We were looking for the best kebab in town, and we have found it! The service starts when you walk in the door, and they offer you tableside ordering upstairs (accept, trust me). The staff are attentive and very accommodating to make your visit the best possible, but really, this is about the food. Ordered (and devoured): - Lamb kabab (one order) - Naan - Curry chips - side of roasted tomatoes For two people, this was a feast! This was a very good lamb shawarma wrap (it look a little to convince them to do it as a sandwich). Excellent meat to other stuff ratio. After having seen the kabobs I wish i had gone that route but have no complaints on the sandwich at all. Tasty. read more

Heard so much about P4F from so many I brought the wife with me also as she loves a kebab. I have to say from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out the staff we're absolutely amazing so friendly. My self and the wife didn't eat much, much to the chefs dispair he was genuinely hurt. It just wasn't for us. The meat was dry crispy in places the pitta was fine but after a third of my kebab I just couldn't eat any more wife was pretty much the same. But overall it was a nice visit made to feel so welcome I wish every place had service like this. read more

While walking to take the Teeling Distillery tour, I walked by Passion 4 Food where rich and enticing smells of roasting meat and spices wafted from the open kitchen right out the door. Through the window I saw upright spits of lamb and chicken. There were people standing in line and it appeared to me that they have a booming take away business. I stopped to take a picture of the sign and returned later that night. I'm from San Francisco, California and we have a lot of middle eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Passion 4 food effortlessly exceeded my expectations. I've been in Ireland now for three weeks and this is the only restaurant I have returned to patronize. 1) The restaurant is super-clean and organized. It is well staffed and busy. These are all good signs. A busy restaurant means the food is turning over and fresh. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu items to me. Another word on freshness, while I was eating, the restaurant's food order arrived from the purveyor and you could see the vegetables were crisp and the chicken was pristine. 2) I ordered the bbq lamb. Not only was it delicious; they marinate it in light spices and perhaps lemon, and it was perfectly cooked. The lamb was absolutely succulent and tender. The perfect bits of char and glistening fat melded the flavors together as the spices entertained my taste buds. I read another review (with photos) where it looked like our man's lamb was overcooked. If that happens, tell the staff and give them a chance to correct it. The second time I ate at Passion 4 Food, I'd been thinking about the place for a week. I ordered the Lamb/Chicken Donner plate. This is the meat they cut off of the rotisserie. Amazingly, the chicken was as juicy and delicious and the lamb I'd devoured on my first visit. 3) VALUE: I spent $8 on my second visit and my plate was loaded with a mound of meat, rice, salad and sauce. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE If you like falafels, don't order from this place. We ordered falafel wraps, chips and a box with lose falafels. Everything was bland and soggy. I the fillings of the wraps were equally as bland as the falafels and chips. I had to open them and add my own fillings. The whole idea of ordering take away is to NOT have to cook. Despite adding some fresh veggies and sauces to the wrap, I ended up leaving at least half of it and went to bed hungry. Instead of giving stars, I should be giving this place black holes. On the way in to Dublin our taxi driver recommended P4F to us. I had Kubideh which was cooked perfectly and delicious. The naan was probably the best I've ever had. P4F has amazing flavors and a nice atmosphere. They do not accept card, so bring cash if you're planning to eat here. That's my only real complaint. read more

Just ordered from here, read some good reviews so was pretty excited. What a let down, food arrived not completely cold but not hot. Taste was not good at all. We got taco fries, couldn't eat them, donar kabab was very dry with no sauce and flavor not great. Chicken burger was greasy with half a slice of tomato. It took nearly an hour and a half to get my food delivered, though they did call and warn me it would take a while so I knew that going in. The kebab was the biggest kebab I've ever seen. I mean, it was a behemoth...and while sometimes that's great (I was extremely hungry), I definitely knew it wasn't that great of a kebab quality-wise. It was mostly oily sauce, not the good stuff, and there wasn't very much meat on it. The naan they put it in was pretty good though. My friend Omar brought me here one of the last evenings before Ramadan began. I'd just arrived in Ireland and had not gone out to many restaurants yet. Passion 4 Food made an excellent impression on me and definitely solidified a good impression of the restaurants of Dublin. The chicken kebabs were phenomenal, some of the best I've tasted. Fantastic kebabs. Big servings. Fresh infredients, in my experience. Olives are a bit intense and unexpected. Good bread wraps soak up the juice, so it can get messy, but if you don't want a messy kebab you can starve in zaytoon for all I care. Do not judge or go for the decor--but if you want flavourful, fresh, authentic dishes this is the place. Well what can I say about Passion4Food, the food took an hour to be delivered and it was cold. Most of the items were not what we had ordered and some items simply were not there. A quick call to the shop and i was guaranteed by one of their staff that the missing items were to be delivered promptly and that they were very sorry... until another member of staff returned a call and described to me how the kebab I had ordered was not "supposed" to have naan bread included and that diet coke and diet 7 up are essentially the same thing. He graciously offered to rectify the situation by allowing me the privilege of paying for the missing naan (with additional delivery charges) but I did not accept. Before he abruptly hung up the phone the member of staff pointed out that the root cause of the confusion was because "I probably don't understand English". I have always been a loyal customer but thanks to this one member of staff we will not be ordering from them ever again. read more
