They have vegetarian and non vegetarian versions. The hummus was fantastic and so was the tabouli. It was some of the best I have ever had and that is saying something! The cheese rolls were a separate order and I loved them so much! The pickles are wonderful- super sour and tangy. Perfect! We ordered a side order of them. The olives were hit and miss. My chicken kabobs were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dipping sauce was also a wonderful addition to the meal. I really can't say enough about the meal. Highly recommended.

Greeted and sat quickly by the owner who put us at his table and welcomed us himself. He apparently was a big local name in immigration as it took him 18yrs to get legal status apparently. From Syria and the nicest guy. We had great conversation for over 30min and he kept apologizing for "boring" us but we assured him it was wonderful to have such great conversation. He shared his family a bit and we ours and some books and educational conversations. He was very well read and super to speak with while at the same time his food was amazing. The hummus was the best I have ever had and I've had a lot over the years from different areas (Jordan, etc). Highly recommend for a nice evening and great conversation if you happen to get the pleasure to meet the owner!

So delicious! Great ambiance/space. Nice music but you can still hear the person at your table…read more Friendly staff. We started with the pastela appetizer which had some ground quail/chicken, almonds, saffron inside a filo pastry wrapper, fried like an egg roll dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Came with an olive oiled side salad... perfect. So Yum!! I had the lamb tagine (carrots and peas) and I ate EVERYTHING. My guy had the 7-hour lamb shoulder. Also gone. The veggies and fries that came with it were colorful and yummy too. I think Moroccan food is my new favorite cuisine. :) I wish there were restaurants in the Bay Area!

We did the "early bird" and the price ended up being higher than the normal cost of those items on the menu! The flavor was so bland and the dips were weird colors and tasted very off except for the tdaziki dip. The Mediterranean bowl could have been good if it were served warm with warm roasted vegetables, but it was ice cold. The cous cous royale was okay but could have been better with more seasonings and flavor. The pastine was dry and bland and disappointing. The only tasty thing we ordered was the ginger lemonade which was out of this world. Also the portions were large and presentation was nice and the restaurant itself has great decor, which is why it gets 2 stars. Someone would have to pay me to eat here again lol

After a week of stews and fish and chips I was craving something more familiar so I popped in here…read more I'll start with the good. The decor is on point. The space itself is small and intimate, and this venue isn't a place to go if you have more than 6-8 in your group. It's dimly lit and the perfect date spot atmosphere wise. Service itself was pretty good, and the food presentation was perfect in the traditional cookware. The best part of the entire dinner for me was the Moroccan mint tea I ordered at the end. It also was served in traditional glassware and the waiter refilled it several times. Now the not so good. The main dishes themselves...didn't even come close to tasting authentic Moroccan or Arabic. I ordered the lamb tagine with the couscous as a side. I'm not saying the dishes themselves were bad. They weren't. But if you're coming here for a good authentic Arab dish, I didn't find that. If you want a more western fusion on Arabic dishes then you'll more likely be in luck. It just needs to be advertised as such to consumers.

It's a cozy room but with enough space to be quite comfortable. It seems like a great place for dining with a significant other - date, spouse or whatever works for you. Tonight, the food and service was outstanding. My wife and I had the mezze for two. We had a Moroccan red wine. It was our first Moroccan wine. It was good. It was slightly sweet, and paired nicely with our much sweeter main courses. From the pre-appetizer olives and wine through desserts and mint tea, we savored every bite. It was only my third time eating Moroccan food, so I cannot speak about "authenticity" but I can tell you that every dish was delicious. I highly recommend giving Moroccan food a try, and i don't think you can go wrong trying it here!
