I went to Dazzling Eye back in September 2025 and had a very nice experience while I was there. The salon is clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the stylist was professional and informative. I told her I wanted a very natural look, and my lashes came out exactly like that. She recommended the pricier lash options, saying they would be better for my eyes because they are lighter, but it felt like the focus was more on the expensive options. I also noticed that other reviews mentioned the same thing. The issue I had was that my lashes started falling out much earlier than expected, literally within the first few days going into the second week, even though I do not wear makeup, do not use any oil-based products, and did not rub my eyes. I did my lashes here today for my vacation and was very disappointed. When you purchase the Groupon they will try their best to upsell you on the upgrades. I know that I did the 60 lashes but after an hour she told me that mink lashes were not for me because of how thin my lashes are. I've done my lashes before plenty of times and I always do mink. They always look nice and full and that's with 70 lashes. The fact that the 60 lashes looked very light and one side was longer than the other was very disappointing because I would have paid regular price somewhere else and be happy. She also poked me up a few times which was very scary. I had to tell her to please be careful because I never experienced that before while doing my lashes. She saw how upset I was and I showed her pictures of my previous lashes and she tried to tell me that in other places one lash may be considered multiple. Regardless of that, they were also not even and it honestly didn't even look like I had my lashes done. After I kept insisting that it didn't look like 60 lashes, she said she can add more but it'll cost extra. I wanted to get them removed but I was scared for her to touch my eyes again. While I was leaving she asked me for her tip and I told her that I'm not happy with the service. I always tip generously and I felt really bad leaving without a tip, but at the end of the day the priority was to upsell me and make more money rather than making sure I was actually satisfied. Bought a livingsocial deal and booked an appointment easily. I showed up late to my appointment but they were reasonable about it and still accommodated me. I chose my size, style and type (mink). They were promoting silk because it is thinner and lighter. There was also an additional cost. I reiterated that I wanted mink. During the procedure, I overheard a customer asking about the differences between all the types of extensions (mink, natural, silk etc) and the responses seem rather off-putting since the replies weren't answering the question. For example - a customer asked what is mink? Isn't it animal fur? The reply was no, it isn't. The customer asks, so what is it? The reply was not an animal. The conversation went on and ended pretty much how it started. Very odd.. You should probably know what is being used as it is attached to your real eyelashes and near your eye. Anyways, my procedure is finished and the lady tells me that she used silk instead of mink because it is better for my thin eyelashes. Here I am thinking, oh wow, that was really nice of her to do that and not charge me. The procedure took about an hour which is usual. The lady was uber nice and I received a mascara brush as a souvenir - I love when they do this. One week later, half of my eyelash extensions fell off. 1.5 weeks later, I barely have any remaining. 2 weeks later, I have none. Well, this sucks. I felt scammed at this dusty and unsanitary place. I used a Groupon and they " bait and switched" my offer, my bill went from $21 to a whopping g $65 , total of$85 to see my end result uneven. I really dislike to post bad reviews but " bait and switch " is an old scam. I will NOT be returning and I urge you to stay away from this sloppy salon. I called for the groupon deal and they told me to bring cash instead of paying for Groupon for the Premium Silk. I kept asking for a price quote and they would not tell me. When I arrived, they quoted me 30% off instead of the 50% off Groupon because it was premium silk...I already drove 20 minutes to be there and had difficulty parking so I just said okay fine I'll give it a chance. I asked for 2D PS. They clearly do not know what this means. Lash extensions are suppose to be one extension per lash or volume lashes (multiple extensions) ON ONE LASH. Not on multiple lashes. Instead, to save time, she put 2 extensions on CLUMPS of my natural lashes. Of course it will look nice out the salon but, after a few days, natural lashes will grow at different rates making it VERY uncomfortable. This picture was taken 3 days after my appointment. Lashes are falling out and you can see it is a terrible job. The purple arrows show my natural lashes, mind you there are 2 of my natural lashes at different angles glued to extensions (blue arrow). Unfortunately, this is the case with at least 50% of my lashes. I want to start this review off by saying that I've been a customer at Dazzling Eye for the past two or so years. I've never had an issue before and that is why I have kept going back. However, today was the most painful eyelash extension experience I have ever had in my life. I have never had an experience of getting eyelash extensions this painful to the point where I broke down in tears. As soon as I laid down, my lash technician Anna seemed frustrated and stressed as she and the other lash technician Ben spoke in Chinese about how behind they were timing wise. Anna was very aggressive placing the tape on my eyes and the tape itself was inside of my eyes. I told her that the tape was very uncomfortable and she sloppily adjusted it because it felt like there was a gap. She then started to apply the lashes. It felt like pins and needles in my eyes, I was getting jabbed and pinched by the tweezer and my eyes started to burn from the glue because my eyes were not taped shut properly. I kept telling Anna that I was in pain in both English and Chinese, she only apologized once. I had asked her to stop and to take off all the lashes but she said because she was almost done let's see how it feels when the lashes are finished and I open my eyes. When she was finished with the lashes, my eyes were on fire, my eyes were extremely sensitive, and everytime I blinked it felt like there were needles stabbing into my eyes. It was the most painful experience. I told Anna about how painful it was and she said that she'll take off a couple lashes from each corner. Instead of starting the whole taping process again she just started picking at my eyelashes, poking and pinching me once again. I started crying and asking her to stop, to which she replied "Please don't make a scene, it's not a good look for the other customers." But I kept crying as I was in pain, she then apologized and said "不好意思." I wanted to take off the entire set of lashes but Anna stated that she doesn't have enough time because the next client had already arrived. So she welcomed the next client and after that ignored me. I felt upset because she was more concerned about the next client and "saving face" versus trying to right her wrong. Anna also tried to say that I was a new client and that in the computer I had only purchased one package in the past. Thankfully I have saved receipts in my wallet from the multiple eyelash packages I have purchased in the past to prove to her that I have been a loyal customer and have never had an issue until today. After that Anna had nothing to say and then she started helping the next client. Then I left and just told myself that I will never come back. But as I got back to the car, my eyes were still burning and it felt like needles were in my eyes still. So I went back and asked for the managers number. The manager was very nice, accommodating, and understanding. The manager spoke to Anna and told her to take off the eyelashes that were causing me pain and spoke to me over the phone as well. The eyelash removal process was slightly less painful but still I was pinched and jabbed numerous times. I still have residual lash glue on my natural lashes. I felt so relieved to have all the painful lashes removed. I hope no one else ever has to go through this experience. I am thankful that the manager is nice but this experience makes me so cautious of eyelash extensions. It was awful. read more

I really wanted to like this place but it was mediocre. First off, the ladies at the front desk were super judgy and made me feel uncomfortable as soon as I walked in. I got a groupon prior to reading other yelp reviews. After reading I was quite hesitant to go in but nonetheless went because I had already purchased the groupon. I paid an extra $25 to get the premium silk cause the mink was really hard. The second time I had went in I got the package deal. This lady made it known that I got the package deal which I guess means I get to be the guinea pig or whatever. The lady that did my lashes was really fast and it felt like she was just rushing to get me out and just put my lashes anywhere. When I first started coming here in '17, service was great. They lashes came out really nice and stayed on forever. After taking a year hiatus to give my eyelashes a rest, I came back and tried their 70 lash groupon deal because it was super affordable and I've always had great experiences with this place. This time around, I can't begin to tell you how bad the service was. The girl at the front desk had an attitude when I asked her questions and the eyelashes came out looking like shit. There were barely any lashes in and I had to ask them to put more in (paid extra $20 extra for this). Eyelashes looked slightly better but a week after, i started feeling pain every time i blinked. This happens when lash technicians don't isolate lashes/are lazy and glue lashes together, so when the lashes grow out they get stuck together. Honestly, the lashes came out better after I had them fixed up and I got compliments on them, but it's not worth it for the pain your lashes will go through. My advice, come here if you want your eyelashes to feel like shit and in pain for weeks because people don't know how to do their jobs. The ppl there was super rude and judgy cause I had walked in asking if they are doing the Groupon deal. They asked me not to buy the Groupon and just pay them cash. They basically did my lashes super quick and I remember the glue smelling super toxic like super glue. They were rushing me out, didn't even say thank you or goodbye. The lashes came out looking okay but then when u examined closer you saw all ur lashes stuck together. Fast forward, I went back to my normal lash place and the poor technicians were sighing and shaking there head the whole way through trying to fix the sloppy ass job this place did. They were telling me how they messed up the lashes with the glue and its so hard to remove the bad glue without messing up my real lashes. Long story short- just don't come here. Save ur money, save ur time, save ur lashes. They don't give two flying f**ks about ur lashes. Probably if u spend $$$ they would kiss ur ass and do it better. I've had extensions elsewhere prior to Dazzling Eye and I don't recall ever feeling this much discomfort and pinching during the process. I must've had a newbie but it was not a comfortable experience, which it usually is for me. I usually pass out for the hour. Also the language barrier was a bit inconvenient to the point where she didn't understand basic, relevant questions which would be asked commonly. Would've been more helpful to get someone to help translate instead of staring at me. When I looked at my lashes at the end, my left eye could've had several more at the end. I unfortunately have a lot fewer lashes than average, so I had asked her if she used all 60 bc it didn't look like it (and I've been told before by other lash parlors that I don't have enough lashes to use all 60) but this technician said yes without explaining what others had explained to me before. The reviews they had were amazing and the pictures from other Yelpers looked incredible, so I gave them a go. I paid $80 for extensions that didn't look much longer than my natural lashes. About three days in, the extensions began to fall off, accompanied by my natural lashes. Five days in, my entire left eye still had the extensions and the right eye's extensions had totally fallen out. Some of my natural lashes are still there, but you can definitely notice that they are more sparse than ever before. I absolutely do NOT recommend going to this place. Walking in, there was a customer screaming at the girls at the top of his lungs, and the girls were rolling their eyes- warning signs already. The lady I had (whom I'm pretty sure is the boss) was nasty from beginning to end. When I asked for pictures of each style she told me to go on yelp and look myself. She asked me what size I wanted the lash extensions, and I asked her what the usual size was for a dramatic extension and she rolled her eyes and said didn't know. Honestly I don't spend much time writing bad reviews, but I don't want anyone else to be tricked into thinking this is a good place when it's not. This place is super unprofessional. It literally looks like the person applying has no form of OCD & on top of that, I had to tell her afterwards that there was an entire bare spot in the middle of my lashes. I used to really like the work they did here. Very clean and efficient but lately the quality has gone down. Even following aftercare instructions for lash extensions, my last two appointments I've had my lashes are falling out as soon as I walk out the door and required next day fill ins. I got my lashes done on Saturday, Sunday morning I had already returned as my lashes fell out significantly. They refilled them but now it's Wednesday three days later and again my lashes are almost halfway gone. I'm incredibly disappointed as I thought I had found a solid lash spot. Not sure what to do since I've only had them about five days at this point. I've attached pictures of the daily lash loss. My friend and I were both looking for a safe and great lash place to get our lashes done last minute. I turned to Yelp and found this place--it was totally worth it! We booked an appointment a day or two in advanced, and the workers were okay with it. (I believe walk-ins are allowed as well.) As a first time customer, we received a promotional offer of $60 for 100 mink lashes. I chose a dramatic look with a C curl and went with 12 in length. After about an hour and a half, we were all done and the results were amazing! The lashes were longer and fuller than what I had gotten the first time I got lash extensions (at different location.) I received so many compliments as well as my friend, and hers looked super natural which was what she was going for. Personally for me, they lasted three weeks, but for my friend it's been 4 weeks and counting. (I feel like how long the lashes last, really depends on the individual themselves.) TERRIBLE would be putting it nicely!!!! I went in and had a technician named Ramona. I came in and after speaking to one of the technicians, was talked into purchasing a package of 3 for gorgeous style lashes. I showed the technician Ramona 3 PICTURES of the look and style I wanted. Although she was very nice, it looked nothing like what I had asked for and looked like nothing. When I told them how I felt about it , I was met with arrogance and they tried to convince me that every place is different and therefore the length I asked for did not coincide with what I had. I tried to explain that I did not know that material mattered and that I showed them pics in order to match what I wanted. I was talked down to and they were clearly annoyed. After going back and forth and me trying to explain , they were finally willing to add to it and do what I had ORIGINALLY asked for as if they were doing me a big favor. When she did this I looked and it was not even. She claimed there was nothing she can do. To make the whole thing worse, another client started getting nasty and scolding her for holding up her appt!!! Just an all around AWFUL experience where I spent $180 and left dissatisfied and upset. I enjoyed my experience here, I thought the young lady that did my lashes was knowledgeable and knew what she was doing. Came with a Groupon and decided to upgrade to premium silk for $25 more. I'm on day 2 and my lashes are super soft and comfortable. I would love for them to be a bit more sanitary as 2 out of 3 staffs got up a couple of times to get the phone and the door and immediately continued the lash session without cleaning their hands. I am a bit of a germaphobe so I notice these things more than anyone I know. The result came out great for me so would give it another shot for touch up. Also, On yelp it says that upon check in there is free eyebrow waxing with your service. I checked in and found out that they do not honor this and said they have no affiliation with yelp.
