Serious Safety Concerns - Lack of Basic Protocols…read more I'm extremely disappointed with Marcus Pointe Preschool's lack of basic safety protocols. I recently discovered several concerning issues: No Sign-In/Out Process: They simply take kids at the door with no way for parents to sign them in or out. You do not get to engage the room or the teacher. They have a rope partition and your child is taken by a security guard woman. There's zero accountability for who's dropping off or picking up children. In an emergency how can they know who dropped off the child? No Online Reporting: I couldn't find any of their required reports on the Department of Children and Families website. They are This makes it impossible to know their history or any past violations. No ID Checks for Pickup: They did not ask for ID when my grandsons aunt picked him up. This is a HUGE safety risk! We lost 400 dollars in payments however he never went back. Who are they answering to and who is holding them accountable for the care of your child? I've brought these concerns to the director's attention but was told "this is the way it's always been". I will also speaking to DCF regarding these issues. I urge all parents to carefully consider these safety issues before enrolling their child here. I'm actively looking for a new daycare that prioritizes the well-being of children.

We had a hard adjustment period where coming in seemed to be a two man job for a 3 year old.. but once he became more comfortable he started walking in and even running to the door to beat me before giving me a quick kiss to go. Any concerns I might've had I communicated to the director who reassured me and gave me an at ease feeling. Marcus Pointe Preschool is such a blessing and I'd choose this place over and over again.

Mrs. Karen was wonderful and loving. I loved Mrs. Angelique and thought her approach to requiring slightly more out of the children was age appropriate. My son loved all his teachers, including Mrs. Vice and Mrs. Napoli. Not to mention, all interim teachers he's had coming and going that step in to cover the evening shifts and unexpected teacher absences. I always recommend them. I have never seen any inappropriate behavior from any teacher. I cannot speak for others, only my experience. (My son has never said anything that made me concerned for any situation.) They have always had great communication with me as a parent as well. I also had two young female cousins that both had excellent experiences at this daycare. Get on that waiting list early. This daycare is worth the wait in my opinion.

There's a sign asking parents not to bring sick children in, but it's clear many don't follow that rule and I am routinely concerned about the cleanliness of many of the toys.

They also have lots of activities and events which are very popular. We found Baywatch on a whim and it couldn't have been more perfect. Sharon was our sitter, a former pre-school teacher. She wasn't phased at all with our big crew. They did crafts, had treats, tech time, and all kids had so much fun. Aged 5YO to 1YO, she was great. Will definitely use Baywatch and Sharon again!!

We cannot recommend them enough! Brooklyn was super sweet & my kids loved her! If you're traveling with kids, don't pass up date night. It's well worth the money & your kids are in great hands.
