They assured me that the aftermarket glass would calibrate with my Subaru. And, while I appreciate…read morethey were confident, they refused any guarantee with it, which was fine. I stressed the importance of this for my 2020 Subaru Impreza, which the tech assured me they were trained and efficient in this. I canceled my appointment with Safelite, which gave me a 1 year guarantee that if the camera wouldn't calibrate as promised they would put new and different glass OEM on my car. Needless to say because of the $600 savings, I went with Kosin. Their glass is spectacular, their speed was great, but then sorry your eyesight doesn't work anymore.... I asked to have the old glass put back in, but it had been thrown away. They ensured me the car was fine to drive as-is, and let me leave without paying. They allowed my word to be good, that if at least the glass and car drove fine I'd pay for the work down, which was now down from $885, to just $625. They offered to order OEM glass, but that I would have to pay the difference another $640 dollars, but THEY still refused to say the eyesight would calibrate or that they could get it. Now I feel kinda stuck, having to drive my car as-is. They're lucky I kept my word on paying them for the glass, as part of me felt like I shouldn't pay. Now, if the car ever needs to, I have to go to the dealership.. Which they told me I'm looking at NEW glass and camera work... $1600... I recommend Kosin's Glass for speed, and price, but only if you need glass. They tell you they can handle calibration and are trained to work on Subaru... they aren't. I wish I would've spent the $1200 with Safelite, as they were able to promise and guarantee the camera calibration. That $1200 also included wiper blades, cabin air filter, rain repellent, 1 year guarantee on the calibration, and lifetime on the install of the windshield. Safelite is always recommended by Hodge's Subaru here in MI. OEM glass, and knowing the right people to go to is crucial. But, at least my car still drives fine. A+ on the glass, and work.
