They had bomb food. The whole food pyramid every meal. I only got sick after I left the hospital.

My…read moremother-in-law was transported by ambulance from Guerrero Negro, Baja California, during a medical emergency, and from the moment she arrived, she received outstanding care. The doctors and staff acted quickly, performing an emergency procedure to place three stents, and took amazing care of her until she was transferred to Kaiser. Everyone was compassionate, professional, and kept our family informed every step of the way. Thank you for your kindness, expertise, and exceptional care during one of the most difficult times for our family. We truly appreciate everything you did. Highly recommend!

I walked in with my dad last Sunday to take him to the emergency room, he had slurred speech (not…read moreunderstandable at ALL) and fell down, when he got up his speech was slow but not slurred but he felt like his tongue was moving slowly and felt bad, dizzy, and weird, he started walking and it was very slow and crooked. We headed over to the ER, and the man who checked us in was SO RUDE and he was questioning us because my dad was "speaking normal" even when I explained everything that happened. He kept insisting that he looked normal, and was looking at me and my dad like we were full of crap and lying, I got very irritated with this man. They immediately took my dad in and the man followed the nurse to tell her that my dad seems fine (basically telling the nurse we were lying) and the nurse then told him my dads vitals and he just said "oh" and left. He was wrong, rude, and inserting himself in situations that he has no business inserting himself in. My dad was in fact having a stroke and was hospitalized for days and is now in a rehabilitation center for a month with recovery that will take longer, he could have died if we waited any longer, and this man could have made them doubt and make my dad wait longer. He was bald with glasses. Seriously would hate to see him again. I will be making a complaint and seek further action. Ps. The other staff, nurses, doctors, cnas were just WONDERFUL! however this man honestly needs to be removed from his job

The doctor who's taking care of me is nice and seems interested in making me feel better. I am in a small economy private room which I like but the food here is terrible and constantly late, the bed is terrible and the TV is small with very limited programming. So you're staying here will feel longer. My bed was broken for about 7 hours before they switched it the feet would not go up. Hospital beds are usually uncomfortable but since this bed was broken and made it extremely uncomfortable for me and I have low back problems to begin with. Most of the nurses and staff are friendly and I do feel like I'm getting pretty good care..

I haven't been feeling very good for the past week now and I also felt lightheaded with some other symptoms. I called the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center phone number on Monday , May 12, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. I am very happy and satisfied with the amazing quality of care I received at first when I was admitted to their Emergency Room on Monday afternoon. Eric and Zeke were the Falk Ambulance Company, Medic Number 12 transport team that drove over to my house yesterday at 2 p.m. there was also 5 San Diego Fire Department, Station Number 12 Firefighters who arrived at my home on the same day and the same time yesterday afternoon. I was assessed by these Firefighters and by Eric this paramedic who gave me an assessment on my medical condition in order to transport me to Paradise Valley Hospital. Eric said this hospital is only a 10 minutes drive away from my house towards their location so it's to my benefit to be transported there versus going to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA Eric said it would take them a one hour drive to go to my preferred destination. I decided to give Paradise Valley Hospital a chance to see that their Quality of Care with their physicians, registered nurses, lab technicians, heart specialists, the Emergency Room staff and other staff who I had to interact with these past two days gave me excellent care with affordable medical treatment. This Paradise Valley Hospital has surpassed my expectations on a higher level of Quality Care for patients like myself who I am a very picky person when it comes to my health care needs. I was treated with respect and dignity from Dr. Haas and Dr. Haakman who were my Emergency Room staff last night. These 2 physicians even though the Emergency Room was very crowded with several critical ill patients, these 2 doctors took their time and made the effort to walk over to my room to diagnose my really serious medical condition last night and they both gave me an excellent treatment plan to resolve my acute pain I am feeling right now . Both Dr. Haas and Dr. Hackman acted very professionally and showed me a lot of their compassion towards me being in a lot of pain I was experiencing in my right leg last night. I also received superb care from Valerie who was on nurse in the Emergency Room. Valerie is a very hardworking person. Valerie had to take care of me but she also had to take care of several critical care patients in the Emergency Room last night. I wanted to say THANK YOU to these other Emergency Room Staff who are very helpful and supportive of my medical condition and they went the extra mile to show me their hospital isn't just about the profit they are making it's mostly about giving me snd the rest of their patients the best healthcare at Paradise Valley Hospital in National City. THANK YOU! Josh RN, Ben who took my Vital Signs, Valerie, Nurse, Charlotte, Registered Nurse, Liz the EKG Technician, Allan the Laboratory Technician. In summary I was very impressed by the excellent care that I received from these staff members who worked in the Emergency Room and also on the 4th Floor where I am a current patient of now. THANK YOU! Gabby my Nurse and Sal who were my Registered Nurse yesterday. A big plus for me is their very healthy and delicious food that was ordered by my current physician his name is Dr. Natali P. Patel . I will be meeting with Dr. Patel this morning in order for him to give me all my Test Results for these (4 different necessary tests) that I have completed in the Emergency Room on Monday, May 12, 2025. These Tests were: an Ultrasound for both legs, Dr. Haas ordered this Ultrasound Test for me to take that evening. The awesome thing is all these (4 Tests) which was the Ultrasound Test (both legs), Lab. Tests, EKG Test, and a Heart Monitor Test . Every Testing Procedure was very accurate and completed on time for Monday, May 12, 2025 that evening. The Emergency Room was very crowded with patients that day and night too. I was required to get done that night is (their medical team) they came to my bedroom in the Emergency Room which made everything much easier and faster for me their new patient. It saved me a tremendous amount of Time and it was much more safer for me with my serious medical condition than me having to come to that specific department. Their Cafeteria Food is very satisfying and really delicious. I will definitely use this Hospital again in the future.

Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!!
