This is my second time coming here and honestly I can say I am very satisfied with this lash spot. The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly. I was able to purchase a Groupon the first time and I paid full price the second time. The Groupon was a great deal and I was very satisfied with the results so I decided to return. Their decor is very cute and they play very peaceful music in the background which makes the experience very calming. I got the premium mink 90 piece set the first time and it lasted me a whole month! I have never had lashes last me that long. It is located right across the bay terrace mall and there is plenty of residential parking around. read more

I think I've found my eyelash extension place! Honestly I didn't think I would especially during this pandemic but I did! I was recommended to this place by a friend and I haven't stopped coming since. I've been here a total of 4 times now and I am very pleased with the results. They give you a stamp card and every 6th visit will be half off of the extension set you pick. Don't forget to bring that stamp card with you every time you go! (They mark it down in their computer but still, better for yourself to remember too!) Customer service is great. I believe there are 3 lash technicians total. They respond in a timely manner whether it is calling or texting and they are super friendly as well. I believe cleanliness is great but maybe could be better because the most recent visit, there were a speck of something dark on the side of the bed and I wasn't sure what it was. Other than that, everything seems to be clean and good. The lash technicians also wear masks, and although I have my eyes closed right when I lie down, I do hear them sanitize before starting! What I also love about them is, besides making my lashes look amazing, is that I asked them for recommendations the first visit and what they think will be best for my eye shape. They gave me an honest thought and told me what length and what style would be best on my eyes and I whole heartedly appreciate that a lot. I have always had thin and short lashes my whole life and it makes a whole lot of a difference when these lash extensions really enhances my eyes. I usually do silk lashes, 12mm or 13mm, C-Curl, Natural style, and roughly 80-100 pieces of lashes. It usually takes them around 1 hour to do my lashes. I've gotten so many compliments on my lashes and it makes me extremely happy! Pricing is also absolutely great compared to other places I've been to! I have gotten my lashes done many times prior to this experience but this is my first time during a pandemic. Bayside Eyelash Extension follows safety protocols to keep their customers safe. Sanitizing hands upon arrival, temperature checks, enforcing masks, lash tech wearing a face shield, etc. I visited this establishment around Thanksgiving and only finding the time to review this now. I found this place through Groupon and was able to make an appointment without any issues. The lash tech took about an hour to complete my lash extensions. I got the 80 pieces, cat eye, 14mm and was pleasantly surprised by how they turned out and have received many compliments about my lashes. It has now been months later without any touch ups and I still have some of the lashes left on both eye. This place is seriously a gem and I would recommend anyone looking to get lash extensions to give this place a go. I for one know I'll be back! read more

PREFACE: The following review does NOT reflect the work but rather some important information about a recent appointment. I've been happily visiting this place steadily every three weeks for close to three years. Always getting the same eyelashes and using the same tech. Never, ever an issue of any kind. On this most current appointment, Thursday July 6th, something changed. That afternoon i started feeling feverish and achy. I thought maybe I was just dehydrated because of the intense heat of the day. I took some Tylenol, hydrated and went about my day. The next morning, I woke up to a VERY SCARY sight. HUGE, swollen, red eyes! I immediately called the lash place and sent a photo. They told me to come right away and have them removed and they will refund my money. They assured me that nothing had changed as far as product. The physician at CITY MD said while that may be true, the formula may have changed. She also said 'get yourself to the ER immediately'. Long story short and three days in the hospital later, the swelling and allergic reaction subsided. Two rounds of intravenous antibiotics and steroids helped. And now at home another nine days orally of both meds. In conclusion, this post is just as a heads up of what's possible. Please be careful and ask questions read more

Bought a Groupon deal for this location amongst many to choose from. Did sexy, c curl 12mm. Results came out fantastic- natural looking but sexy at the same time. They were very flexible with their appointment and easy to communicate with. The whole process took about an hour. Some places make my eyes red and irritated after completion but this place did not. I went in Saturday July 31 and one week later one eye looks great! Very few lashes fell out but the other eye is horrible. At least 1/2 the eyelashes are gone and it's a noticeable difference. If I was home from vacation I would be going back in for them to fix. read more

If you want beautiful eyelashes custom made for your gorgeous eyes, this is the place to be. The salon is easy to find across the street from the Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Bayside. It's at ground level with a welcoming entrance on 26th Ave. around the corner from Bell Blvd. The salon is immaculate with gentle music playing. The staff are highly skilled. The price is competitively affordable. You'll lay on your back on a table while the eyelash technician gently cleans your eyelids. After that, each lash is carefully applied with a tiny drop of eye-friendly glue. In about 45 min. to an hour, you'll have perfect lashes, and your face will look stunning. The lashes gradually fall out within a few weeks. So make sure you stop by for a fill-in to touch up your lashes at a lower price than a full set. I'm thrilled with my lashes, and I keep going back. I decided on trying out Fay Lashes since it was only a 2-block walk from my apartment. I was thrilled after my first appointment for a new set, they really went above and beyond in making sure the style was exactly what I wanted and took care in giving me soft and voluminous lashes. Unfortunately, every other appointment over the next 6 months was a disappointment. At first, I expressed to them that the long inner corners were uncomfortable and poking my eyes, and requested they be shortened but they told me I had to buy a brand new set if I wanted that done - which, as you all know, is much more expensive than a routine fill appointment. Second, once you're done they make you hold the fan to dry the glue yourself and basically try to rush you out the door even if your eyes are still tearing from the fumes. The studio owner and tech is amazing! (Her name is Alena or Elena?) I was so impressed, I had to jump on here and rave! The studio is located in a professional office building and not on a ground floor business front. I wasn't expecting all that but was so pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful shop, fresh and new and sparkling clean! Such a cute pampering vibe - I was welcomed and we sat to have a consultation. She was great at answering my questions and going over all of the various options. I went for C-Curl, length 12. And can I say again how awesome she was? She is by far the most meticulous and experienced lash tech I have ever been to. She was so thorough (so if you're in a rush or the type that wants in and out - you're out of luck!) - she was gentle and took her time - carefully adjusting and rechecking until the very end. You'll see in my other reviews - I am a huge advocate for giving recognition to local neighborhood businesses that really do things right. We want these businesses to thrive and stay around!
