I already praised Baywide. The easiest means to compliment them is to say we have used them multiple times. I expect to call them again. We're regulars. Gutter cleaning is not something you'd think is significant, or I wouldn't have thought before. But with our flat roof under foliage, this is crucial. The reason I am writing, however, is not to repeat myself but instead to say my wife suggested we also hire them to do the windows and power wash the backyard. The excelled. The windows are sparkling. We opted for inside and out. We had lots of furniture to move around. It was worth it. They were most considerate and careful, a crew deserving of a tip. The backyard looks better than when we had it renovated during the pandemic. My hope is not to have to summon Baywide again for a few years for these particular services, unlike the gutter cleaning that has to be done more often than I would have expected. It was monsoon season in San Francisco, roads flooded, hillsides collapsing...and why does our neighbor keep good stuff in his garage that always floods badly. Our 1880 Victorian condo building is now leaking into two units. Right above the leak, way way way up there is a gutter, and water is just gushing over, big time, right where the two of us are experiencing problems. When I say leak, we were collecting a gallon of water overnight. We approached it logically. It probably wasn't the 4 year old roof with that water just pouring out of the gutter. So who do you get. I don't know any gutter people. So you carefully read the reviews and access the company's page. I want BONDED AND INSURED. Local is good and while I don't want to pay for scaffolding, that gutter is way up there and I refuse to book any company that says they can access the steep roof with a ladder without doing anything more than looking at it through "streetview". I like to save money but not at the expense of a person's life. We decided on Baywide Services because he checked all of our boxes and was available in a reasonable amount of time. His price was very fair. Up went the scaffolding (booked separately) and up went Brian. It had been 7 to 10 days since the latest rain and the gutters still were filled with water. Brian flushed everything out and tested the problem areas for leakage. No problem. He checked around to see if any other problems that might require repair from another professional were likely needed. Nope, the gutters were likely the sole source of our leak. And now the gutters flush clean. Brian is easy to work with, pleasant and very competent. He took multiple high resolution pictures for himself and to share with us. My suggestion is for anyone that has scaffolding up, get your gutters cleaned by Baywide. The scaffolding is the expense. Gutter cleaning is very reasonable. I have used Baywide services for my home window cleaning for a few years. Every time, my windows are sparkling after they complete the job. This time I asked them to clean our solar panels AFTER they arrived. They added it in for a charge but on our steep roof, there is no way we could do it ourselves. They did a spectacular job (picture attached). Not only are their employees respectful, helpful and great at what they do, but the job is done in a timely manner. Besides being left with spotless windows (and solar panels) they wear slipper covers over their shoes and are very careful as they clean my inside windows. The best! Our gutters and downspouts were really clogged, and spilling over the sides of our house. We got estimates from about 5 places, and decided to go with Baywide. Glad we did! Communication with Brittany was a breeze, from discussing options to setting up a date. She offered a discount bundle if we also got our exterior windows cleaned, which we did need since it hadn't been done in about 10 years. (You just don't notice how dirty they slowly get over time.) Manny and his crew came out that same week. They were on time and ready. I asked if they could clean our skylight and solar panels while they were up on the roof, and he said they could do that for just a little more. Manny clearly explained what they were doing through the whole process, offered tips on how to prevent build-up in the future, and showed me pictures of the gutters before (yuck!) and after (nice!). They did a thorough water test to make sure things were flowing smoothly when they were done. And our windows and skylight are now crystal clear. Not only their price is very competitive, but also they provided such an amazing service. Brittany is very friendly, responsive, and trustworthy, helped me with the quote and appointment. Brian and Manny cleaned the enormously tall windows of our Victorian home flawlessly! They gleam, and there's so much more light in our home now! The sophisticated, gentle water delivery pole system they brought helped us discover that our decades old windows are leaky! Since the modern waashing system didn't work for us, Brian climbed up on a 32 foot ladder to hand wash all the windows, and even though it was an enormous amount of work, he honored his original estimate. Manny helpfully pointed out old water damage around the windows, and he and Brian took pictures so that we could show a contractor what the issues are.
