I'm from Brazil and I came to the Philippines around 5 months ago. Pregnant. To deliver my baby here. It means I was constantly craving for Brazilian food, but it sounded impossible for me to find something similar here.
Well, almost impossible! I'll never forget the day I saw a Brazilian flag in the middle of Salcedo Saturday Market. I came closer to check if it was a mirage, but luckily it was true! The Brazilian Bakery stall sells typical street food from my country, like "pão de queijo" (cheesebread), coxinha (deep fried dough filled with chicken cream) and brigadeiro (candy made with chocolate, butter and condensed milk).
