I chose Economy Tires to do my repair because of the reviews and the location. They did a wonderful job. They found a nail in my front tire and plugged it up. They couldn't remove my tire because I had a lock on it and didn't have the tool, but he put soap and water on the tire looking for the leak. He found it easily and I was out of there quickly and it was only $10! I felt so badly for them working in this heat that I gave them a nice tip for their services. I wouldn't hesitate to go to these gentlemen to fix your tires. They took good care of me and were very honest.

The car is the W211 chassis which I've always liked since it first came out. A generally very reliable car. I've been driving BMWs and Mercedes since the 80's and wanted to get her a safe, reliable and low maintenance car. That said owning these cars can be inexpensive but only if you don't let things go too far maintenance wise. You also do need a knowledgeable mechanic and he can save you a LOT of money and lower your Total Cost of Ownership. Before delivering it to her I had my mechanic of 20 years service the car and also had him perform all the minor repairs and work it needed using only new Mercedes parts. Unfortunately a few weeks after being delivered to her the car's alarm decided to fail and began running down her battery silently 3 nights in a row. One of the guys with the service and towing guys suggested Harlan Automotive. I ended up talking to Mike at Harlan Automotive and was very pleased with his technical knowledge and dedication to customer service. He even arranged rides for my mom to get to and from the shop. He fixed the problem the first time for the price agreed, and delivered her repaired vehicle within the promised time window including the ordering and delivery of the new alarm module. I also want to take a moment to address a theme I saw on a couple of other Yelp comments. My sense of things is that Harlan Automotive is an honest shop providing top shelf garage services to drivers who are interested in a fair price to maintain their vehicles. It's not going to be the absolute cheapest place but they're fair, honest, reliable and quality focused. They also stand behind their work and went out of their way to help my elderly mother.

Also, whereas some places would try to convince me that I needed new tires on the rear, they recognized the value of the tires that it had. Finally, while I was there for the repair, I asked if they did the kind of work required to reconnect part of a body panel. They do, and it was repaired by the end of that visit. Plus!!! They did not charge me for that extra repair even though I said that surely I owed them something for the extra work!!! My old car repair people retired, and I was looking for a new home. I've found it.

They had no other vehicles in the shop, so I have no idea why it took so long. The fact that they charge a $15 shop fee on a service they already offer, plus a 3% convenience fee for using a debit card, is beyond ridiculous. It would have been nice to know these fees were going to be charged up front, before making the appointment. An extra, unexpected $30.00 charge on top of the quoted price, is just insane.

Butch test drove my car and had his helper jack up the front driver side wheel and determined on the spot that 3 of the 5 Wheel Lugs were real loose. Butch told his helper to torque wrench those babies tight and check the other two, as well as the rear driver side wheel lug nuts for extra safety. Butch then test drove it again and told me to drive away without paying him a dime! I went back later and he still would not accept any cash payment! The man virtually saved my life. please visit this business first and foremost and if it can't be done there, Butch is your savior! Butch told me it was called getting lucky! I drove 100 miles on that wheel sounding off the night before and I was led by the owner of a motel to the west. He said this business can solve anything you have. All I can say is God worked 2 miracles or maybe more to save my life. These 2 businesses can fix your car, but only if you trust them!
