This much-loved Trinidadian spot just opened this new location in White Plains. They started as a food truck in Westchester that grew such a following, they opened a cafe in Bedford, and now opened this larger location with lots of booth seating and their signature dishes. We would've tried the jerk chicken but were informed upon calling in that it would not be ready by 1pm/ so this would be something we try next time for dinner. What a lovely restaurant with wonderful customer service and truly delicious food. I had the pholourie and curried goat, and both dishes were full of flavor. My friend ordered the salmon and really enjoyed her meal. Our waitress was so friendly and checked in on us often, which made the experience even better. We encountered a street food truck on a carnival fair. My boyfriend and I ordered a hotdog and fries. The hotdog left so much to be desired. It felt like a hotdog with baked bread. I didn't even give us enough mustard. We had to ask for more after the fact. The fries literally taste like the frozen fries you get in the grocery store so they weren't even fresh. They also didn't even sell drinks so we had to go someplace else in order to get something to drink so we still had to wait in a long line. Honestly, not happy with the food. read more

People WOW !!! I came here to the train show not hungry at all. First I smelled the cart and said let me see what kind of food this is. After seeing one of favorite cuisines Jamaican and Caribbean mix and that smell I got hungry : I got the grilled chicken with the red sauce and the Mac n cheese with salad and it had the dressing on it . The salad went first . That white sauce with garlic and later found out that it had cilantro in was so good I had to get an extra cup of sauce on top of everything . The chicken was grilled to perfection, Juicy and big plus big portion . My sons burger I thought it can't be that good coming of the flat top but the chef inside knew what she was doing . Grilled well done but still juicy flavor was on point and my son a 9yo even said "these guys are good" I will make it a point to eat here again !!!! Totally forgot to take any food photos but we had Mac n cheese with fried chicken, hamburger or cheeseburger with fries, and pulled pork over rice with sweet plaintains as our three selections and they were ALL delicious! 100 percent satisfied with all aspects of their operation and HIGHLY recommend them. We came across this food truck after checking Sams Club ,as a back up to our Costco membership, at Elmsford NY. There is this vacant lot that used to be diner ( think close to exit 9 of 287) and there are several food trucks in that lot. My hubby and I were so hungry so we opted to check them out and decided to try one of the entrees of Bazodee. Ordered the jerk chicken with veggies - for $11. I was just expecting a regular jerk chicken but I was mistaken - imo it was amazing . The juiciest chicken I ever had - jerk chicken or not. We drove to the location this truck is indicated on the map and it was nowhere to be found. Perhaps they moved the truck and didn't update the map, or maybe yelp needs to come up with a better solution for mobile restaurants to indicate where they are that day if you're planning to go there. Went to the 1st annual beer and food truck festival at NY Boulders stadium. The line was the shortest but the food was good to the last rice kernel! We wanted the oxtail and a double but they did not have If you want traditional carribean flavors, this food truck did NOT DISAPPOINT. My husband could not stop raving how good the flavor of the curry goat was. Cleaned the bones bare, that's how good it was! The had no rotis to go with the goat but that was ok. The guava wings were crunchy, sweet and full of flavor. Not spicy at all. If they are at another food truck festival I go to, I'm gonna see if they have the oxtail. So the staff of this company where so very kind enough to donate food to our hospital in Mount Kisco... I am so glad they did. The food was amazing. The y offered both jerked and fried chicken to the staff and i can honestly say there wasn't a single disappointed face to be seen. I really try to support small businesses during this tough time. I ordered an oxtail bowl which they confirmed they had. 30 minutes later while they are giving me the rest of my order they then tell me they can only give me beef because they ran out of oxtail. It's a 2 person operation so there's very little room for error. Anyway they could have told me 5 or 10 minutes later but to wait until the rest of the order was ready was disappointing. The beef was "eh" and would not order it again. Rice and beans, and cabbage were good. Nice size portion. Jerk chicken and Mac and cheese are also good with big portions. read more
