We didn't meet Garrett of Aderyn until the morning of the wedding, and that didn't present a problem. Garrett is incredibly responsible/reliable, very organized, well-prepared, talented, experienced, a clear communicator, and a good listener. Based on email exchanges and one or two phone calls, Garrett got a good feeling for what we wanted and delivered in spades. I've been to weddings where the videographers were obvious and super distracting and clunky with their lights, equipment, and filming. Besides speaking up a couple of appropriate times when they needed to collaborate with us, we barely noticed Aderyn was there, which was great because it let us focus on each other and our loved ones. Aderyn truly did a fantastic job with everything: capturing the emotional moments and the highlights, presenting the day from different angles and points of view so that it felt like a whole, multi-layered story, and top-notch post-production editing. Aderyn was able to capture and relay the intangible parts of that amazing, happy, once-in-a-lifetime day and preserve it all for us. Many friends who saw the sneak-peek trailer said it seemed like the trailer to a movie they wanted to watch. It was the highest quality. A few people even emailed me to say that the trailer made them cry (hahaha). Aderyn did an absolutely beautiful job and hit it out of the park. We are so happy we chose Aderyn Productions!

Garrett went out of the way to coordinate with my DJ and make sure all the systems were on track to record some slightly hard-to-capture moments. He also coordinated with my friend who is doing all the video editing work, and went out of his way to make sure his equipment and file type met her needs. Garrett was prompt, friendly, fun, and is even putting together a customized highlights clip as a bonus! He also sent me an MP3 of the song my composer friend had custom arranged, which he caught while our string trio was rehearsing -- it was a better-quality clip since you can actually hear it instead of just people clapping/yelling during the actual ceremony, so it's a really nice bonus for us to revisit. All in all, Aderyn was affordable, flexible, responsible, and showered us with little bonuses -- totally a great blend of exactly what we were looking for! I would highly recommend these guys for any wedding!

Maybe that statement alone speaks of how talented he is. He was able to capture a day filled with so much love and emotion that you can't even describe it with words and perfectly represent it in a film that you can watch over and over to relive that marvelous day. Austin has a true artistic eye as well as the warmest heart! From the first conversation he was such a pleasure to work with. He even flew all the way from Seattle to Santa Barbara for our wedding and stayed late so he could capture footage of us on the beach that he knew would be beautiful in the film. We chose to do private vows because I am very shy and wanted that moment to be a beautifully intimate moment between my husband and I but Austin made us feel so at ease that we let him tape it and oh my goodness am I glad I did! After all was said and done we got back the most gorgeous, beautiful, intimate video that shows our joy and love. I have not shown the video to a single person who has not cried due to how beautiful it is! She really knows how to capture candid and posed photos, and she has such an eye for what she does. I still consider the photos she took of me that day as the most beautiful I have ever felt or looked.
