Mrs. Lowry updated the day school's curriculum to include the development of each child's physical, emotional, intellectual, social, artistic, and spiritual capacities at age-appropriate intervals in a Christian setting and with an individualized approach adapted to each child's personality. When there is change some will prefer the old and familiar. Being a pioneer demands courage and perseverance. Mrs. Lowry has graciously brought and implemented the latest proven early childhood education philosophy and techniques in Gulf Shores. I support and applaud Mrs. Lowry's commitment to our community's children and parents and especially given the criticism she's processed during the transition. While she has gracefully accepted and heard parents that are not enrolled in her vision and some who actively opposed her. Mrs. Lowry has persevered. While critics may have touched her, she seems to have listened, taken what she likes and left the rest. She remains clear on her vision and thrives on the support of many. It's understandable that those who are angry would be most likely to leave reviews. All opinions are of value. I hope that by sharing what I believe is Mrs. Lowry's educational style it will help those who want a wholistic approach find their way to Holy Spirit Episcopal Day School.

Mrs. Karen was wonderful and loving. I loved Mrs. Angelique and thought her approach to requiring slightly more out of the children was age appropriate. My son loved all his teachers, including Mrs. Vice and Mrs. Napoli. Not to mention, all interim teachers he's had coming and going that step in to cover the evening shifts and unexpected teacher absences. I always recommend them. I have never seen any inappropriate behavior from any teacher. I cannot speak for others, only my experience. (My son has never said anything that made me concerned for any situation.) They have always had great communication with me as a parent as well. I also had two young female cousins that both had excellent experiences at this daycare. Get on that waiting list early. This daycare is worth the wait in my opinion.

People are always telling me they can't believe how smart and well spoken he is! He knows all his colors, shapes and animals. He can count to 10. He knows his ABCs... I can't say enough great things about C2C. They are literally my sons home away from home. Ms. Demarus, (The director) is my sons "mom away from mom" I know they treat kids well because my son literally runs into her arms every morning! His preschool teacher, Ms. Lisa is amazing as well! She's always doing super creative crafts with the kids and she really goes all out! You can tell she really loves what she does! Not sure about the other reviews, but I know that my child loves the center and has thrived so much being here. If you're searching for a great daycare, I highly recommend C2C! Give them a chance, I know you'll be happy you did!

The lady Lisa that works there is rude, unprofessional, and shouldn't be taking care of anyone's…read morechildren. This place has infants to pre-teens all in the same room in the afternoon with only one person working in the whole building. Please listen to your gut feeling if you go there to see if its a fit for you. Your child is to precious to be left with people who put money over safety of the children. God bless!
