unlimited class membership @ $206 per month. What they don't tell you is that each time you book a class and then have to cancel, they charge you $20, even though you pay for unlimited classes. I even cancelled through the app to allow someone else to have my spot, and they still charged me the same amount that they charge for those who just don't show up, which I think is very poor service. Due to a medical issue that prevents me from exercising some days, I ended up paying between $230 and $260 a month after all was said and done. Then I found out that I could get personal training twice a week with a certified trainer and nutritionist through a local gym for the same price! So, I called to cancel Club Pilates, only to be told that I had to physically go in to sign papers. When I arrived on a Monday afternoon during hours of operation, I was locked out, and nobody answered my knocks or phone calls, so I sent an email explaining that I was there and requesting cancellation in writing. They responded a few days later and said that was not acceptable and that I needed to go back. Their excuse was that someone was sick that day so they couldn't open. I'm not sure that I should be inconvenienced due to their mismanagement, but that's what they said. I asked for the owner's contact information and was denied! On top of that, they said they will charge me for one more month once I cancel so that "I can still access the gym as often as I'd like!" I told them I was not interested in another month's access. But apparently, that's hidden in the small print of the contract. This place is not out to improve the lives of their customers. They are out for themselves and your money, and they will screw you out of money anyway they can. DO NOT SIGN. There are much better gym options out there! read more

This place is the BEST! I started Pilates here as a complete beginner - not much flexibility or strength at all. The instructors and management are so helpful in correcting posture and keeping every movement safe, no matter your injuries or skill level. I love every class and come 4-5 a week with my unlimited membership! HIGHLY recommend coming in for the free intro session - you will be HOOKED! read more

Alright, honestly. This place is a complete scam. When i signed up, the receptionist failed to tell me A LOT. So I'm gonna share with y'all in hope you can make the right decision for yourself. They force you into a three month term for your membership. Which at first I was fine with. I was super super excited to start Pilates here. Little did I know... it's almost impossible to schedule a level one class. I was told they have so many classes every day for level 1. The class availability is extremely limited. Also, If you cancel a few hours before your class you lose your class credit. Classes are also so booked that they normally have a 3-4 person wait list. So if you just so happen to have to reschedule your class... good luck getting into a later class time lol. I had to cancel my 0630 today because I got home from my nursing job at 0200. Why am I being penalized for wanting a different class time??? Management acts like they wanna help you but then they won't add any classes to full fill the demand for level 1 classes. It's pathetic and ridiculous. And a waste of money imo. Not to mention if you want to cancel because you are literally unable to attend their classes.. they want to charge you for the next month and charge you $100 to cancel. Lmao. I can't believe the customer service with the manager at club Pilates Mandeville. I was with another establishment ( Pilates embodyment which was amazing but not affordable for me right now w the amount of classes I wanted to take). Club Pilates told me Everything I wanted to hear. Classes until 9 pm and sat until 5 AS THE HOURS ARE PERMANENTLY ETCHED ON THEIR STORE FRONT. After joining and being charged 165 the original problem was the facility did not meet the opening date. Then the hours changed due to staff and training and one weekend it was closed completely. You had to take an intro class before getting started that was FREE to non members. After 13 days in a row w no classes that would fit the schedule promised to me I requested a refund of the 165. I was told not only that I could not have a refund but I would get charged 100 cancellation fee!!!! For 1 free class that's what I was charged. The best she could do was push my NEXT payment of 165 out for two weeks which by the way was crazy by the hours still didn't and I don't think we're ever going to be what was promised and advertised on the door. She kept saying contract contract contract. So basically I signed a contract that was not what was promised and they had no problem w that but I had to stick to my contract. this is a scam organization and Sarah the GM is the leader of this theft ring - they make it very hard for you to cancel after your 3 month commitment- I talked to Sarah personally to officially cancel and she assured me that my membership was canceled- 3 months later I find that she's still deducting $159 a month from my bank account - my bank talked to them because I filed a dispute and she informed them that I'm still a member even though I haven't attended a class once since I canceled- Google " how to cancel a Club Pilates membership " and you will find many people having the same problem with canceling membership- their system is set up to rob you - i would avoid this organization and find a more legit one read more

Complete waste of time for the money. As a person who has enjoyed pilates for over 20 years and new to the area, I was very excited that a pilates studio had opened up. If you are new to pilates and do not want much of a challenge, this is a good place for you to go, although very expensive for what you are receiving in return. If you are in any kind of shape at all, you will be extremely bored with the slow pace. Everyone, no matter your skill level, are forced to do the same routine, same class.
