Lovely location. Came here after a very long day and drive to enjoy some delicious food. We got sat down quickly and read through the menu. Tried a few new items we've never had along with one that we did like before. The waiter was very nice and patient with us. Food got out quickly and was like lava in your mouth.. so we had to wait for it to cool down. The interior seemed fairly new. Overall, great experience

Mymy, dakgogi, the fry move over. Daddy's here. Half half with soy garlic & secret - 47$. Fat juicy pieces of chicken. No dry white meat. This is what we're asking for. Soy garlic and secret was perfect - not too spicy for a casual eater like myself. Although the prices are a bit high these days, they're on par with the other top chains.

I just placed an online order for pick up later So happy that since South Korea advanced into round 16 in FIFA Word Cup, BBQ chicken has a great promo of chicken fried chicken for $16 online order only I love bbq chicken golden fried and especially their special sauce flavour as well Don't miss out on this special offer !!!

Black pepper fried chicken (bone-in)
Natalie C.

Haven't been back to BBQ Chicken for over a year and they certainly have a lot of new flavours on the menu! We ordered the bone-in black pepper chicken which was more of a dry rub style. And man was it peppery! It really had a kick to it and at times I found it a bit too spicy for me. Keep in mind, my spicy tolerance is low. The batter was crispy and you can tell that it was seasoned before it was battered as there was a bit of red powder/layer in between. What was quite impressive was that the crushed black pepper stuck to the battery quite well. I really like the portion size as it wasn't too big for 2 people to have with some veggies and carbs. Got to have a balance diet, right?

Tried this for takeout with friends and the chicken was great. I liked that the packaging let the steam out to ensure that it would not be soggy. We got 4 flavours and all were great. Original, honey garlic, spicy and cheese. And the part that surprised me was after a 10-15 min drive home the quality of the chicken was still there.

honey garlic, ganjeong, cheesling chicken

Ordered bb.q for takeout dinner and holy THIS WAS SOOO GOOD ITS STILL MY FAVOURITE KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN PLACE IDC WHAT YALL SAY I been on a mission to find my fav and this sits at the top!! We got their honey garlic (my personal fav), gang-jeong (fav amongst my peers) and their cheesling chicken (new favourite) as well as their Secret fries (so yummy) The chicken is crispy fresh and juicy while evenly coated in sauce, the cheesling chicken has a nice outer crust that breaks off once u bite it and has a nice sweet and savoury cheese flavour, the fries were thin and almost reminiscent of mcdonald's fries with a korean sweet sauce and mayo which paired perfectly with the chicken. This really hit the spot for dinner and I recommend ordering from them if you are in need of a good hearty meal

Secret sauced chicken

I decided to order takeout from bb.q chicken&pub. This was my first time ordering food from here. I wanted to try two different flavours so I ordered the secret sauced wings and the soy garlic chicken. You get quite a lot of chicken for the price, which was nice. The chicken was super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The reason why I took off 2 stars is because of the flavours. The secret sauced wings were sweet and slightly spicy. They were just okay in terms of flavour, I got sick of them really quickly. The soy garlic chicken had an unusual flavour. It had a strong metallic flavour but it was also a bit sweet. I'm not generally picky with wing flavours but these two weren't my favourite. But I did really like how the chicken was cooked and would love to try different flavours from this place!

This restaurant became my favourite place for Korean deep fried chicken. I made 3 visits in a month and their food was always good. I remember they were having a lunch promo 20% off on selected food items including rice and chicken. I rank their Gangjeong chicken 1st. It is a Korean traditional sauce with red pepper, garlic and some sweet flavour. Their honey garlic chicken was also good! I prefer their boneless chicken over bone in chicken because it is different from typical western fried chicken. They used dark meat to make bone less chicken so it was tender and juicy! Note: they offer snack when you first go in and it is random snack. Their house made chips were soooo good!

Half and Half - cheeseling and Spicy hot
Kat A.

This was a different Korean fried chicken place I tried with a friend. The nice thing is they offer to split two flavours which is an amazing option. We got Cheeseling and Spicy Hot. The spicy hot was a good flavour - but definitely mild and not hot. The Cheeseling was an interesting flavour profile, the first couple of bites were delicious but afterwards, I didn't like it for some reason. My friend decided to try their rice cakes and she said the sauce was spicy! It tastes like traditional rice cakes! My friend pointed out that the sauce on the Spicy Hot was cold even though the chicken itself was hot. So not sure what that was about. Anyway overall, pretty good, they have some cool flavours like Mala Hot, which Ill look forward to next time. COVID: temperature check and filling out a short contract tracking form (name and phone number). At the tables, you have hand sanitizer and they bring you service wipes as well. They're serious about it which I like a lot.

Boneless large cheeseling chicken. Powdered cheese is such a great flavor.

Amazing Korean fried chicken. This is more a take out joint and during this pandemic for sure takeout is the way to go. I called ahead and drove 60km all the way from Burlington for these bad boys. The cheeseling boneless chicken is to die for. These have powdered cheese and they're oh so good. I already tried their bone in and we just wanted to have a simpler time eating it so we got the large (full chicken) boneless cheeseling one for about $30+. I also ordered their sweet spicy or spicy secret sauce boneless chicnen one, too and it was terrific. Hardly spicy at all. Still crunchy beneath all that sauce. I called ahead and the order was ready 45 minutes later. Awesome.

Large Half & Half Combo
Mike M.

I split a large boneless half & half with a co-worker. We went with the Original Fried and the Secret Spicy! Let me start by saying the Large is huge! It was 16 large pieces. 8 Original and 8 Secret Spicy. The Secret Spicy sauce from what I have read is imported from Korea. It was sweet with a little kick. I would put it on the mild side. They don't skimp on the sauce. All the pieces were coated nicely. The star of the show for me was the Original Fried. The pieces were super crispy with a light batter. The inside was cooked to perfection and all the pieces were extra juicy. No dry chicken here! The outside coating was spiced perfectly. They even had a little kick that made you want to eat more! Of the two flavours this was my favourite today. They have many other flavours which I'm sure over the next few months I will get through more of them!

Hyped-up! Bought 1xsmall of golden fried chicken, $12.99 Bought 1xsmall of honey garlic chicken, $13.99 Both bone-in. Unlike KFC, Popeyes, Mary Brown's or Jollibee, bb.q chicken consists of cut-pieces NOT whole thighs/breast/ribs. With both small orders, it consisted of the following: 1 leg 1 wing (wing-part) 1 wing (leg-part) 1 breast (cut into 3 pieces) 1 rib (cut into 2 pieces) = 8 pieces at $12.99! RIP-off. Totally! A moist toilette/2 chopsticks/napkins were included in my order. Must be the reason why their chicken is expensive and cut-up in small pieces (need chopsticks) whereas with KFC,Popeyes, Mary Brown's and Jollibee's whole chicken pieces, one must simply use their hands. Taste-wise, Popeyes & Jollibee are better.

[2020 Take-Out] I was in the area visiting my parents, and decided to get some KFC for them. Opted for the half/half combo, fries, and spicy rice cakes. The Secret Spicy Chicken was seriously addicting, and the sauce had a nice kick to it. The Original was crispy, but not oily at all. I don't recommend their fries though, as it was soggy and not good (at least to me).

We raved about our mutual love for all things wings (especially flats), and he suggested this place. He's a local, born and raised in Toronto, so I figured his opinion on the best wings had to be accurate. And boy was I right!!! Appropriately named, Crave Wings unlocked the key to my heart with the first bite! As I take a gulp-sized swallow to avoid drooling at the memory of the deliciousness I experienced here. Both the wings and fries were phenomenally yummy! I decided to dine inside because I wanted to experience everything fresh and hot! By the time I was finished, there was nothing left except bones and the container they came in. I look forward to going back, again and again. And AGAIN!!

I personally love dry rubs when it comes to wings. - Garlic Cajun: flavourful and crispy - Salt & Pepper: ordinary, nothing special - Kansas BBQ: tangy and slightly spicy Highly recommend Garlic Cajun and Kansas BBQ. Service was friendly despite they're always busy. They do takeouts mainly but there are about 20 seats for dine-in. On the left side of restaurant, you see a wall in yellow with their logo on. On the right side of the restaurant which is the table side, there are walls with different popular mangas, from One Piece to Naruto to Demon Slayer.

We got the 50pc combo and it was enough to share between 5 people with some leftover. The price was pretty standard for the combo but seems to be expensive otherwise. The flavours we tried from most liked to least in my opinion: Mango habanero (spicy), Korean bbq, Lemon pepper, Honey garlic. The cajun fries and corn were also pretty good. The ranch definitely elevated everything as well. The main issue I had was with the chicken; the pieces were small with some that were very small. Overall the sauces were good but in general I'd say it's a bit over hyped.

Upon entering, the mix of greens, woods, and spacious seating was very inviting. However, the service was just decent. Now, let's talk about the food. I was disappointed with the size of the chicken wings compared to other places I've been to. The fries were okay but lacked a punch in flavour. As for the wings, I tried the BBQ bases, KBBQ, and Hickory Smoked BBQ. Despite being advertised with a bit of 'heat,' I could hardly taste any. The dipping sauce was also quite runny compared to the thicker consistency I prefer. Overall, I was a bit let down after all the hype on social media. Many say the U.S. locations are better. It doesn't hurt to try, but there are other wing places that I'd prefer.

Parking is behind the entrance and you do have to pay. I think if you come after 6pm, or maybe it was 7pm? It's only $3.50 (CAD if you're reading this from the US or something. All prices are in CAD because it's in Canada obviously. Lol) for overnight? Normally $2.50 an hour or something like that. I found out about the place on a YouTube video from CantoMando (I was going to try The Heartbreak Chef's food as well, but it seemed like they closed down?). A lot of the time stuff from social media turns out to be ehhh whatever, but not this place! I didn't capture the interior, but it had a very nice cozy vibe. There were beanbag chairs, some toys and stuff on a shelf to play with. The seating was mostly booth style with some having chairs that were nicely cushioned and everything was well kept. The bathroom had a funny don't clog it or you have to fix it sign and the table had a qr code for a digital menu as well as a notice that they discourage tipping! I love that! Tipping has been getting out of control everywhere... Anyway, enough of that. You want to know about the food, right?! Wow! The food here is amazing! I wanted to try all the different sauce flavors. The waiter at first couldn't think up the best way to do that, so he consulted his coworker. (Both very nice people, definitely hope to see them again when I visit with more of my family next year.) We ended up ordering the Sarang Platter as recommended by the waitress/hostess/cashier since we had a party of 3. The chicken was extremely crispy, moist, juicy and well seasoned. The squid and fries as well, minus the juicy moist part. Lol Every sauce flavor was great. I couldn't even rank them from favorite to least favorite. To me, they were all equally good, just depends what you're in the mood for at the time. You can't go wrong either way, unless you're just a picky eater and don't like certain things like garlic, green onion, soy sauce, honey, etc. Lol But honestly, you don't even need the sauce! I would have been perfectly happy with the entire platter and no sauces! The pickled daikon confused me as first with the color added. I'm so used to seeing it just white, but it was perfectly crunchy, sweet and vinegary. Compliments to the chef! Portion size is generous. It was listed as for 3 people, but it could have fed 4 no problem. Oops, I forgot to mention the coleslaw thing. It was just meh. Basically thousand Island dressing with thinly shredded cabbage. Pretty basic so you can't go wrong, but nothing special about it, but don't let that final note be what you remember. Remember the delicious chicken! Lol We were all stuffed and had some fries left to take home. The waitress wrote thank you and drew a cute face on it! Haha I love it! After eating, I stayed a bit and talked with them about my journey and why I was there and it turned into a Tesla talk! Haha Oooh boy, I love me some good Tesla talk! I'm known for it amongst my friends and family. Lol Meanwhile my brother and his wife were just waiting to go. I didn't want to leave. Haha Anyways, great place, great people, great food! I definitely recommend coming here for some amazing fried chicken and all the other stuff! Hopefully you all enjoy it was much as I did and will in the future!

There were chicken, calamari - really bad and very chewy idk how they ended up serving full sized calamari, and chips in our platter and none of it really tasted good. Not even the chips lol.
