The puncture was on the tread, not the wall. She claims its at an "angle" and cannot legally be repaired even if on the tread. I suspected she was lying, but again I was on a time crunch. So I bit the bullet and bought the overpriced tire and told them to put the old one in the back. I remember driving past a couple mom and pop tire shops. I went straight to one that was thankfully open on a Saturday. They repaired the tire no problem, which would be 30 bucks. But I bartered my overpriced non -matching new one for the repair. This place is vile, I hate this place. I hate myself knowing they were ripping me off and taking advantage of it because I was on a time crunch. Any other time, I would have cursed them out and left. Taking advantage of someone down on their luck is evil. The place and their management must lack religion. Do NOT go here. Do not reward this place with business. Go to a mom and pop shop instead. I can understand going here if pressed for time like me and forced to go a chain with more hours, but if not? 100% go elsewhere. Took my rv in to fix motor ac which was blowing air but not cool. They replaced compressor and various other parts. Picked up rv on short ride home seemed to be working. A couple weeks later took rv trip and ac not working. Called cunningham and took back for repair. They said compressor was leaky and replaced it again. They said it was ready for pickup but when i tried it was not blowing any air. I had to wait until Larry got back from lunch then i told him didn't appear to be fixed. Was blowing cold air through defrost but not through front vents. He said i would have to take it to rv place. Wtf? He said he told my husband that from beginning which is bs. Unfortunately my husband want with me. How could he have told him when that wasnt even a problem in the beginning!!! This symptom started only after they worked on rv. So rather than argue i left and of course i was pissed and disappointed. I don't appreciate lying, partially fixing ac, and not to mention treating me like the dumb wife when i am the principle for this rv! Hours of research and youtube videos later... i found vacuum line abraded and replaced. Vacuum line to reservoir hanging down and not reattached. Dumb. Thankfully i was able to fix but have lost all confidence in these supposed ac experts just quitting midstride and leaving me in a lurch! It's a given that Sonny has the skills and expertise to do the work...but it goes way beyond that. The story behind how I've come to know this business and the people who are building it becomes anecdotal in nature but meaningful to a far away college student/family. Our daughter is a MSU Vet student and it is required to have a vehicle to travel to the farm for class/work. The car is typical of what you would expect, solid...but from time to time has issues. Until we met Sam and Sonny...we were just hoping her car could get her through to graduation. Hope is not enough when the car had other plans for making dramatic tales of failure just in time for finals/class/lab and work. Sonny and his wife Julie have truly stepped up and have treated my daughter on par as they would their own kids. They understand the need to work with the college kid, and the parent footing the bill. Cars, like anything, will wear out and break down over time. When they do, a good and honest mechanic is a gift. Not only did Sonny and Julie handle the mechanical issue, but also helped diagnose what did NOT need to be done. This shop could have run up a bill on the transmission (which can be typical) but instead gave realistic expectations, checked out the rest of the car and only did what was necessary to make it safe and reliable. And with an old car, as much as could be reasonably expected! Local retail/commercial/campus garages have in large part been horrible to students. Not just to my daughter (before meeting Sam and Sonny). In short, dismissive and rude(knowing the parent and "wallet" isn't available). Thank you again Julie and Sonny for being excellent in so many ways!

To our dismay there was a noise coming from the transmission and the last thing we wanted to do was ruin our new engine with an improperly joined transmission. Note: we are not mechanics and have very little experience working on cars. We watched a lot of YouTube. So I looked for a local transmission shop as the one I have used in the past is no longer in business. I read the review of I S. and knew Sonny's was where I was going to send my truck. I had a similar experience when my daughter was living and going to school in Pensacola. I found a guy I felt I could trust at a PepBoys and he promised to take good care of her 10 year old car as I couldn't make that trip every time she had a problem. Despite having a parking lot full of cars he had to work on, Sonny was able to check my transmission out pretty quickly and found the noise was coming from a protective plate over the catalytic converter that had come loose. He tightened that up, put new end links on the front sway bar that I ask him to do, and that was that. No more noises and my truck drives like a new one. The charges were very reasonable and I am very happy. I now have a place to take my vehicles when they have their issues. Thank you Sonny and Julie for a great experience. By the way, I live in Murray, not California, but I don't see how to change that.
