Dolphins are numerous through the harbor, and Baywatch does a fine job locating them. It's a fun quick trip with some fun and interesting info about the harbor. The nitty gritty: this isn't a tour. It's definitely a dolphin viewing experience with some side comments about the trip, which is appreciated. If you're looking for an in-depth history and guided tour of the harbor, this ain't it. But, if you're hoping g to just see some awesome dolphins, and get up close, this is your jam. read more

We had a nice time on the Baywatch Dolphin Tours in Galveston. The 4:30 PM excursion was perfect, not too hot, with a beautiful breeze out on the water. We spotted plenty of dolphins and learned some interesting history about the harbor. We also took lots of great photos and videos. Overall, a fantastic experience and would recommended. read more

What a fun time! We are born & raised Houstonians so Galveston is in our blood. It's what we know and love when you only live an hour away. We decided to do some a little different this President's Day, play part-tourist, and for a fun getaway. I had been following Baywatch Dolphin Tours on Facebook for a moment and thought, "why not!". Money well spent! Captain Adam was hilarious, friendly and knowledgeable. We did see quite a few dolphins. My son got to drive the boat for a few minutes which he enjoyed. Highly recommend if you'd like to see a different side of Galveston, want something to do outside of Houston or just want to explore. read more

We had an amazing time on the dolphin tour! Our captain was really awesome and helped contribute to the experience with his commentary and bits of cool historic facts. We were able to bring our dog on board which was the absolute highlight. We actually saw a lot of dolphins and baby dolphins, as well as some cool bits of history like a halfway sunk ship and a fighter tank boat used in World War II. I highly recommend the experience and think it is worth the money and worth doing while staying in Galveston or if driving in from elsewhere. 10/10 read more

Growing up in Galveston and then living here as an adult, we never do any of the tourist stuff but now that we live in Houston and have a small child we try to do all the things. Normally, I'm a cheapo and I'll just take him on the ferry to look at dolphins but this gets you right up close and then you get to see a bunch of other things around Galveston. The captain even let the kids drive the boat for a little bit and a wide area of water where there was nothing else around. We saw at least 12 dolphins and we even saw a couple of baby dolphins and they were all in group. What a great experience and it was so much fun and it was also my husband's favorite activity. read more

Nice boat ride, good music, great vibes! The tour guide to the dolphins was surprising, I learned a few facts that I wasn't aware of, he also cracked a few jokes that were funny. We did see dolphins swimming around, but don't expect a show, these are animals in their natural habitat looking for food. It was sweet to see/witness! read more

We did see some dolphins, as promised, but if you sit in the middle seats, you're not going to see much besides the water and sea gulls. While the captain was nice about it, he told us sitting in the middle to stay seated for the people on the other side to let the people behind you see the dolphins. Some people had a great ride for the price they paid, and us in the middle seats should have just stayed home. read more

Captain Adam was FANTASTIC. Very good experience for a very reasonable price. The music was fun, the captain was full of fun facts about the bay and especially the dolphins. It was so fun to learn about the dolphins that live there and all their names. Astro put on quite a show for us!! At the end Captain Adam let some kids drive the boat back towards the bay and they had a blast. Even 20y/o me got a turn! Live an hour and half away. Have the yearly $100 membership. I would go every day if I could! I will cont to love the 45min. and buy another membership! Dolphins finally showed up with their newbies! Only one suggestion. The captain was very knowledgeable but he never turned off the loud music while he was talking so it was alot of "noise" rather than info. And little info on the dolphins. The ride is pleasant without the radio really, and the capt could ask if we had any questions. Have gone towards the bridge and towards the concrete ship. Seems the ship direction is more nature and less sun facing. The bridge direction is so much more constant industry, the ship direction is more diverse and natural. Oh and the young man that answers the phone and works the ticket booth is kind helpful and knowledgeable. He's a great face/voice of the corp! I hope he gets some tip money or a bonus or participation is the company! as he speaks well as the voice of Baywatch Historicaal and dolphin ride. Baywatch. read more

Everything. I didn't catch the first name of the young man who checked us in, but he was great. Several families all showed up at once & he handled all of it smoothly. Captain Adam was funny & charming & knowledgeable about the harbor & the dolphins. He gave us names of moms & babies & interesting tidbits about them. We bought our tickets on trip advisor ($95 for 2 adults and 3 kids). Was a fast checkin process at the kiosk. We paid $13 to park. There was plenty of seating on the boat. There was a bathroom on the boat but we didn't use it. You can also buy sodas. We went for the 4pm tour and saw lots and lots of dolphins! The pictures weren't the best but the experience was fun for everyone. The captain was very social and fun but some of his jokes were inappropriate. Luckily our kids didn't catch it but I could see how that would make some folks uncomfortable. Aside from that, super fun and we recommend if you are looking for something to do when the beach is cold. read more

My family (kids 4 and 6 yrs) was visiting Galveston during spring break and this tour was recommended to us by a friend. I get sea sick easily, so I booked the morning tour hoping for calmer waters. This didn't turn out to be an issue though because you don't go out to open waters. We saw lots of dolphins close up! The captain was a great host. Very funny. And my kids both loved getting to drive the boat. The 1 hour tour was perfect - my 4 year old started to get squirmy towards the very end. Would definitely recommend! read more
