I wanted to get my wife a year long pass to get her car washed. I drove my car up there so I didn't have her license plate to assign to the plan. I got her a gift card from EL Car Wash in the same amount as a year pass. We have since been there four times and they're unable to figure out how to take their own gift card and turn it into a year long pass for the same amount. They have repeatedly told management had to fix it and the manager had been on vacation twice and never contacted us despite promising he would call us twice. She can't even get her car washed now and it's filthy. Whatever you do, do not do anything that involves having to talk with management for this EL Car Wash. There are 30 car washes in Brighton. Started out great but now they are just another sloppy Brighton carwash. No one sprays the right side of the car or the back. Even when they are standing there. This is Downtown Brighton, not Downtown L.A. We drive on dirt roads which is why I pay for unlimited service; however if the service isn't there, what am I paying for. Again, they were great in the beginning when they opened. The top rotating towel wiper only comes down half the time now, there are "never" any clean towels at the detail stations, the front & rear of my car, including the rear window are always dirty after pulling out of the wash tunnel... and now I am starting to see a significant amount of brush marks on the surfaces of my car... Nope, I'm done paying for a poor quality car wash. Actually its a good time to quit because now that it is summer, I sure won't miss the bottleneck when you have to fight to hold your position after pulling through the pay station and having three lines merge into one in about 70' before entering the wash... Yep time for me to find a better wash! read more

Zero effort in the pre wash. They Only spray one side of the car. Apparently only the left side of cars gets dirty. Claim short staffed but they have numerous people in the booth pushing memberships or sitting on their phones. Disappointing. Remind your dentist when you go to only clean the left side of your teeth. read more

New car wash in Brighton. I must say that after my first experience, it seems to be a lot better than the others in the area! My car didn't have any spots which seems to be uncommon at other washes. The vacuums are strong and everything you need is right there! I bought a membership for $1 for the first month. If I continue to have a good experience, I'll keep it. The service was good. Very helpful and friendly staff. A bonus is that they were giving away free cookies from Cookie Plug today! read more

A bit of buyers remorse here. When they first opened they were great. While they were actively trying to get people signed on to one of their subscription programs. We have had a subscription for like a year now and I contemplate stopping it pretty much every time I go through now. They only ever have one person spraying off the drivers side of the car anymore. I asked about it and was told they were short staffed and were training someone right now. That was a few weeks ago and they still only have one person. But there were literally four people standing out by the lanes to run out and show you the card to try to sell you the subscription. Why can one of them not be spraying the passenger side? If it gets busy then bring them back out to the lanes. But there are only three lanes. There should never be a need for four people standing out there with little cards doing nothing while one gives you a halfa$$ one sided spray off. It is all the time because I go through easily 3-4 times week and this is always the case. The last time the guy spritzed my windshield a little and then walked to the back of my car with power wash gun in hand not spraying anything at all. Then spritzed the back of my car a little. Why could he not have a least pulled the trigger on his walk back? But still never anything on the passenger side. Not for months and months now. I guess I could even understand it some if they were really busy but that's not the case. The time I went through and he didn't spray it at all I was the only one there. Nobody behind me. So there was no rush. When you get through the car is always still dirty. Especially the back. That's almost never actually clean. The only reason I have kept the membership is because I am at Meijer 4-5X a week and run through every time. So it still makes sense from a financial standpoint. But, if you don't go through that often, I would definitely not subscribe. Now that we are coming into summer I may just drop it and wash it at home. read more

This winter only has one person spraying wheel wells and back of car. Cat was still dirty. Now they have two . Not sure how long it will last. Otherwise they were really good at first. They have gotten better. read more

The car wash is great. If I had to recommend anything it would be to spend a little more time and thoroughness at the pre wash, and have 2 people always there. I have mud in places on my truck that's been there for months and could easily be hit with the power washer. I had the chance to chat with Vince and he clearly is very ambitious and seems to be a hard worker just trying to climb the corporate ladder. I wish him luck and hope he gets the chance to prove himself. As with just about any business, it's the people that Make it go around, they are the most important asset. A company that treats their employees well and recognizes their worth is a great company in my book. read more

very very disappointed. After all the hype, it definitely was not worth the 30.00. the tailgate was still dirty and the passenger window was also. I was told it would be towel dried, the drying roller stopped at my windshield. I was told I would get tire treatment. while they are clean, I see no treatment on them. the gentleman was very nice and informative but I still will not be back. it was more like a 15.00 car wash, not 30.00. read more

They gave me a free air freshener, which was nice. What I needed, however, was a decent car wash. Poor quality and poor value. See photo of how dirty my tailgate is right after!! Purchased the ceramic membership, happy with the wash. Dryers could be better, water marks are still along the sides of the car from the rear mirrors (I don't want to dry down my car, especially in the winter months). Mostly definitely the sprayers at the beginning of the wash need to step it up. The long haired blonde on the left is awesome, the young guy as well as the older guy on the right are useless. Most of us live on dirt roads and need those wheel wells sprayed good, the guys on the right barely bend over, and by the way, I tip $2 each time a come in. I've "nicely" mentioned this 3 times and still the same. Just what Brighton didn't need another useless car wash. Hope it gets better or my membership will be cancelled. read more

SCAMMERS. I was told I would get a month of car washes for $1, with zero obligation, no need to cancel. I confirmed this with the gentleman that signed me up three times. I just found out today that they have been charging me monthly for three months the $40 payment. I called and they refused to refund the full amount, only two months worth. I have used the car wash one time, the day I spent the $1, and they can see that but refuse to refund me. Liars, scammers and all around bad business. Avoid!! read more
