I have responded politely the first three times knowing that someone has transposed my phone number. Having worked in Health Care I grasp that their real patient very likely is not receiving appt reminders nor test results because their messaging system called " Klara" which is a combo of software and AI is glitching due to an input error. I have left texts, left voicemails and spoken to office personnel, one of whom told me the practice was having issues with messages going to folks other than their patients. This person attempted to tell me that one of their patients and myself shared the same phone number and that their patient was ignoring messages which is why I got messages despite not being a patient. I tried to tell them that in the US two different individuals don't have identical phone numbers while living in different states. I would be cautious about using this practice until they straighten out their medical records and messaging system.

The procedure included an upper blepharoplasty, platysmaplasty of my neck, and SMAS facelift. In addition, I underwent an CO2 laser treatment. Prior to these procedures. I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Despite my nervousness prior to the procedures, he said that was normal and on the day of my procedures, he put me at ease the entire time. His surgical staff was also top-notch and I am grateful to them as well. We here in Bellingham are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lichtenberger in our community. I am so happy with my results as I heal more and more every day and can't wait to see my end results in the next few months!

My 17-year-old daughter phoned to make a routine followup appointment for acne treatment but was told that "the doctor was referring her elsewhere," for unspecified reasons. I happened to overhear this conversation and thought that was really odd, so I phoned the office for clarification. I was told the same thing. I then asked which doctor we'd be referred to, and the answer was, any other doctor we wanted to go to. When I inquired whether there was some reason that Dr. Kallal didn't want to treat my daughter, the person I spoke with said that she didn't know anything. Before this, my family has generally had cordial and respectful relationships with physicians, including Dr. Kallal, so this was a real shock. Since Dennis Ainsworth wrote a Google review for Birch Bay Dermatology 11 months ago that documented a similar "referral" issue, I can only conclude that this is a method that Dr. Kallal uses to rid herself of patients she doesn't want to treat.

Debra brought her in to meet me on my last visit and I found her to be truly caring, thoughtful and extremely well trained. Last year I had a psychologically traumatic facelift by what turned out to be a condescending and dismissive local provider. I had been a patient off and on for years and thought I could trust this person. He had told me that I would be kept comfortable during the procedure but while under "anesthesia" I saw the other side of his personality. I was wide awake and horrified the whole time so I nervously chattered away, trying to make myself believe it wasn't so bad. I won't go into all the horrific details. Even though the actual results were ok I will NEVER go back to that provider for anything. I was SO happy to find RejuvenationMD! Debra provided ideas and then treatments that fixed the areas that the facelift missed. She knows how to treat older women and I have heard she is excellent with younger clients as well. Dr Dank removed a melanoma on my face 2 years ago in his office. My personal care physician did…read morenot see it because it was during masking for Covid but I told of my concern and got a referral. I return for follow up checks with Dr Dank and trust him as a caring physician as well as a skilled surgeon. Dr Dank took many very fine stitches and left a fine line scar that I believe no one notices, because no one asks about it. His surgical nurse Sarah is wonderful and made me comfortable through the procedure. Thank you Dr Dank, you are my most relied upon medical practitioner.
