First of all I found the add on craigslist saying that they were the best in the area and great service yada yada.. so I called to get a quote and I have never felt so rushed in my life.. Why has she updated her review???...Anyhow, I have been going to this locksmith ever since I can remember them being at their location, I started my business down the same main street in 1979. I have noticed the new look inside (it's the best "locksmith shop" I have seen). I came on yelp to write a review regarding this business and am in shock to read this particular review of them. I have always recieved great service from them. Oil Changers is right next to them, and the owner came to look at my company van's ignition I was having a problem with while it was getting an oil change. That was Great! Friendly and quick. Needed to make two spare keys for my car because I have the tendency to lock my keys in the car. Two spares only cost about $8. It took no longer than 2 mins for him to be done. Will definitely come back to get my spare keys done. read more

This is the 2nd time I used Bayside Locksmith, Xavier did such a great job changing 9 locks at my house . Someone stole my purse & I had to change all my outside locks. It took him 1/2 hour and he even spray the sticky locks and get them to work smoothly. I would definitely call Xavier at Bayside again to fix any lock problems at my house in the future. read more

The response time is really quick. I sent out email to all three providers on Sat. They are the only one responded right away on Saturday. The scheduling was easy and they can adjust the appointment time according to my need. The service was good, they fixed my problem and even did some extra -- they noticed that there is some noise over the hinge of the door and fixed that too by putting some sprays. Overall the service is great and I am just not sure about the price since I don't have much comparison. read more

Two thumbs up for this business. I was locked out of my car in the mall parking lot with 2 crying kids. I called and a guy named Issic answered and told me he will be there in 10 minutes. He arrived right on time and unlocked my car door. I was sooooo thankful that he was able to come out so fast and get my kids and me back in the car. The place was great quick service. Went in with a key I bought online and they programmed it for my car ASAP since my original was starting to warp. Decent price for programming a car key about 45$. Very satisfied with the work that Bayside Locksmith did to order and program my 2nd 2010 Toyota Prius key fob! It took about a week to get the key fob (due to the 4th of July holiday). Once it arrived, one of their techs programmed the 2nd key fob quickly. It probably took him less than 10 minutes. Their team was courteous and professional. All features worked - comfort access, open/close using remote, and panic button. Their laser cutter was offline but they will contact me to finish cutting the valet key that is part of the key fob. Price was much lower than Toyota also. I'm glad I took my friends recommendation and used Bayside locksmith. Highly recommend them to duplicate Toyota Prius keys! read more

Had a 2000 Nissan Maxima and a 1998 Honda civic having ignition key issues. The Maxima's key would not turn and the Honda key stuck extremely bad. Isaac (the owner) came out to my Honda with a can lubricant and showed me how to fix the issue and advised me to get a new key. I went home and use WD40 and did the very same thing to my Maxima and it started to work like new. He spent a good 30 minutes with me and only charged me the price for one key. Great customer service and in my case and new loyal customer. read more

Very satisfied with their service!!! I lost my truck key the other day and had to call around to a lot of businesses. Came across Bayside let the man know my situation, he was very helpful. Bayside was also affordable and provided fast service. They said that they would arrive within 45mins, they arrived in 15mins!!! Ive been there twice and both times had a great experience. Was always impressed with the price they quoted me. Once for a locked bike rack that I'd lost the key for and once for a horse trailer I'd lost the key for. Both times they were quick and very reasonable. Definitely recommend highly. read more

I took an OEM blank in for a Honda, and Issic told me that he could not guarantee that it was going to work. He had done another key for me that worked fine. This one, however, when I attempted to put it into the ignition would barely go in. I took it back, he was not there, and left it with one of the knuckleheads at the counter(This was also the impression of him by his coworkers). Anyway, since it appears that Issic is the only one there willing to cut a key for a Honda(with transponder), I went back the next day to pick up the key, and the "knucklehead" was not there, but the other guys were, and lo and behold, he had not told Issic about the key. I left it for another day, and when I returned, they told me that there was nothing they could do, that the machine could not cut any more off the key. Looking at the original and the key that they cut, you could see the cut key was close, but still not able to do the job. Do not take a Honda key to this place. If you do, you are wasting your time and money. read more
